Title: Shai'tan
Description: Dark Heir

Kasumi - July 11, 2007 05:40 PM (GMT)
Pain surged through her, making the vixen grunt. Her pillars began to get weak. From walking the long distance and the burden she was carrying. Nervously, she started to pace. Her mate was often absent from her presence. And for what? Had she not given him what he wanted? His heir? Was that not enough? The pain began to get stronger with each passing second. Kasumi slowly walked over to stand under the shade of a tall tree. She hardly had enough time to make it there before dropping to her knees.

Velvets parted and she let out a loud call to her mate. Where was he in her time of need? Did he not care for her anymore? Maybe she was just jumping to conclusions. He was probably on his way by now. She didn't need to worry. Closing her eyes and rolling over onto her side, she began to push. She never imagined it to be so hard. As another contraction pulsed through her body, a painful scream escaped her lips.

A few hours later, a blood red colt lay next to her. The exhausted Queen sat up and reached over, licking the foal in a lovingly way. Her breathing was somewhat slowing down but she was to tired to stand now. She gazed upon her foal with fondness. Hopefully, the King would be as proud.

Aalaya - July 11, 2007 06:25 PM (GMT)
The dark god made his way down a familiar path, through the forest. Up ahead was a beautiful meadow that he knew too well. It was the birthing field that mares came to have their foals in peace. Occassionally one would be with a protective mate. This land had once been a place of shelter, no evil could enter here. But this terrain along with the other lands had been tainted by the dark events of the past. Nothing was safe anymore. But the brute was not here to see the birth of another one of his bastards. No, instead he was here to see the birth of his enemy's brat. Of his own King's brat. Eruheran would have killed Legesain himself if the bastard hadn't went and made himself immortal. A shame really, Legesain had really messed up plans by arriving back into the mortal planes. Well it wasn't only the fact that Legesain blood had been spread that brought him here. Eruheran had seen this as a perfect opportunity for revenge. Perhaps he could even coax Legesain back into Hades, where he belonged. Eruheran snorted softly as he emerged from the dark woods and into the brillant sunlight. Though even so, his step did not falter. He continued proudly to where the young wench laid with her bantling. His glare focused on the young colt lying on the grass. A heir. Eruheran tossed his cran in pleasement. Legesain would get more riled up over a future heir than just a flicka.

"Well well, what do we have here? A new dark heir for my race?"

The brute came to a stop a few feet away. His dagger stretched out and tore up the earth before him in anticipation. His tone was what a mortal could recognize as being pleased, but his smirk was sly. He was not here to just welcome this royalty into the world. Still he had to give Legesain his props. Jezebel had mothered twins bastard brats that turned out to be flickas. Legesain had gained a heir on his first try. The dark god couldn't help but glower at the colt, a spitting image of his evil sire. Yes, he would make his race proud if he grew up to be like Legesain. A respected king, though that respect may be gained out of fear, it was still respect.

"What did you curse him?"

The devil snapped at the mare, hoping that she had at least enough sense to give him a strong name. Kings needed strong names, for everyone would remember them throughout history. He watched as the brat began to rise and attempt to stand. Seeing as the dam still laid on the ground he gently helped the brat stand upon his limbs. This was his future king after all. Perhaps with some training Eruheran could use the colt to his advantage.

Kasumi - July 11, 2007 07:18 PM (GMT)
Kasumi nuzzled the colt affectionately. He was a spitting image of his sire and as his orbs opened and looked up at her, she was taken aback. Crimson eyes, just like Legesain. Speaking of him, where was her mate? He still hadn't shown up. She began to worry slightly. It would be best if they left now, so not to get into any trouble. The presence of another beast put her on alert.

