Title: Blue Moon and Jasmine
Description: Heir to the Throne
Arabian - February 15, 2007 10:20 PM (GMT)
The czar stepped across the topography with heavy arthritis amongst his stride. Flecks of silver stood amongst his azure hue. Tired pools sunken slightly with his age, he wondered whether his strength would hold onto him for much longer. Indeed he did know that his time was near, yet not would he rest in peace should the horror of someone other than the blood of himself and his beloved Jasmine flow through the royal family. Too, he desired to have this heir change the path of his decision. Though uncertain he was for his delimma, his love for Jasmine was prideful and an old relationship that held the pact of the truest bond one could ever hope for. Knowing that for years she had stood next to him, through his decisions and roles as king, she was there. Though his times of denial she was there to lift him back up. Smiling slightly to himself, he gathered his strength one last time, to gaze around for her, knowing this could be his last time. But in his heart he would with hold his power for the heir to be born and to know of him and what Moon needed o be done. To run the race of Blue Moon through his veins, and surely know that his blood was never wasted.

A grey flecked charcoal belle stepped softly into the grounds, wondering if this would be 'er last visit. 'he hoped an' dispared not. 'he hoped to ensure 'er beloved's heir finally but knew sadly it was to be 'er last quest for a child. 'he chose Moon to be 'er only lover an' 'e would not hold forever 'he knew. 'e deserved eternal peace an' for that 'he knew 'he must pray for a son to carry on 'is father's glorius title. 'he approched 'im with a affectionate whicker, gliding up to 'im an'softly tounching 'is high shoulder blade with a still velvet muzzle, questing 'is greeting gently.

Charcoal visions watched her approach with admiration, how had it been he so many years ago, that had befell upon such a beauty as she? True, she had aged along side him, yet her radiance provailed marvelously. Smiling in spite of himself, he nuzzled her cheek beyond affection. Such a powerful love they shared, and for so long, most likely, there was not an equine in the lands whose relationship had not lasted for an eternity such as theirs. Their undenying loyalty to each other, the passion and truth they had and always will give. For even in the after life, they would remain together, for the Dry Valley of the God's welcomed all passed souls. Yet he did not fear death, perhaps he would not go there, perhaps he would move on. Or, it was possible that he owed the world a debt for betraying his race, such a foolish coltine he had been then when he sold the devil his and all of his kinds soul. But now, that was not the time for, it was a time for love beyond compare to any other being of emotion that wandered the earth, alive or dead. Things would never be the seem after this heir was ensured, for the world would bow to a new king, a new heirarchy, a new destiny. He would ensure that before his dying day, the little colt new of what he must do, what he must achieve for all of the torn to suceed in life, for he had taken that all away from them, in one simple action, one that was not worth his pondering upon at the moment.
He let all past deeds slip away, and returned to reality with a pang of self conciousness. Suddenly ignoring it all completely, he was not sure he was now capable of the thing he knew he must complete to keep the effort of everything he had not done into this foal. Closing his eyes silently, he only breathed in the scent of Jasmine. Becoming fulfilled with the task before him, how the world could change with this one little foal. Smiling slightly, he opened his pools, blinking with sure confidence at her, his eyes asked everything, was she ready? Or maybe the question was...was he?
All in all, the inqiury was to her and her alone. She would decide when everything began, she bore the burden not he. Everything mattered when she gave him the straight start. Now everything slipped away, and they stood as one, he by her side, waiting simply, every question reverberating his his oculars. Anything she wanted know, needed to know, desired to know, he would answer truthfully, loyally, this may be the only time they were ever given the time to answer. Who knew? The promise of ressurection was the only thing before them, besides the promise of new life.

OOC- grrr this is really annoying me... I want to kill my comp! Every time I go to post my reply it disconnects or I get kicked off!!!!!!!!!argggh.
BIC-
Liqiud brown orbs observed him with love. Never had she had to run and hide from him, never had she had to guard her emotions or be ready to defend herself around him. All she felt was love and happiness, contentment. And in all the years she still found it strange to be reguarded as a Queen. She still saw herself as an ordinary equine in love with her mate. True, her mate was the King yet she had never thought that she should have the right to be haughty or any thing less than friendly to any other equine. She hoped that her childern would live with their parent's values.
These thoughts brought where she was and who was with her sharply back into focus. Another bantle....A son....A child with a sure future, even if it was a hard and maybe challenging destiny.
She took a step towards him, maw reaching for him as her bodice cept to his side, pelt prickling where they touched, feeling his still strong muscles rippling beneath flecked hides. Gazing at him she still saw his looks as handsome.
"Blue Moon, my love"
She murmered, ready for him, as she had always been and would be. Nothing would steal her away from his side, not a past love and not death. But him from hers? Only one question lay in her heart, a question she would never utter, for fear the wind should hear her fear and carry it to some spiteful god. Despite all her knowledge and love she still feared to wonder how long he would remain by her side in the living world, how long he could stay with her and the soon-to-be bantle, breathing, would his blood pump beside a colt of his heart, teaching secrets that only a King could know, wisedom that eclipsed her own completly. For she could not follow those who went before her into death until she was sure of her sons and daughters's futures or the opportunity to continue watching over them actively.
She buried these questions into her heart again, compressing their poision. What would come, would come and she would meet those dawns when that sun rose. Now was the time when they were together and before those ideas could even become possible, a child would have to be born. She was ready, her body told her that and as long as he was, she could not depair in any worries their coupling could bring.
She flicked her banner over his rump, nipping his arch lightly, her mood rising immediatly. She smiled at him welcomingly, letting him know the game was afoot.

