Description: Champeign, Aidan
Twilighttown - July 26, 2006 02:54 AM (GMT)
The young dapple grey strode across the ground, sacred daggers chopping at the floor, crunching it. her banners waved in the air as she came to a stop. she took in a smell of the air and looked around. she looked for others, hoping for someone who could give her a home, protection...most of all...she wanted someone who could give her love. frontal right dagger chopped at the ground as her dark pools gathered in her Surroundings

Thick crimson tassles swayed in the gentle breeze. The young scarlet stallion stood 'pon the valley ledge, scanning the land out of boredom. He heaved a sigh and pawed boredly at the soil.
Chasms spotted the new dappled grey belle. Nostrails flared taking in the belle's scent. Daggers left marks in the parchment as he moved forward toward the stranger. With each step he walked with pride, crown raised up and high, banner held up streaming silk behind him.
He halted a few feet from the belle. He tipped his crown toward her, giving her slight respect. Orbs scanned her, deciding wether or not shew as a friend or foe. After a few seconds of silence, he spoke with strong, smooth, charming like lyrics.
" 'ello. I be Aidan, Son of Lord of the Blessed. What be yer blessing?"
Twilighttown - July 31, 2006 05:15 AM (GMT)
she tipped her tiara to return the respect right frontal dagger tearing at the vegataion beneath it.
"thy Blessing Be Champeign"
she was set back a bit by the charming lyrics but not much for her were elegant, smooth, beautiful, and allureing. Black orbs watched him with curiosity and she chopped at the ground below her frontal dagger once more, showing her insecurity and readiness to attack anyone who got any bad ideas

"Tis a pleasure to meet ye, Champeign."
There was something about this belle that drew him toward her. A small cocky smirk spread across the young stallion's maw. Taking a step foward, he extended his muzzle and touched the belle's nape softly. He pulled away and watched her with curious orbs.
"Would ye like a home in my fathers heard?"
Aidan questioned softly. His dark and light side were both fighting inside to break out.. His dark only wanting to claim the belle as his own but his light just wanting to take her to his father and keep her protected. He snorted and shook his crown.

she snorted slightly and extended her neck so the tip of her muzzle touched his shoulder. she took in his masucline scent before stepping back and pawwing at the grass tho now her actions were playful
"It would be wonderful but. what do thee offer me besides a home?"
her voice kept the same sweet allureing tone though she acted much more interested.
"and if it is not to bold to ask, who is your father?"
she shook her neck about a bit before watching him with curious blak orbs again

"I can give ye protection and a good home"
Aidan had made a simallar promise to another but he knew he could protect both. He smirked seeing her playfullness and nipped at her tassels. Half rearing, he nickered to her. He still had a quite a bit of spunk for a two year old.
"My father be Illishar, Lord of the Blessed."
Twilighttown - August 3, 2006 04:57 PM (GMT)
she nickered back and bobbed her head a bit
"I will come with you blessed one"
she spoke with a loyal tone now
"but whose am I, yours, or your fathers?"
she smirked slightly with her curious tone

Illishar trotted into the terrain he knew so well. His paperthins flared as he took in the scent of a stranger and one so familar. His pools grazed `pon the geo and he stopped `pon a group in the distance. His coltine and a femmora. He fought the urge to gallop down and run his son out of the terra, taking the femme for himself. Instead Illishar stayed still and watched the scene played out before him. Sonar pricked and his gaze was averted as he took in another moving towards them. This one too small and graceful to be a challenging stag. Instead it was a stunning dove. Illishar pranced slightly on the spot, perhaps he would take this one for himself. He remained still and watched the other make her way to Aidan.
Badra walked into the terrain slowly. Her hateful pools focused only on Aidan. She had been in the light lands looking for Aidan. Well she had found him. Her pillars came to a halt and her pools took in the two equines before her. Pain and hatred was plain in her vision. Her gaze flickered to the wench as she thought about ripping her to shreds out of spite. She decided not to, the wench had not known therefore her quarrel was with Aidan and no other. Unless the wench became a small threat then she would gladly put her in her place.
Librims parted to form cold words laced with hate and anger.
"I should expect this from a lowly sun kisser."
Badra spat at Aidan.
"Tis fine, ye have made yer choice and now I shall make mine."
She hissed and turned. With another word she took off toward home. Her step faltered slightly as she noticed another not far but relaxed when she saw it was only Illishar. He hadn`t changed at all. Her gaze wandered back to the setting before her as her mind replayed the scene she had watched between Aidan and that wretch.

