Title: Home of the Passed
Description: Eruheran, Legesain and Star Shadow
Saregona - July 2, 2006 02:05 AM (GMT)
Eruheran walked into the clearing of `is barren terrain. Near `is side stood a smaller stag. A colt but not yet a stag. Eruheran smiled and nipped the stag`s side to show they were stopping. `e looked `round then back to `is knew herd member.
"Well Legesain this is my terrain and since ye are no longer a mortal I have welcomed ye into my harem."
`e said proudly. `e watched the stag knowing this new life must be different for `im.
Legesain nodded and stood quietly. `e no longer needed breath nor a heart but it was all there. Hunger was gone but a new aching filled `im instead. Regret, sorrow, and heartache. `e could still feel. `e siad so this was heaven. To `im it was hell, `is life was suppose to be peaceful and complete. Now it was mournful and something was missing. `e sighed and looked `round, perhaps a dark demoness would die soon and `e would have a wench for `imself.

Star Shadow, hellion of iron dappled pelt walks in swiftly, in 'er body 'he felt renewed strengths of 'er past youth, 'er pools which could once again see things clearly drifting all about 'er surroundings, taking in with disbelief the hell around 'er. No curse escapes 'er librims as 'he finds none appropriate enough in 'er throat. Searching gaze catches the form of 'er Shadowed God in front of 'er, and a young chestnut brute at 'is side that 'he did not recognise. 'He trots elegantly to the side of 'er God, 'er flints making hollow beats on the geo, and stops. 'He looks at the two equines, hoping that 'he was not interupting. 'Er mind wanders for a moment back to the mortal world, and 'he thinks of the family that 'he had left behind. "My Shadowed Lord, thank ye for allowing me to reside in your harem." 'He hisses with a respectful nod of 'er tiara, thanking the Dark God for giving 'er this chance to watch over them. 'He missed them so much allready, and it pained 'er that they had to grieve for 'er. 'He takes a closer look at the chestnut brujo, who seemed famliar up close, but 'he could not pin 'is identity for the life of 'er. A memory suddenly races through 'er dreambox, a chestnut hessian blocking 'er exit, 'erself merely a young femmora, and Rebel at 'er side as a flicka. This was the same blood stained czar. 'Legesain...' 'He thinks to 'erself with hatred flickering through 'er vermillion lanterns breifly.

Eruheran`s cran moved into another direction of the wind as `e sensed another in `is lands. The demon snorted and saw it was a femme. `e recognized `er as `he drew closer.
"All true darks shall have thier reward in the end."
`e hissed to `er with a nod. `e turned to Legesain and nudged `im slightly and looked back to Shadow. `is pools saddened slightly, the young King wasn`t who `e used to be.
Legesain noticed another coming. `is sonar pricked slightly as `e realized it was a femme. Regretful soulseekers watched `er movements as `er frame drew closer. `e snorted and turned `is view back to the terrain as `e noticed it was only Shadow. `e was only interested in a possible mate at this point. `e knew by now `he was not that. Bored pools continued to stare ahead, `is frame barely moving as the dark hessain pushed `im.

The shadowed 'ess flicks 'er crown curtly and scrapes 'er flint on the otherworldly geo. 'Er gaze that showed annoyance softens as 'he registers the regret and misery in Legesains dark pools. Guilt arises in 'er and 'he takes a few soundless steps to stand next to 'im, 'er cran below the level of 'is. 'E was, after all, once the King of 'er kind. 'He watches 'is melancholy expression out of the side of 'er gaze, wondering what things this young masc had done to fill 'im with so much pain in a time when 'e was meant to be at peace.

Legesain`s sonar moved slightly as he heard the soft hoofbeats of another. His gaze stayed fixed on the terrain before him. He sighed inwardly as he thought about his short life. His optics flicked to the corner for a few moments, surprised to see Shadow`s form next to him. Her dial was even lowered in respect. Perhaps it was because she was dead. No, she pitied him. Why wouldn`t she? His gaze moved back to the terrain, a small hint of anger cleare in his optics.
OOC: museless

The czarinas orbs take in the animosity of the colt King's glare, and 'he grimaces slightly, 'Now what have I done...?' 'He thinks with confusion. Putting the slight pang of frustration 'he feels to the side, 'he sighs and parts 'er cursers to address 'im,
"Legesain, what tortures yer mind?" 'He asks, 'er feminine voice willing 'im to tell 'er as it is laced with evidence of 'er stubborn and forceful nature.

Legesain`s crown turned slightly and cold optics took in the sight before him. His gaze averted to the geo, wondering if he should tell Shadow anything. He had no reason to. He owed her nothing and after all even in death he was of higher rank. He was once a king...no he was a king. His sister and her pathetic mate did not deserve the title of royalty. He looked at her with no expression. He had no reason to tell her anything yet he had no reason to keep his thoughts from her.
"I miss life, and I hate how is was so cruely taken from me."
He admitted, his words still refused to give hint to any emotions. He was able to tell her his thoughts but he wasn`t ready to sharing his feelings. His gaze was once again ripped from her and moved back to the barren layout before him. Not much to look at, but at least he had something to look at.