Her vocals were a sweet, caressing song upon the wind, it rolled over his flesh in a warm blanket that overwhelmed him. Momentarily lost in her sense, he was shaken awak by the growing prospect of their last foal. This would be it, the last foal they would have togethere, and the new reigning king of the torn. That put much weight upon the unborn foal, but the bloodline of Blue Moon was strong and exceptional, for they did not break under pressue. But as he gazed into her orbs, the both knew the time was now. He gave her one last deeply affection nuzzle, before making his way slowly and deliberately behind her.

He grunted softly as his pistons touched the earth once more, pain shooting through them as his arthritic knees complained savagely. He limped his way around to stand by her side, wheezing slightly with an irritable cough. He shook his bold cranium before touching her shoulder gently with his maw. Words were beyond him, there was nothing more he could say..except...
"I love you."

"As do I"
She returned lovingly, brushing her velvetine muzzle gaisnt shoulder, nuzzling his arch affectionately. She moved 'er nares to her belly, touching it softly, well satified. She smiled at him, content in the memory of their love, despite a tinge of worry for 'is pain. Her love and concern for him washed over her. Her life had been like a dream ever since she had entered this land with her brother by her side as a young belle, friendly and ready to love others before herself. Maybe she had picked up selfishness on the way, to want to bind others to her side forever. She lifted her gaze to his, touching his maw with hers.
"Be you well enough, Moon, my love?"
She asked softly, standing closer to him. For the first time, she wished she had used her position as a queen to gain a power, the power to heal and soothe hurt, if only to spare those she loved pain if she did not live to see the envible reenactment of the last battle.
OOC- Thats okay, I'm fine with that!

He gave a warm smile of content before her lowered his tiara, stretching his azure neck towards the geo to relieve the stress he had been applying to it to keep it held skyward. He shut his eyes for seconds alone, just savering her voice upon his memory before he opened them and gently shook his cerebrum softly to make the pain behind his poll deteriorate. Moon lifted his regal tiara to meet hers level on, all the love and more he possessed full in his gentle, tired orbs. He once again smiled, to reassure her he was indeed fairing well. But without notice of his bad habit doing so, he shifted to releave the pressure payed upon his hind limbs and gave an almost inaudible groan of pain. Suddenly realising his mistake, he let his tiara fall slightly, looking upon from beneath his too-long forelock to gaze sheepishly at her, almost playfully in a childish way.
"My health is not so important as the one who has stood by my side faithfully for so many years, and for years to come. I put my love before my life, you know that." He said in his deep slow tones. She seemed as youthful as she had been years ago, which could only rbing more love back into his heart. Indeed he did have a power, but he had adandoned it years ago, for he found, as age contrinued to progress no matter how much super-strength he possessed, it cannot contain youthfulness. It did not bother him so much anymore, the power of mind was greater than the power of body. That was all he could have ever asked for. Besides the diamond inside his heart.

Her frown of concern and suspiciousness were washed away as she gazed down into his sheepish expression. She heard his words. But even they could not divert the bubbling of laughter which rose within her, from her soal. Age and years were rushed away as, nipping him gently, she leapt foward, turning to face him, briefly shaking her head, a smile smile playing about her velvetine muzzle before standing tall in the sunlight.
"I could only hold such a love, as I feel now for, my true love, a strong-minded stag with the wisdom of the stars and his kind are as rare as his name."
She reached out to touch his maw with hers, looking deep into his eyes, as she had done since the day they had first met. She, still devestated by the loss of her mate and with a young bantle by her side, had stood with the only other two equines of that terrian, a young stag and belle. Instantly, from the moment he appeared to oversee the stag's taking-over, she had felt the tug of fate connected with this tall, noble czar. She hoped to convince the belle to reside with the new Lord. They seem a fair match. But it had been her desire to follow the eagle she relised she was suddenly attracted to, and later she would know as King and love. It was the past true but to remember her determination always strengthened and renewed her strong love for the czar she had followed. Memories faded away as she returned, still gazing into his liquid orbs, smile still striving.
" Shall we head now for the place where your heir, my son, shall be birthed? Or wish ye we return home?
"
She asked but her voice betrayed her eagerness to show off their love to the world once more in their union of flesh, and prove their ability to bring forth a son, an Heir for the Torns.