Kasumi looked up at the evil brute and scowled. She quickly got to her feet. Even if she was tired, she wasn't going to let her guard down with this brute. Not when it was only her and her newborn. As the brute helped her colt stand she bared her teeth and went to bite him. Miss or hit, it didn't matter, she wanted him away from Shai'tan. Towers flattened back to her skull and she moved quickly in front of her colt. How dare he touch Shai'tan! The name meant Satan, she was sure Legesain would approve. Velvets parted and she let out a hiss directed toward the brute.

"Not like it's any of your business, but he is cursed Shai'tan."

Aalaya - July 12, 2007 05:31 PM (GMT)
The dark god smirked as he easily dodge's the wench's attempt to bite. He snapped in warning, demanding authority. Didn't the wretch recognize her own god. He only moved closer as the vix placed herself in between Eruheran and the brat. He snorted at the name. It fit the bastard well. The only question is would he live up to it's meaning? Yes the foal had a future, unlike his sire. Legesain would not and could not rule the Underworld forever. And Eruheran had to make sure of that. The hellion smirked arrogantly, a smirk that could be recognized as one smiliar to Legesain's. His snarl deepened at the wretch's next words. It was unwise to anger a god. Something this vix needed to learn.

"I believe it is my business. I have every right to know about him. After all his soul is mine and he will grow up to serve my will."

The god said with a cold calmness. Hopefully the femme would take the hint and show some respect. With a slight toss of his cran his gaze focused on the coltine. He would have to make this quick, he was sure the sire of this brat was on his way here.

Shai'tan glared up at the strange stag, something inside him told him this wasn't his sire. He snorted and squeeled a little when the brute helped him to stand but accepted the help just the same. He was nearly knocked off balance as his dam rushed to get in between the stag and him. He snorted and nipped his mother's haunches angrily. All the same Shai'tan moved closer to his dam and snuggled up to her side. He was sure this stallion was some kind of threat. If not why would his dam be acting this way?

Kasumi - July 12, 2007 06:36 PM (GMT)
Kasumi didn't flinch as he snapped at her in warning. She ignored him as he demanded authority, how much harm could he really cause her? Even if she got into some trouble, her mate would be coming soon and would protect her. Towers remained pinned at the beast. She ddin't move away as he moved closer, she only snarled in disgust. She didn't care who he was, not that she even knew. Nobody would dare mess with the Queen or heir, if they knew Legesain. Her tone was cold and spiteful.

"His soul will not be yours, bastard. He will grow up to be the rightful King."

Tail flicked Shai'tan's rump gently, in somewhat of a warning not to nip at her. The vixen shifted her weight, turning her attention back to the brute. She moved her hind end, trying to get Shai'tan to move. Just incase this brute decided to attack, she wanted Shai'tan to run to safty.

The blood hued bastard of the night slowly traveled into the birthing lands. He had never been here before, so curiousity over took him as he gazed around him. It seemed more like a light terra, peaceful and safe. He supposed that was for the better since his heir would be brought into the world here. The reason for him being here at this very moment. His queen was giving birth to their firstborn. A foaling he had to be present at. However, he feared he was a little late, given the fact he had been held up earlier. His nares flared as he searched the wind for a sign that his wench had passed through here. He tossed his cran as his question was answered and took off at a sudden gallop towards the scent. He came to a sliding stop as Kasumi stood in the distance. He trotted proudly over to see a young colt standing beside her. But there was an unwelcomed guest in their midst. His gaze slowly moved to the darkened brute a few feet away. Legesain now stood beside Kasumi and flicked his tail in annoyance. Eruheran had obviously came to see the future dark King, or torment Legesain. The dark god just could not seem to accept the fact that Legesain had escaped his grasp.

"You may want to bow to your god Kasumi."

