LeapOfFaith - August 17, 2007 12:17 PM (GMT)
The fae three beated into the lands of the Lights ears pricked forward listening for any signs of life amungst this land that she wish to call home soon. The fae came to a halt in the center of the field eyes scan the horizon hoping someone might come to clam her, she is of Royal blood back in her home land which she chose to leave in search of a love. Tiara held high as she waiting for a brute to come forth and try and tame her heart. Faith was hoping that she could posably become a Royal once more she just shruged her shoulders and sighed then she bent her tiara down and nibled on some grass, she was starting to get lonely around here all by herself.

[.x.]The golden summer sun shone down brightly upon the lands, bathing the lands in its warm, rich glow. The trees waved almost merrily as the wind rushed past the leaves and branches. It was quite a while before this perfect oasis was broken. A dark grey stallion stepped carefully through the lands, his flints creating a rhythmic tune upon the ground as he walked. The wind tugged playfully at his tresses, as if it was pulling him along. He complied to its wishes and altered his direction so as to follow the wind, noticing the change in the structure of the land. A smile broke upon his maw as a pair of doves fluttered over his head and settled upon the gnarled bough of a huge oak tree quite a distance away. The ground below the tree was dappled with spots of sunlight where the sun had managed to break through the thick foliage. It look so cool, so inviting. He moved forward, wanting to bathe in those pools of light. His pillars gained impulsion, hooves showing above the long grasses as his high-stepping gait carried him to the tree. His eyes lidded as a wave of refreshing coolness broke all over his body. A deep sigh was expelled from his lungs in contentment, and a smile played upon his librims as he relished in the glorious brightness of the day. Yet something wasn't right. He opened his eyes suddenly. The smile faded from his maw. Once again, he was alone. There was nothing beside him except an echoing stillness. That was the only thing he longed for in his life. Not a land of his own, not a huge band of femmes for him to take his pick of. Just one.

The twirling path of a butterfly drew his gaze. He followed its colourful body for a while, before it disappeared from his gaze, and the gap in his vision was replaced by another creature. But this time it was a femme. Another equid. Caddock snorted in surprise. It was like fate. He moved forward, pillars hurrying among the terrain towards her. He moved quicker now, and his paces changed to three beats, graceful and swift upon the ground. His banners streamed back from his curvature, the movement like rippling water upon an ocean. He reached her an instant later. His crown lowered silently to her in a sign of respect, hoping he had not startled her with his sudden appearance. His orbs locked with hers as the silence between them stretched, allowing her the first move. [.x.]

The faes tiara raised as she thought that she heard a rustleing in the woods eyes searching the trees for a sign of life. Then all at once a brute came upon her like a streak of lightning she snorted in protest and reared up and tost her tiara silver mane tost all around her then she let her hooves come back down near her as a warning but she stood her ground. The fae eyed the brute for a moment then deciding that he was on her side she lowerd her tiara in respect towards him. "Good day sir" she spoke softly she hoped that she didn't come off as intimedateing twards him Faith was always trying to be kind twards everone.

[.x.]His wild, dark eyes gazed upon the femme with a silent reverence. He marvelled in her beauty, and as his gaze followed the slender curves of her frame he began to wonder whether she was bought to him by fate. He was a great believer in that things would happen if they were meant, and this just seemed like too much of a coincidence to not be divine intervention. The soft whicker he intended as a greeting had only just flown out of his mouth before the femme in front of him reared up and screamed out a warning to him. He backed off hurridely, feeling her hoof connect with his cran. He stumbled slightly, slightly dazed by her rear. His head swimming, Caddock blinked and shook his cran, his vision slowly coming back into focus. A sharp snort came from his nares in an angry warning, the pain shooting through his crown causing his short temper to boil. Resisting the strong urge to lash back out at the mare, knowing he had probably just startled her, Caddock witheld his motions and waited for her to calm down. The moment she did so, he let a obviously disapproving snort come from his vocals, letting her know what he thought of her actions. The stallion was generally good-hearted, but his temper was one of the only character flaws he possessed. It only took something completely stupid, like something waking him up in the middle of the night, to set him off. It had taken all his will to stop himself striking out at the mare when she had reared up.

