Description: Samos, Embers and Koen

the great mass of the crimson stag thundered along the hard sand by the waters edge, the cool liquid spashing his thick pillars. Racing behind him was his young son. the stag turned his head, seeing his son gaining on him he gave a buck and raced forward again, his hooves creating deeper imprints as the sand turned slightly softly. the colt gave a squeal as a large wave rushed at him, nearly knocking the youngester off his danty pillars. Samos paused for a second, waiting to see his son recover. when the colt did he raced off again, neighing for his son to hurry up. He reached a small rise in the sand and skidded to a halt, spraying sand all over his sopping bodice. the colt pelted towards him, squealing slightly as his pillars would not slow. the stag grapped the colts short banner and swung him round, the colting ending up on his rump in the sand.

Koen got up and shook his bodice. He kicked a little sand at his sire who nipped his rump in disapproval. koen snorted and lookedbck the way they had come. Screwing up his brow he searched for his mother. but she was nowhere in sight. whickering slightly to his father koen turned to him to see him nod. koen gathered his pillars under him and forced his strength into his hind and launched into the air, letting out a call for his mother

when no reply was given, Koen shook himself firmly. He turned to his sire, who had equal amounts of concern written across his facade. With a snort the young colt decided to forget his worries. The day was still young and the water would cool against his hooves.

The coltine trotted from the hillock down to the water's edge and dipped his nose to drink from the coming waves. The water struck him and its salty nature coursed harshly down his throat. coughing and spluttering the colt dashed away from the edge, before looking back with wary orbs. He threw a glance over his shoulder for his sire, the collossal frame had moved away from the water and was grazing on the sprase vegetation. he knew that his father would be alseep soon. he smiled before returning to the water.

This time keeping his nose clear of the foul tasting liquid he stepped bravely forward. The water rushed around his hooves, pulling the sand away, sinking the coltine's thin pillars. Yet Koen was not phased. The water calmed him.

As he stepped further into the water the waves grew larger and stronger, but Koen battled them, whinnying as each wave threatened to knock him off his danting flints.
A warning neigh came from the shorelines, but Koen disregarded it as all bantles did.

He was past the breakers and into the bobbing waves. after he rose over a slightly larger wave he found that his hooves no long touched the sand. As he began to sink he gave a frightened squeal and thrashed his pillars madly. He found that this thrashing made him rise slightly. Calming some what the coltine forced his pillars into some sort of pattern and within strokes he was swimming forcibly, guiding through the water over the gentle waves.
Throughly pleased with himself the colt turned his head back to the shore and called to his father.

He saw his sire standing knee deep in the waves, ready to race in if his son was in any trouble. Koen whickered to him, join me yet his father shook his head and remained standing and watching.
the colt whinnyed loudly and swam forward, thrashing wildly, drops of water flying into the air, relfecting the sunlight on the torn colt.

defiantely one of my longest post - if you want to join me with this tread please do - i have heaps of musey!

Samos watched his son frollicking in the waves, for a moment he was slightly worried, but as the coltine became more confident he relaxed slighty. With a smile he turned in the shallow water and made his way allow the beach, the water splashing around his huge pillars. He lifted his head and gave a call to Koen, the colt squealing excitedly in reply.
And father and son moved along the beach apart - yet together.

The headland at the far end of the beach was drawing closer and Samos decided he and Koen would explore the rocks. Putting on a burst of speed the shire leapt forward, pulling his flints high above the water, finding it easier that way to move forward. He came to a halt at the beginning of the rock and made his way along a sandy path towards a flat part of rock. His hooves clanged noisy as he stepped up and halted waiting for his son.

koen swam hard towards his father - pillars tiring slightly as the waves became stronger. Fighting to keep his head above water Koen rode the waves back into the shore, slightly gratful for the feeling of hard sand under his flints.
He scrambled up the sloping sand towards the rocks and loped to his father. He reared slightly and whinniyed and then landed before racing off, his hooves slipping slightly on the wet rocks.

From the tangle of palms and seaweed, her small flints sinking slightly into the sand, came a small and gracefilled vixen, her coat a bright flame-licked hue - the deep colour the reason for her charm, Sunset Embers. She was a delicate and gentle creature, creeping lightly over the sand like a careful deer. Gentle, intelligent orbs spy the two, a father and son, playing upon the shore, and from the way the sight of them lit up her entire visage one could easily see that she knew them - and loved them both dearly.