Legesain hissed without taking his gaze off of the ashened brujo, putting an emphasis on your. Eruheran no longer controlled his soul, he was no longer his god. But he did still control Kasumi's soul and the result of her afterlife. It would be unwise for her to anger him. With a snort he turned and walked slowly to the bantle, his eyes sweeping proudly over the foal. The young one looked just like his sire, yes this was to be his heir. Legesain knew he had to protect his future, another wary gaze was thrown at the god at this thought. Legesain lipped the foal's mane playfully before returning to Kasumi's side. His head bowed slightly as his cheek nuzzled against her shoulder gratefully. He was no fool and knew to reward Kasumi for her loyalty and bringing his heir into the lands. His cran raised to her sonar and parted his librims so that only she may hear his words. He wanted Eruheran to take no more part in this happy day.

"His name M'Love?"

Eruheran watched as the bay brute emerged from the distance finally. It was about time the sire came to protect his family. His gaze lingered as the bastard spoke at first outloud and then softly into his lover's ear. Now was no longer the time to approach Legesain's queen. He turned to leave, pausing as if to say he would return. The dark god's gaze drifted to the coltine, a prize that was just out of his reach. His mind quickly turned as words formed, ready to be said. Anything to make Legesain's mistress trust him less. He would need some trust when he confronted her later. So with those final words he disappeared, sure he had ruined the couples happy moment.

"Yes enjoy this moment when you are all together. Mark my words Legesain, your betrayal will not go unpunished."

Kasumi - July 18, 2007 06:57 AM (GMT)
The vixen's harks flickered to the side hearing hoofbeats. She tore her gaze away from the damned beast in front of her and off to the distance. Her eyes seemed to lighten up as Legesain made his way over. A soft nicker escaped her vocals as she now ignored the others presence. She saw the hate pouring from Legesain and could only wonder what had happened between the two.

Kasumi's eyes snapped to the beast. God? He was the God? She snorted but lowered her poll slightly. She wasn't going to give him full respect, nor was she going to be disrespectful. A soft smile made up her features as the King looked over their foal with pride. As he moved back over to her and nuzzled her, she nipped at him lovingly. Words spilled from her maw, proudly.

Shai'tan.

Harks pinned at the brute as he turned to leave. Thank goodness."Mark my words Legesain, your betrayal will not go unpunished." The words kept repeating themselves over and over in her head. What had the dark God meant? She looked over to Shai'tan and gave him a small nip on the rump in a somewhat playful/loving manner. Raising her head, she stepped closer to her mate and brought her velvets closer to his crown. A soft whisper formed in the way of lyrics, drifted to his towers.

Legesain, what did he mean?

Aalaya - July 18, 2007 07:19 AM (GMT)
Kasumi's soft pearls upon his unblemished flesh brought him back to reality as his gaze moved away from his old god to his new family. Time to put things that were in the past in the past. No longer would he fight with Dancer over things that could have been or ponder what the dark god had in store for him. No he would protect and raise this colt while ridding this land of lights. No, he would need help in protecting his heir and queen. He needed a loyal band of followers to remain with them in his hell. Much needed to be changed. The future started now, Legesain was here to see to it. His sonar tipped towards Kasumi as she spoke his son's name. A fitting name, and he would become a true devil. His crimson pools wandered over the young form of himself. His genes were strong in this foal, the young male even had his sire's optics.

"Shai'tan."

Legesain repeated, as if trying out the foreign name on his own tongue. Yes it fit. He nuzzled the young coltine again, laughing slightly as the colt lost his balance for a moment before correcting himself. He snorted and kicked out at the stag, as if he could take on the King and win any day. The bantle had temper and pride to match. Legesian did not acknowledge the god's disspearance, he ignored the parting words that were spoken. Though he could not ignore them for long. His cran turned to gaze at his mate as she questioned him on the meaning behind the god's words. In truth Legesain was not entirely sure what the god had meant, Eruheran seemed to have a blood feud beginning with his family for him just leaving the Underworld. Or maybe because he had abandoned Eruheran as his god. Either way, Legesain chose to ignore the situation and painted a slight reassuring smile upon his facade. His tone only a soft murmur, as if speaking sweet nothings with his love.

"Nothing, his words are meaningless threats."

