A golden breast lay as if in deep sleep beneath a broad shady tree, though in fact in the trance-like state of deep thought. A chilling breeze blew through the day, ruffling the shiny pelt, biting at the sensitive skin radiating with the warmth of a living bodice. Its tugged Yarraman out of his stupor, shaking ‘is head, causing 'im to look 'bout an' glance up at the heavens. Clouds gathering. A storm. 'e spat an' heaved 'is sturdy frame to its daggers, streaching 'is pillars. 'e yawned, showing fangs as clean as a hunter's could be. Another chill swept through 'im, creating bitter thoughts.
Cursing the weather 'e walked onwards to wake up 'is usually agile mind. Its was so boring lately. Even the king's return hadn't entertained 'im for long. 'e wanted to go an' hunt sunkissers...Maybe even try 'is skill at stalking wenches. 'e grinned. It would be 'bout time 'e followed 'is sire's example. 'e entertained 'is thoughts with plans for future explorations into certain lands where 'e could test 'imself but soon became bored with it.
'is ponderings turned to war and the royals, the ex-king, the returned king, Jezebel, Legesian’s vix, Princess’ Badra, Noor and Candice. ‘e soon pushed aside the latter topic with nervously and wished for a battle to break out once more. The last had been to short. ‘e cast ‘is gaze ‘round, watching out for other demons. ‘e wasn’t sure if ‘e wanted company or exile. One thing was sure. ‘e craved excitement and amusement right now. ‘e at least needed a mental challenge or ‘ed do something stupid.
{Save us..... :o :blink: lol }

Young enchantress made her way through the damned geo. The recent gusts of winds chilled her warm pelt. The terrain had suffered poor weather lately. The banshee's pillars carried her frame across the dying fields of the terra, looking for some equine. Perhaps to socialize, perhaps to fight with. Ever since seeing beast and that wench she had some pent up anger to release. Even so, the temptress suffered loneliness from wandering alone. Confused by her mixed feelings, she found herself wandering aimlessly once more.
The nymph drew to a halt in a random field. Her cran lifted slightly to gaze at her surroundings. How far had she gone? Well the land was still darkened and dying so she must be in shadowed lands still. Surely if she resided with the King she would be welcomed in the other dark terrains. The czarina's gaze fell upon a czar in the distance. Curious to who he was and where she was, she found her pillars moving once more, taking her gypsy vanner form closer to the brute.
Upon arrival the witch halted only a few feet away. Purgatory snorted slightly to get his attention. It seemed as if the beast had been entranced by his thoughts or perhaps just resting. She knew the look well, she had found herself feeling the same often these days. Her pale librims parted so that her cold curses would be heard.
"Lo stranger, what is your curse? Do you know if I still wander with the land of the Dark King?"

Sun coloured crown turned 'wards the sound of another, audits pricked, giving 'is facade the expression of curious interest. 'e growled 'fore answering the vixen, midnight stained maw outlining pale ivories.
Aye ye still walk the Underworld and I am Yarraman. Who be you then?
'e watched 'er curiously, closely surveying 'er. 'e moved 'is pillars, shifting 'is frame to face 'er, lifting 'is arch and cranium in a subtle display of attention and causing 'is muscles and posture to take on a uncounsiously proud stance.

The warrioress stood silently for a moment, surveying the young buck before her. He was the bronzed color of the sun and obviously thought highly of himself. Purgatory doubt he was royal, she would have been introduced to him by now if he was. So who was this strange stag? A slight sigh of relief as he told her she remained in her lord's land. It would be nasty business to find herself in a strange stag's land. Another moment's hesitated silence as the lone brute asked her name. Obviously he must reside here as well. So there couldn't be any danger in simply telling him her name. "Purgatory."