Yet, despite all the annoyance bubbling through his veins, the stag found himself slowly being calmed as his eyes connected with hers. Mind awash with a strong sense of cool, Caddock breathed out loudly and drew his cran up a few centimeters. Her words reached him, soft and gentle on the summer breeze. "'Tis a pleasure to meet you Miss," His words were laced with a respect that could not be translated into actions. The brujo straightened himself upon and drew his banner over his flanks softly, awaiting her reply. [.x.]

Faith didn't mean to hit him her eyes filled with tears "I am sorry sir you frightend my" she spoke softly again. Her tiara lowerd once more she also noticed that he had the same pelt hue as hers... well almost she thought to herself she walked around him then stoped in front of him once more then stared at his eyes hers were calm and cool she let out a low sigh she was hoping that he would claim her! She wanted to find out what he was like in his home. Her tiara lifted up then her mane got in her face , then she sent them a flying when she shook her tiara to clear it from her face.

[.x.]As the silence between them stretched into nothingness, Caddock found his thoughts turning to the past. His history was not as troubled as some that he knew, but it was not free of conflict and misery either. He was what some would call a 'half-breed', that is, the crossing of a Sacred and a Cursed. His dam was Alizay, the famed friend of Aalaya who had discovered the lands decades ago when they had fled the old herd. He had held great respect for his mother until the day she died, and his respect lingered deep within his mind still. It was her warrior influence that was the source of his short temper and often rather violent responses to things which irked him. But it was not his mother who, in his opinion, was the flaw in his lineage. It was his father. He had gone by the name of Adonis - the very name itself caused disgust to form within his mind. He had forced himself upon Alizay when she was taking a stroll through the Great Plains. And so, he had come to be. Ever since he had found out his lineage his had wondered whether his dam would have loved him more had he have been the son of her lover, not the bastard coltine of that rapist. Although deep within his heart he knew that she did not bedgrudge him for something he had no control over, but it still did not prevent him doubting her. And so, he had found his father, confronted him, and eventually smote him into the dust. Caddock supposed his decaying carcass still lay where he fell, silent and unmoving as the sands of time took its toll on his body.

He jerked back to reality with a sharp bump as he realised her eyes were filled with tears. A pang of guilt suddenly overtook him as he realised it was probably his angry response to her natural reaction that had caused the weeping. He strode forward quickly, whickering a apologetic call to her in an attempt to comfort her. His mug extended to nuzzle her, but she had already moved away, and was circling him slowly. His cran followed her concentric path as he stood there, legs still, allowing her what seemed like a scrunity of his very insides. His attention was turned from her to a cool dribble of red liquid that flowed freely down his skull, coming to a halt on his forehead. Wondering whether she had noticed it or not, Caddock quickly flipped his long forelock over the stain, hiding it from her vision. As she came to a halt he took it upon himself to act. He strode forward confidently, and then nipped her rump ever-so-softly in claimage. He felt that they belonged together. It was a strange feeling - as they had only just met, but Caddock felt in his heart it was the right thing to do. It was like she had been brought to him by some unseen spirit. And for that, he would be eternally thankful.[.x.]

LeapOfFaith - August 17, 2007 03:01 PM (GMT)
The fae felt him touch her rump, in return she niped at his shoulder in responce to his bite. A playful smile danced upon her face, then she danced around and tossed her tiara somemore as she laughed then for a split second she rocked back on her hounches then shot off like a rocket she looked back to see if he would come along then she faced forward once more and just ran for the fun of it she loved the feel of the wind flowing through her mane she closed her eyes for a split second, her powerful muscles moved swiftly she slowed just a bit waiting on him to catch up with her, she had on a playful smile as she watched him come along side her.

