The cool wind picked up his banner and threw them around, with no regard of the age of the ancient threads. The stag snorted, knowing that the time was coming. He and his mate and lived long lives, and outlived many of those who had ruled in their time, except that of the neutral one. Sighing slightly he knew that the darq race was in good hands, with his daughter and nephew amoung its ranks. throwing a look towards dark he sighed again and as his breathing grew harder he folded his aged pillars beneath him and lay in the dust. his huge carcass rose and fell with his troubled breathing but Winter was calm. He looked up at Dark and reached to nuzzle her once more from the dust before lowering his regal head once more and closing his eyes, his last breath exiting his maw.
The wind picked up his tassels and threw them out of order, but this time there was no soul to shake them back into place. The soul of the great warrior had left his carcass and soared into the sky.

ooc- wow I just realized how old Blue Moon is?! I am such a dunce! He's got to be like 20 at least, but he's a tough old warrior and I love playing him but his day will come, VERY soon....

occ: i know - this whole thing with Lana and the lights has really brought to the front that she is old too - only just a bit younger that Blue Moon and way older that all the rest in the game. she too will soon meet her end.
