Anything else: I remade CD's sister site Legends of the Night so check it out. Plot:
The land wasn't always dark and twisted. It wasn't always stained with the blood of innocent and the mark of greed. Once the land had been lush and prosperous. It was a time when a good, kind, and just King ruled. The equines were happy over the years, they never thought this nirvana would become a hell. But it was bound to happen. The King was becoming old and slow in his years. Due to his good rule none challenged him, they simply stood by him as his health began to fail. Though the equines were worried. The old King had left behind no heir and a new King would have to be chosen.

The was when a young stag came to be known. His name was Nu'man and he was ruthless. He was a son of a wander, result of a forcing. His dam, though scarred by her misfortune, was respected by many for her knowledge in healing and great kindness. But Nu'man took after his sire. He was cold and mean and never socialized well. He was always off on his own and never had a kind word to spare, even to his own dam. But then just before the King began to weaken there was an accident. Down by the gorge where Nu'amn's dam like to graze she was found dead. It seemed she had slipped over the side of the gorge and broke her neck.

Afterwards Nu'man began to make friends with some of the warriors. Soon he was often seen lurking the forest, followed by a group of warriors and warrioress. There were rumors about secret meetings held deep within the forest. Soon the others began to notice the warriors change. They were cold and unattached, bent on only following what seemed like their new leader. Their foals were presented to Nu'man instead of the King. In fact some acted as if the old King was no longer their ruler. Then the fateful night came.

Early one morning, the sun began its rise to the sky. Something wasn't right about this day. The sky wasn't its normal pink and orange. Instead it was red, blood red. Some of the elders where uneasy about this change while the young and careless coltines and flickas galloped around, bucking and biting at each other. But even more bad omens were to come. The King had taken a turn for the worst. His health was dissipating and most feared these were his last days. As usual Nu'amn and his group of followers were hidden deep within the forest. They had been coming home less and less though many of the herd didn't mind this. In fact the hoped Nu'amn would just take the group and reside in the forest. But little did they know that Nu'man planned to return.

Later that night, when all was asleep, Nu'man did just that. With his group of fighters Nu'man slaughtered the King and many that stood in his way. The warriors fought bravely against Nu'man, but he had more fighters. The killing continued until there was no one left. They had either escaped, was killed, or had promised to follow Nu'man. It was then Nu'man declared himself King. Later, however, Nu'man discovered how some of the lights had escaped into hidden lands and the strongest of the warriors had claimed the harsh lands of the west. Unsure of where the lights land was he figured the rebels would know. So he sent a lone warrior to receive information and hopefully find out where both lands were located. So now it's your turn to go back, back before Aalaya and Crescent Dreams. Go back to when legends were made and fates were created.
