The world of Sverre has no alliances based on attitude or nature. Equine seperate themselves according to their taste in land. The Lowlander's, for example, prefer the sparse, salty coastal regions. Whereas the Highlanders barely venture from their lofty mountain homes. This does not mean that they will not mingle. A mare with Highlander ideals may find herself claimed by a Lowlander stallion. That Lowlander stallion may be cruel or kind, it does not matter. All that matters is that he loves his beach and his dunes, and therefore the Highlander mare must learn to cope. Perhaps, one day, she may find a way to escape.