[.x.] Freedom - August 22, 2007 09:18 PM (GMT)
[.x.] Caddock watched her casually as she frolicked in the almost burning midday sun, feeling no desire at all to join her in her her games. A sigh of contentment escaped his lips as she bucked and raced around somewhat childishly, extremely glad that she did not expect him to join in with the game. Instead, he stood lazily underneath the thick canopy of the oak tree, lidding his pools and relishing the cool feeling that was slowly trickling down his coat as he was shielded from the sun. His mind closed to the noise of the real world, the stallion allowed himself to drift off into a daydream, a almost embarassingly vacant expression now showing upon his features. But something was missing from his fantasy. Her. That thought alone was almost enough to force his eyes open, and coupled with the clatter of her hoofbeats on the dried out ground the brute was finally dragged out of his fantasy and back to reality. His eyes flew open suddenly, as if he had woken up after a deep sleep only to find himself in a different place, although he had been aware of the mare all of the time. It was annoying how his fantasies were always better than the real world. Shoving those thoughts to the back of his mind, he found himself taking more and more interest in his newly claimed mare. She was beautiful - there was no doubt about that - but what was she like inside? Beauty was only skin deep, as far as he was concerned. Most of the so called 'beautiful' mares he had met during his time in these lands had been complete b.itches, to put it bluntly. Self-obsessed little wenches, not sparing a thought for anyone else but themselves. Yet he supposed looks did matter, in their own little way, and there was a choice between two mares with similar personalities, he would choose the better-looking one. It was completely unfair of him to think like that, and that he knew, but it was only natural for males to think like that, and who was he to change what nature intended?

His stride lengthened from a non existent amble to a slow, loping stride that gradually caught up to hers, as although she was racing around like, well, a fool, she was dashing backwards and forwards in no particular direction so it was easy to gain on her. It suddenly occured to him he didn't even know her name yet. Damn you Caddock, you silly brute, you claim a mare and don't even have the decency to ask for a name? His thoughts came unbidden from his brain, suprising himself by the strength of them. He didn't usually give a d.amn about what others thought of him, but in his opinion it was important to make a good first impression on this femme. His lips parted in the intention of asking for a name, but before he could even say 'what...', she was gone. His dark eyes sought for her quickly, and he found her a few paces away, galloping up and down like she had just discovered she had legs. Well yippee for her. He couldn't even be bothered to chase after her so, again, he settled down, tranferring his weight onto his hind legs as he rested. A melodic hum flew from his mouth in an attempt to pass the time as he waited, quite obviously bored. As she mare continued to prance around like a complete ninny, Caddock wondered how long it would take for her to notice this. Knowing it was probably going to be a while, the stallion tapped a hoof idly, waiting for her to approach him. [.x.]

Faith came back twards him in a kinda of slow trot which she hoped looked good for Caddock. She loved the way that the sun shone on her white pelt she thought that it made her look like an angel which come to think of it her moms name is Angel Standing By which most equines called her Angel, some even thing that Faith and her mom are really Angels! Faith stoped in front of him now that she stoped running around she then droped her tiara in a respectful bow twards Caddock, then she looked up at him with a seductive smile. so what shall we do now M'Lord? the fae asked with a smile still on her face, Faith wonderd if she had any affect on Caddock what so ever.

[.x.] Freedom - August 30, 2007 09:19 PM (GMT)
[x.] As the sun beamed brightly down upon the ground, Caddock yawned tiredly and flicked his nape in such a way his mane flipped away from his eyes, where it had been tickling him. He blinked slightly and returned his attentions to Faith, who was still racing around like a yearling. Ah well. He closed his orbs and allowed himself to drift off into a light doze, yet his senses stayed attuned to the world around him. In the distance he could hear the femme's hoobeats thundering on the ground, and, with a pang of annoyance, he could hear them getting closer. His brown eyes opened to see the alabaster mare trotting toward him in a rather seductive way, a small smirk present upon her kissers. Caddock found himself grow rather uncomfortable as she neared him. She didn't even know his name and yet they had moved onto this! Yet he resisted the strong urge to back away. Why? The answer was simple. He didn't want to blow it with her, as he had done so many times with the mares he had claimed. He had a rather strange personality in the fact that he wasn't really like a typical Sacred at all. Although he certainly looked the part, with his flowing, flaxen banners, and could be more gentelmanly and charming than any equid could, he could also be bloody hard to live with. He could be extremely grumpy, and a sharp tongue that he used all too often. It could only be his father that had passed these traits on to him, as his mother was as sweet and gentle as a spring breeze, a fact that the brujo had no doubt about whatoever.