'He dips 'er tiara in understanding, 'he too missed 'er life, and 'er beloved family at the Bloody Basin. What 'he wouldn't give just to be able to talk to them again, touch them again, feel the warmth of life running through them, but it would never be so. 'He had been watching them, Rebel with 'er bantle, the grandcolt that 'he never had the chance to meet, 'er only son Colton had a mate, Tybalt was going to begin training as a warrioress soon, and 'er beloved Thunder was taking care of them all, as 'e promised 'e would. 'He sighs as memories flood 'er, and then looks to Legesain once more,
"Ever are there cruel twists of fate for those too young to deserve them, but there is little that one can do when in this state. Imagine the pain I feel everyday watching my babes and Thunder, knowing that I shall never be with them again. We are all stripped of pleasures in our deaths Legesain." 'He says, hoping the wisdom of 'er age would impart some comfort for the brute. 'he looks into 'is pools with 'er own ebony ones full of sincerity,
"I know that it hurts, young King. I know not of your exact pains, for yer pleasures be different to mine, but my pain is no less than the ones of thine." 'He hisses, then too looks up to the land of the Underworld, lifeless and dank, and tainted with the souls of long forgotten equines.
Aalaya - August 13, 2006 02:03 AM (GMT)
Legesain looked at Shadow, still emotionless and guarded.
"So ye think we are meant to be here? Ye wouldn`t return given the chance?"
He asked, curiously. He could feel a smirk fighting to spread `cross his librims yet he held it back. Not yet would he show weakness by letting his emotions become public. Even if he was amused at the moment.
"I know a powerful equine who could grant us the gift of life once more. The gift of immortality for as long as that equine wishes."
He said, his tone low and taunting. Almost like a seductive wench. An offer meant to draw in Shadow with it`s spell. Perhaps this was what it was like making a deal with the devil.
Saregona - August 13, 2006 02:10 AM (GMT)
'He is a bit taken aback by 'is question, and fumbles upon 'er response,
"Er, r-return to the mortal plane? Of course I would if given the chance." 'He scoffs, gathering by the way 'e asked that this was leading somewhere. 'He listens to 'is next words with interest that grew with every syllable, though 'he fought to hide it. 'he remains silent for a moment, trying to decide how best to reply to this tantilising statement that drew in 'er curiosity despite 'erself.
"Who?" 'he asks shortly, one brow raised slightly. 'He knew that Legesain may be playing 'er for 'is own amusement, but 'er desire to be with 'er family again kept 'er hanging on 'is next words, though 'he tried to keep 'er visage as blank as possible.
Aalaya - August 13, 2006 02:25 AM (GMT)
Legesain was pleased at her words. He was sure she was eager and feeling anitcipation on the inside. He had as well after his first dream. When the equine had been nothing more than a shadow that had came to him. See thats how he realized he was still a prophet in death. He was the only one who dreamed.
"Well ye should know m`dear. Ye called the equine yer own."
He said, maintaining his slow tone. He would let Shadow hang on his every word for now. His librims parted once more to reveal whom held the unthinkable power.
"Why it be yer own Hope`s Rebellion."
He said, his tone low but quickened at the reveal Shadow`s adopted daughter. He allowed a smirk to finally play `cross his facade, letting Shadow see he was amused. The smirk disappeared and his gazed remained on her as he awaited her reply to this new information.
Saregona - August 13, 2006 03:34 AM (GMT)
'Er features adopted a look of suprise when Legesain reveals this to 'er, and 'he opens 'er librims a few times without saying anything, unable to find words, until finally 'he managed to spit out a shocked hiss,
"M-my Rebel? 'He can do this?" 'He hisses, disbelief mingled with 'er suprise. 'Er gaze bores into 'is, silently demanding more information 'pon this point.
Aalaya - September 10, 2006 02:13 AM (GMT)
Legesain allowed a satisfied and smug look to travel `pon `is features. Royal crown was thrown skyward in a futile effort to rid `is visage of the small annoying pest that never cease to crowd `round `is facade. Legesain`s nape bent slowly to bit at the dirt `pon `is shoulder as `is gentle tongue washed away the impurity of `is pelt.
Soul seekers patiently turned to `is victim. `e deliberatly took `is sweet time, hoping to leave eclipsed seductress in suspense. `is windows held as amused look as `e searched `er`s for `is victory. Unsure if `he was getting frustrated or was hanging in suspense `e inwardly sighed. `is librims parted slightly as a low hiss escaped.
"Her power allows her to do so. She is very...valuable."
Was all `e offered to the warrioress. `e had no intention of telling `er the whole story yet. No even Rebel quite knew the limi8ts of `er birthright powers.`e in time would show `er and in time `he would free `im from this hell. This place that forbid `im to get `is rightful revenge `pon the pitful mortals that dared defy `im.
Saregona - September 26, 2006 04:22 AM (GMT)
((Legesain has allready been brought back....curses. But Shadow can still say something to Rebel in that thread right?))
'He blinks 'er dark vermillion orbs, 'er sharp mind thnking quickly. 'He feels a sudden pang of sorrow when 'he realises that 'he did not know of 'er daughter's power, and wonders hurtfully why Rebel did not call upon 'er to tell 'er so. 'He pushes these feelings aside and meets Legesains frightening, souless gaze with 'er strong wise one. In the past few seconds 'he had decided what 'he wanted, and was now determined to get it.
"Ye intend to have Rebel ressurect ye." 'he begins feircely, knowing without need for confirmation that is was true,
"I want to go back to the mortal plane also. I was taken before my time, I have a young daughter with no dam to care for 'er. I want to live again." 'he says, cold determination and ferocity etched in 'er vocals. In frustration 'he stamps 'er hoof on the hell's terrain and then continues,
"Tell me what I must do, where must I go?" 'He demands. Surely Legesain wouldn't be so stupid as to play with 'er. It was in bad taste to make fun out of keeping a mother and mate from their brood and lover.