Kasumi - July 18, 2007 07:31 AM (GMT)
Kasumi was unsure as he spoke. There was something he wasn't telling her but she wasn't going to push it. She had sensed it before. Months ago, when she first became his Queen. There was something that tormented him. But now, it seemed nothing bothered him, that whatever it was from before was over. So she had nothing to worry about right? Wrong. She felt uneasy about it.

"If you say so M'Lord."

She smiled again as Legesain almost knocked Shai'tan over. The poor colt had poor balance. She was almost sure Legesain didn't know how gentle or rough to be. Kasumi stepped forward and extended her neck, placing a small nip on her love's neck. She moved away from him, not before flicking him with her tail, to stand behind her colt. A small smirk settling upon her velvets

The young foal felt his legs almost give out due to the force of the stag's nuzzle. He tilted dangerously to the side but managed to right himself. A snort escaped his maw in annoyance as he kicked out threateningly towards the brujo's nares. Though he had missed the young coltine had already shown how he would not allow others to push him around no matter their size. He already had an air of authority about him. Still, Shai'tan calmed slightly as he continued to glare at his sire. Yes, he knew who this stallion was. Legesain did look exactly like him after all. Growing bored of the adult's conversation, the foal moved towards his dam's belly as he began to suckle. His tail swished happily as the warm milk filled his tummy. He tossed his cran as his dam moved away just as he had finished to stand behind him. Suddenly he was looking up at his sire. He squealed loudly before taking a few steps closer to the czar, extending his cran towards the larger equine. His nares flared as he attempted to capture his sire's scent. A scent he would know until his dying day.

The copper brute stood awaiting his mate's response. He could tell she didn't fully believe him or was hesitant about his answer, but he was glad when she accepted his answer and dropped the topic. Another smile graced his lips as he felt her affectionate nip upon his pelt. An invisible eyebrow raised as she moved away, leaving no barrier between father and son. His gaze drifted downwards to the small bantle as he awaited some sort of response. Legesain tossed his cran as the high pitch squeal suddenly flooded his sonar, but remained where he was standing. He stayed silent as the foal moved closer, his nape slowly extending towards him. His motionless frame stood staring as their noses slowly touched. After a moment the coltine pulled away and Legesain tossed his cran slightly. A small smile formed as he watched Shai'tan prance towards his dam. His gaze turned to Kasumi. "Shall we return home?"

Kasumi - September 2, 2007 01:32 AM (GMT)
Soft eyes rested on the young crimson coltine. Her son, her only son. Happiness swelled within her heart, there were just no words to explain how she felt. She guessed that most mares felt like this after giving birth to her first. Extending her neck, she reached over Shai'tan and tucked her head against him. For a moment she closed her eyes, just enjoying this moment. As he began to get antsy, she let go of him and moved closer to her mate.

Her heart also swelled with love for him, The Dark King. She had never been so sure of anything in her life and because of that, she now had a beautiful young colt. Tipping her cran to the side, she rested against Legesain's shoulder. Her eyes closed once more, she was still in some pain. Mostly, she was just sore. It would pass in time. A deep sigh passed her librims. Finally she could relax. And it was enjoyale.

She sucked in a quick breath and her eyes snapped open as the Dark God entered her mind. Why he had appeared suddenly, she had no clue. She had no idea of the powers he controlled, so could he be trying to contact her through her mind? She couldn't help the thoughts drift through her mind. He was handsome indeed. He was mysterious and older. Much older than Legesain and herself. With a shake of her cran, his image disappeared as did her thoughts. She shouldn't be having thoughts of others beside her love. And because of that, she felt guilty. Like she had already somehow betrayed Legesain. Her gaze snapped to her mate and wondered if he had seen the Dark God also. If he had, he showed no signs of anger or hatred. A few moments later his deep voice, not as deep as the Dark God she noted, floated to her towers. A smile settled upon her librims as she spoke, her attenion now rightfully his.

"We shall."