Faith's pelt rippled over her flesh as she moved, and the way she moved was so fluid, so graceful that Caddock found himself entranced by her footsteps. He followed every pound of her hoof with almost eager eyes, and, when she halted in front of him, it took more than a moment for him to regain his senses. In fact, it took so long he didn't realise what she had said until a few minutes after, when he must have looked a complete idiot for not answering her. He silently cursed himself for falling under her influence, and bit his lip as he wondered how the hell to answer her. It was all too obvious the type of thing she had in mind, yet Caddock had to desire at all to engage in such activies with her. For now, anyway. He reminded himself of this with a small smile that slipped away from his kissers in a moment, only to be replaced by the slightly grumpy look that was there so often now it was almost becoming a permanent addition to his features. He made to move back a few steps, but there was something in Faith's gaze that prevented him from moving. It was a vulnerability that Caddock could not bear to harm, and, judging by the fact she had started crying over such a little thing as whacking him in the head, it wouldn't be hard to hurt her feelings. He didn't want to set her off - emotional mares were definately not his thing. He didn't have a bloody clue what to do with them, talking about all this 'feelings' crap. He was a stag, and he didn't understand all the complicated things that went on within a mares mind. There was just to much happening at one time to get his head round, which was probably why he stayed away from them as much as he could.

"I don't know. We could return to my home, I suppose..."

He speech faltered as Caddock attempted to think of something a little more substantial than his previous answer. He couldn't think of anything. What a surprise. He turned to Faith and gave her a half apologetic glance, wondering what she was thinking. [.x.]

LeapOfFaith - September 4, 2007 06:15 PM (GMT)
Faith still smiled at Caddock, seeing as she had an affect on him made her want to do something else but she didn't know what else to do. Her eyes still looking at him in a sexual way sme move forward letting her body touch his then she looked up at him and smiled once more. she heard him speak about going to somewhere else, "Sure that would be nice to get out of here and to somewhere else!" she said as she laughed slightly. Faith was still hoping that there were no other lead mare that had taken Caddock heart away from him, she was hoping to become his lead mare! Faith was to scared to ask him just yet seeing that she was kinda on his good side for a few seconds.

[.x.] Freedom - October 9, 2007 09:06 PM (GMT)
[.x.]His flesh twitched as Faith brushed past him, leaving a strangely lingering sensation in her wake. Caddock sidestepped away from her nervously, staring determinedly at the floor as he did so. A flaxen forelock obscured his vision, but out of the corner of his eye he could see her staring at him. Judging purely on body language alone, it was quite obvious what she wanted to do to pass the time, but it definitely was not what he wanted to do. Resisting the urge to back away even further as her body touched his yet again, Caddock flicked his tail in agitation, terribly uncomfortable with the position he had been thrust into. He may have been young in years, but the czar had the mental age of a grumpy old stallion. He could be as unpredictable as the wind, from irked and incredibly annoyed to as charming and gentle as any generic Light stag. This was primarily the reason why Caddokc kept mostly to himself, away from the squabbles and skirmishes of the alliances. To him, even living seemed like a chore, just like the old stallion to whom he likened himself, the only thing which brought him any kind of pleasure was eating.

He heard her speak about going somewhere else, feeling a cold wash of relief settling over him as she did so. At least then he would be able to escape her incessant nagging, for a while at least, He would snap in a minute if he didn't get away from her, so Caddock merely whickered a quiet response, tilting his cran in a vague gesture which was to indicate that she was to follow him back to his home. He glided swiftly into a rapid three-beats, pillars eating up the geo as quickly as a swarm of pirahnas devoured the lfesh from the unlucky bones of some poor animal who had fallen into the quiet deathtraps which laid, silent and unmoving, awaiting their next victim. He drew his alabaster flag over his dappled flanks for a moment before concentrating once again on gaining a few precious moments of solitude, the dust swirling in his wake making an effective barrier from himself and the mare who seemed to be incredibly attached to him already.