Aidan smirked at the dove. He was unsure who's she would be. Most likely his fathers because he hadn't wanted to be chased out of the heard yet. He was about to reply when he picked up the scent of Badra. What would she be doing in these lands though? He hadn't thought she would come looking for him. Turning toward her, towers went back at her hated hissed lyrics.
"Badra, this isn't what yer thinking."
He tried to reason with her. Why was she being like this? Had he not promised himself to her and only her? Did his promises mean nothing now? He hadn't intended to break them and still didn't think he had.
"I've made no choice but to be with ye."
Aidan went to move quickly with her but from the corner of his eye he spotted his father. He turned toward his sire and lowered in poll in respect. He watched Badra gallop away and sighed, wanting to run after her. But if he were to go after her now, surly she'd have a dark attack her. All that she felt now was his fault and he would make it up to her soon. His gaze driffted back to his sire as he kept his poll lowered. If Illishar wanted the mare as his own, he wouldn't fight him.
Twilighttown - August 4, 2006 08:24 PM (GMT)
Champeign stepped back and looked at the male at the top of the hill. she backed up again wondering if that was illishar. If it was that is not who she wanted to be with. Aiden promised himself to another mare which made Champeign want to run. Run and not stop. she snorted and looked at Aiden then Illishar again. broken orbs trembling as she decided weather to run or not. she wanted to but couldnt. her legs were to weak. her hind quarters collapsed beneath her and she fell into a sit but forced herself back up onto all fours. "I'm sorry, Aiden" she said in a soft pained tone moving uneasily. gettin ready to run but still unable to.

Illishar watched the others silently. He made no move towards the dove left behind or Aidan. He was old now, too old to chase after femmes when he had Midnight waiting for him at his terrain. He looked at Aidan knowing now he was old enough to leave the herd and start his own family. Pillars slowly stretched out and carried his massive bulk towards the younger equines. He ignored the femme and walked straight to Aidan, moving in between him and the way Badra had gone.
Pools watched his son, his librims not yet moving. Finally he returned his gaze to the path the dark had taken then to his son.
"Aidan, take this mare, forget the other. She is a dark and ye are to be a royal light one day. Badra has no destiny with ye, she is to be Queen of the Darks one day perhaps. The darks would never allow her with a light. Save yerself the grief and take this one, live, and be happy."
Illishar said to his young bantle. He did not wish to see Aidan chase after Badra and surely get killed by a dark. This was his blood and the only part of him that would go on after he died. Aidan was part of the future for the lights.
"I must take my leave now."
He said, rising his voice a little so that the maiden could hear his murmurs as well. A small smile was offered to his son as he turned to leave. He crown dipped in respect to the dove before moving back the way he had come.
equinebabe - August 13, 2006 06:16 AM (GMT)
Orbs became colder as he watched his sire. What was he saying? Aidan could not just forget Badra, it wasn't that simple. Didn't Illishar know that? Snorting, Aidan pawed at the terra slightly, trying to get some of his anger out before he said anything to his sire. That didn't work out so well. He took a step toward Illishar with his head held eye and stared at him.
"I am not light."
He snapped. Now he was getting braver with talking back to him. Aidan knew that he had speed and flexibility on his side, since his sire was getting older. His tones grew harsh and cold as he took another step toward Illishar.
"I cannot just forget Badra! You've got no room to talk there! You and mother were the same. She is dark and you were a light. The heir no less...I'll prove myself a true dark if thats what it takes to be with her."
Aalaya - August 13, 2006 06:31 AM (GMT)
Illishar turned at his son`s challenging tone. He had half a mind to put Aidan in his place. He may be young but he was also arrogant. Illishar was much bigger, stronger, and experienced. His old age was a small limitation on his fighting skills.
"Yer mother wasn`t a heir to the queen of the darks."
He hissed coldly, anger plain in his tone. He stepped closer, looking down `pon his coltine.
"Do ye think Jezebel will really accept ye, a mere light heir for her daughter`s mate?"
He snarled, trying to discourage his son. It was a foolish action to try and become a dark. He was an heir and his place belonged here. He and Midnight had known that for Illishar and they had returned. Illishar could have stayed in the dark lands but he had a duty to the lights.
equinebabe - August 13, 2006 06:40 AM (GMT)
Aidan knew better then to challenge his father like this but anger got the better of him. He glared at him, not backing down at all. He stomped his hoof and flicked his tail. At his father's tones, Aidan glared at him, he would not give her up. Even if that meant leaving the lights.
"I thought ye might understand...But I suppose not. What would ye know about her or I?"
Aidan spat the words at his sire. He wasn't sure where this would lead, nor right now did he care.
"If Jezebel knows what's right for Badra, she'll accpet me...If she doesn't, I'll run away with her and never return. We'll leave you all and not look back."
Aidan's ears flickered toward the mare. His eyes flashed with anger then he turned his back to his father and looked to Champeign. "Ye can reside with me. I'll protect ye from other stags." He told her.

She watched, rather horrified. She felt bad for what she had caused. "I'm so sorry aiden..." she murmered and stepped closer to him. she nudged his neck gently in a second apology. "Thank you so much" she said softly
Soft tender orbs looked to Illishar and she seemed to hide behind Aiden. Both stags scared her to a point but the one that scared her more she could probably run from. orbs turned back to aiden with a soft caring touch her heart still split about the way Badra acted and the fact that she caused it