Half rearing elegantly she slices her fores through the air, sending sand flicking skywards, and lets out an excited whinny to bring the pair's attention to her arrival before dropping back to the sand and prancing lightly on the spot, eager to see their individual reactions.

the coltine slipped slighlty on the wet rocks. as he regained his footing his grinned widely at his father and tried to step again. the wisp of a call on the wind caught his auds and he spun quickly, his flints slipping and his rump making hard contact with the rock. Not bothering to stand up he looking hard down the beach towards the sound and saw the equine and joy flooded him.
Mother! he called wildly. scrambling to get to his feet, but his tangled pillars prevented all movement.

the collosal sire smiled softly as his son played on the rocks. His heart had been heavy ever since they had left their home. He had been lost ever since his beloved had no longer been in their sights, yet he had know they only thing he could do was continue on to the place they had agreed to journey to, keep a brave face of Koen and wait and pray that his love was alive and she would soon join them. He closed his orbs against the warm sun and let his dream box slip back to then he had first met Embers and the joyous times they had spent together.
A sudden call, distant and familiar caught his auds. Yet he dismissed it as a memory.
But the sudden and shrill call of his son forced his orbs open. Spinning slightly, only just able too keep his thick pillars steady he turned to face the beach. The lone figure caught his sights and he gasped. This must be a dream. But then Koen could see her too - so whose dream was it?
Unable to contain himself he leapt forward, towards his son, almost scooping him too his feet and pushing him towards the edge of the rock, the sturdier sand and their loved one.

OCC: Why did they leave their terra? =P

She hears her little Koen call her, and sees her beloved Samos look at her in disbelief, and she looks upon them with new appreciation. Oh, she had missed them so! Another elated whinny escapes her velveteen lips before she rushes down to meet the flame hued pair, sending tendrils of sand flicking up behind her. First she greets her dear little coltine, nuzzling him lovingly and quickly looking him over for injury after his rock scramble; content in finding that he was unharmed. She then smiles coyly as she turns her gantle gaze onto the stalwart brute by her side, Samos, the love of her life. She was unable to control her delight at seeing him and smothers him with affection; licks his cheek, nuzzles him tenderly and whispering things into his audits.

I missed you so much my darling... Ohh, I love you... She whickers softly to him, snuggling up close to his warm, comforting frame, breathing in the scent of him and feeling the familiar touch of his pelt. All was well now that she was back with her little family. It was well worth the trials she endured to find her way here after leaving their home terra. Seeing her son was out of the embrace, she beckons him to come near.

Come my little Koen, come give your silly old mother a cuddle. She whickers jokingly to him, pulling him into her with her cran and muzzle, draping her nape over him to hold him tight.

occ: to investigate the beach - do a little exploring hehe!

Samos drapped his boa over his love and pulled her tight to him. He closed his orbs and smiled as her glorious smell filled his nostrils. He pulled back slightly, allowing his orbs to take in her whole frame and licked her cheek tenderly.
You gave me a little scare. he said, smiling broadly as nothing could dampen his spirits now.

Koen snuggled deep into his dam's side. He nuzzled her lovingly and licked her cheek playfully after his sire had done so. Dancing away he reared, striking the air before his, calling his mother to dance with him.
The golden sand sprayed beneath his hooves as he twisted and sprang, relishing his family and the warmness of the sun that blessed his back.

Embers licks Samos lovingly in return then smiles warmly towards him when he voices his concern.
Ohh, you needn't have worried darling, I was never far behind. I could always follow your scent easily - I just had a bit of an accident on the way here. She nickers in a reassuring tone, indicating shallow grazes on the right side of her frame, 'pon her blade and her belly. Her gaze then drifts to her adorable coltine, who frolics happily upon the sand and invites her to join in. She smiles broadly with her gentle smile and nods to him.
Yes, yes Koen dear, I'll come and play when I have finished talking to Daddy. Don't stray to far, I'm watching you. She neighs to him, the last statement sterner than the first.
Now she turns her full attention back to Samos, the love of her young life, and cannot resist licking his muzzle spontaneously out of affection.

Samos's orbs filled with concern when the fell upon his love's injuries. In that first moment of pure relief at seeing her he had not noticed. He dipped his muzzled and breathed on them gently before raising his cran again and licked her cheek. He gazed into her orbs for a moment, a love struck Romeo, before tugging affectionately on her tassles.

Koen stopped his dance for a moment, watching his dam and sire. He snorted in youthful disgust before kicking his heels and trotting away up the beach. Determinded to go beyond the sight of his parents he raced away, but a sudden chill struck his young frame and he spun round, making sure they could still see him. Whickering happily he frolicked in the tiny waves, snuffing at the water and sneezing at it flew up his nostrils.
