Dimitri moved towards the cool pool of the casade and bent his cran to drink. His tassles fell forward and covered his orbs with their light veil. He closed his orbs for a moment, wondering if the day had just been a dream.

Beauty slowed to a amble as she came closer to the waterfall. Seeing Dimitri drinking she stopped for a moment. her orbs took him in and she smiled happily. She could never in her wildest dreams had thought that this would happen to her. Half of her still fought it. But that side was becoming weaker by the moment. A sudden figure flashed in her dreambox.

a tall white equine stood before her. Beauty knew instantly it was her late sire. He turned to her and his orbs were filled with sadness and anger. the fae knew that she was betraying her kind, but her heart told her not to care. The darks had only brought her pain and suffering, emotions and feelings that Beauty had thought were the norm. It had only been this day that she had realised that there was a better life outside the damned lands.

Smiling she shook her tiara and stepped forward to the stag by the water.

Hearing her enter Dimitri turned walked to her. He reached her and nuzzled her gently, taking in her scent again. He could smell other stags on her and felt a jolt of jealousy that he quickly tried to squash. He looked at her and smiled, stepping back he let her enter the secluded spot and followed after her.

Beauty moved past him and took a quick drink before turning to face him. She sighed softly and yawned slightly. Stepping forward she looked at Dimitri and touch her mug to his.
How long have you been in these lands?
she asked, wanting to know more about him.

Dimitri smiled.
Oh, not long. I was able to find a home in the tornado plains. but found it tiresome so decided to explore. You?
he asked equally as intrigued in her as she was in him.

Beauty sighed.
I have been here a time.
She spoke quietly.
I was claimed by the late king Legesain as a herd mare, than another stag, Phantom. I felt lost and lonely which brought me on my travels and too you.
she said, extending her mug and licking his cheek.

Dimitri snorted and watched her, angrily perhaps that two stags had got to her before he had. But it seemed that neither had caught her heart, which made him fill with joy.
I love you Beauty
He whispered softly into her auds, unsure of what her reaction would be.

Beauty looked at him as he spoke.
Love me?
she asked, unsure of how to respond.

Dimitri nodded.
I love you, Beauty and I want to be your mate.
he said licking her cheek lovingly and nuzzling her passionately.

Beauty sighed, and licked him in return. She did not know if it was love she felt for Dimitri, for if one has not experienced the emotion before there is no precedent to compare to. But, beauty reasoned, if this is love it was something she wanted for feel for the rest of her life.
A fish may love a bird, Dimitri. But where would they live?
she asked almost sadly, knowing there was no way she would return to the dark lands and doubting any neutral would allow a dark to live in his lands.

The stag sighed slightly.
Let us not think og such things.
he whispered gently, nudging her lovingly.
Let's just enjoy the tranquility of the moment.
he continued with a small laugh and moved back to the water's edge and with his fore hoof, splashed some of the cool, moonlit water at Beauty.

Beauty nodded and squealed as the cool water hit her warm pelt. She leapt away, before raced towards Dimitri, head down and barreling into him, throwing him deep into the pool. She had never been a mare to do things by halves. Prancing happily along the shore she snorted down at Dimitri in victory.

Dimitri looked up at her through his sodden forelock. Smiling happily he threw his cran and and swam towards the edge of the pool. Climbing out he shook himself off, drops of water flying everywhere. then with a cocked smile he trotted to Beauty and nuzzled her.

Beauty snorted and threw her tiara. She whickered happily and nuzzled Dimitri in return. Her white pelt glistened in the rising moonlight and Beauty shivered slightly. She drew herself closer to Dimitri and drew her cran against his nape.

Beauty licked Dimitri and nuzzled him.
Dimitri we shall never be together. You know that don’t you.
she said with sadness that could not be hidded.

The stag watched her for a moment then nodded
Aye, I know.
he licked her in returned and nuzzled her.

Beauty flicked her banner and turned to Dimitri.
A foal will secure our love forever.
she whispered, nuzzling him.
that way we shall live together forever.
She nuzzled him once more and trotted away, hoping beyond hope that he would follow.