Yarraman simply nodded and turning 'is dial and staring off into the distance for a moment, lost in the recess' of 'is mind once more, golden banner swishing. 'he came back to 'imself, stamping 'im dagger in annoyance. It was so boring here!'e had to find something to do. 'e looked back at the wrench, Purgatory. 'he looked strong and seemed of sound mind, obviously bored and with nothing to do if 'he was wandering around way out here. So far anyway. Maybe 'he could join 'im in 'is favorite plan to cause strife. These things were aways better with two acting out the plan, and it would make sure 'e saw it through. Or 'he might just keep 'e company, a few friendly fights, if they existed, and some heated debate. The more 'e thought about it the more 'e felt 'imself warming to the idea and the vix. 'e gazed at 'er out of one liquid pool, slipping into a more casual manner, a sly look on 'is crown.
"What is you opinion on the lights, and the torn, may I ask?"
'e asked calmly, then added, "Where were you ranked at Legesain's meeting? Who are your connections, rank within the king's terra?"
-though it didnt matter to 'im, it might be useful. 'e then realised it might work better with manners, though they were great innconveniences.
"If you do mind me asking, as a fellow dark and if itnt too rude to ask of you"
Yarraman was finding it difficult to keep the sneer out of 'is voice on that latest one. What shameful actions. Anyway if a dark found that rude then they couldnt be of any rank. Most would love to boast, 'e'd done it too. 'e turned to fully face 'er, 'is stance the same but friendly, afterall pride was part of 'im and 'e wouldnt change anytime soon, even for the better. That time had fled from 'im as quickly as it had come. Sometimes 'e wished it would come again. But past was past, now was the time when boredom may become part of that, if Pugatory was to be a good partner for 'is scheme. A small smirk slipped onto 'is maw, the closest thing to a smile for the golden beast.

Her gaze followed the stag's movements. It seemed his thoughts were elsewhere. Perhaps lost in the distance like his gaze. Then his vision found her, once again the buck seemed to be back in the present time. The warrioress stuided the stag for a moment, but offering no comfort towards breaking the silence. The maid would not say anything, she was happier allowing the brute to pick up the conversation. The wench had never been one of great social skills. Still, she had to admitt she was glad the czar had not turned her away. He was the only company she had besides the royal flickas. Who could be tiring these days. Especially when Badra seemed comforted in simply moping about. Pining for her first love. Then tones floated into the air. A political question eh? Very well. The vixen pondered on how to answer. She chose her words carefully, you never knew how equines could take these things. "They have never angered me personally but I will fight whomever my king desires me to. It would be a lie if I haven't been a little annoyed with their wealth in land while we rot here, I'll admit that." She said, hoping this would not anger her new aquiantance. Another question was thrown at her. But she didn't mind. It was the first real conversation she had had in a while. Pale librims parted as words flowed like warm honey.
"I be only a warrioress to the King. I am a bodygaurd to the late princesses. My connection is the late queen Jezebel. I was her friend before she gained royal favor." She said, explaining her place in the land. If it weren't for Jezebel she might have been declared useless and chased out years ago. She was no maiden for the king's whims. And she was more company to the princesses than protection. "And you stag? What keeps you in our dark lord's favor?" Purgatory asked, returning the question to the brute. It was only fair. His words were forgotten. Being a fellow herdmate, she saw no danger in telling him these things. It was not like she was spreading secrets of the King. The sneer laced within his words may have offended most, but his body betrayed him. His stance told her he meant no threat. Therefore Purgatory was relaxed.

Yarraman perked up 'is audits, catching 'er answers. 'e paricularly enjoyed 'er second sentence, after all 'e had the inborn hatred for the scareds. A dark with sense. Now there was a shocker, 'e mused. 'e always believed that idea was half the conflict. You had to admit they had idealistic terras.
'e heard 'er second answer, slightly suprised at their similarty of backgrounds. 'e snorted when 'he returned the interigation, pausing to gaze at 'er fully with 'is dark orbs.
It may help keep me alive that my sire is Lord Thunder, though my mother has no rank truely. I have no contact with our currant King, only with 'is sister, Jezebel. If it is the princesses Badra and Noor you speak of, I was at their birth when the ex-queen Jezebel asked me to escort her to the Foaling Fields. 'e shrugged. I have only spoken with them a few times since. I doubt they would still remember me from when they were little bantles, barely newborns and yearlings.
'e felt a tinge of sadness, inherited from 'is mother's love of foals, for they truely had been sweet kids. 'e recovered 'e emotions quickly, 'is first thoughts returning to 'im. There was a question 'e had forgotten. Was 'he war hungery? 'e smirked, right now 'e was, needing a release from the peacefulness of the lands. Okay a little was alright but this? This was just oppressive.
What do ye think about war, fighting?
