Samos trotted slowly into his home, scouting for danger even though in his heart it knew it to be safe. Stopping her turned and whickered softly to Embers, letting her know it was safe.

Bright chestnut pelted belle two beats elegantly into 'er beloved home, 'er blissful mood showing in the lightness of 'er steps, 'er hoofbeats silent on the emerald carpet 'neath 'er. 'He whickers tenderly to 'er son, Koen, who was striding strongly by 'er side, easily matching 'er pace. Excited to be home with 'er family 'he bounds fowards to Samos and lips at 'is vermillion veil affectionatly. 'He then watches their coltine, 'er pools sparkling with wonder, "Is 'e not the most darling little thing ye have ever seen?" 'E nickers to Samos, 'er voice smooth and wistful.

Samos nodded, still finding it hard to find words when looking at 'is son.
My heart is full.
'e whispered, nuzzling 'er, then dropping 'is head and nuzzling 'is son's cheek.

Koen came to a stop beside 'is dam and nudged 'er gently. This land was strange. Strange yet comforting. 'e looked up at the equine before 'im and snorted in recognition. As the stag bent to nuzzle 'im 'e return it, a bit unsure, still not fully understanding the role of this stag in 'is life.

'He could do nothing but smile at 'is words, for 'he knew exactly how 'e felt as 'he too watches the young masc. 'He could still not believe that this wonderful little creature was a mix of 'er and 'er love, and that 'e was all 'ers. For once 'he had a bantle to swoon o'er, instead of jealously watching other mother's with their fawns. 'He sees that 'e 'is unsure of 'is own father, and figures that 'e 'is yet to realise that that 'is who 'e be. 'He shakes 'er beautiful tiara gentlly, knowing that 'e would realise it soon enough, and then nickers to 'er fire kissed babe and lips 'is bright, silken veil affectionately, clasping it 'twix 'er ivories and giving it a gentle tug in play. 'He then looks out to the beloved terrain of 'er home in front of 'er, seeing the sweeping plains, the vast, glistening river, all brought comfort to 'er.

gosh - sorry it too me so long to reply

Samos nickered happily and dropped his head to graze, his orbs still on Embers and Koen.

Koen danced as his mother tugged at his short tassles. He nickered and reared playfully at her, his small yet sharp hooves striking innocently at the air. Landing he pranced and danced around. He continued until he collided with the huge stag's hind pillar. Leaping back the tiny colt cowered down, afraid of what the stag would do. But his reaction was not what Koen had expected. The stag turned and nickered then nuzzled his neck, pulling playfully on his tassles as he mother had. Koen stepped back, then came to a realisation and whickered and raced away, calling back for the huge stag to race him.

OOC: It's ok, I'm just as bad....

BIC: Embers grins proudly as 'he watches 'er mate and son play, and nods to Samos, encouraging 'im to chase after 'is son. It was important to 'er that Koen knew Samos's place in 'is life,

"Go on Samos, go get 'im." 'He nickers with a sweet grin.

Samos threw a small nicker to Embers and raced quickly after his small son. HIs tall pillars let his easy catch up with the young equine, carrying him quickly to an past his son. Rounding a tree he turned back and raced towards Koen, before sliding to a halt before him.

Koen reared slightly then raced forward again, kicking his hooves gently. Hearing the thunder behind him Koen turned his head, but seeing the massive form of the equine now familiar to him he whinnyed and continued on his run. The stag easily overtook Koen, whose thin pillars fought to keep up. As the flame thrown coltine raced forward, his father turned and raced back to him. Collision seemed immient, yet it was still skill of both father and son that made then stop so easily before each other.

Embers giggles quietly to 'erself, and gives a playful buck, 'er spirits hightened by seeing 'er family so happy in a time of war. 'He prances a little bit away to stand underneath the wide boughs of a tree, and turns back to watch 'er mate and son frolic, a contented smile on 'er fire licked kissers. When it seemed that the pair were going to collide at a run, 'he prepared 'erself to bolt o'er to them, but gave a sigh of relief when 'he beheld their skillful halt. 'He shakes 'er cran and laughs,

"Be careful you pair!" 'He whickers to them, looking at them with mock scorn on 'er visage.

Samos turns too look over at Embers and smiled cheekily too her. He turned back to his son to see him dutifully dip his head in reply to his mother's playful warning. samos knew he son had wisdom and respect beyond his years and pride bubbled in him. but it soon became obvious that no matter how much wisdom the colt beheld he was still a colt at heart. as his son turned at reared at him, samos reared in return.
You have nothing, young colt. he said, preparing to play fight his young son.

Catching on quickly Koen lowered himself and began to prowl alomst lionlike around his father.
Oh i believe it is you that have nothing, old stag he retorted cheekily, before rearing and lightly striking his father on the shoulder. returning to the geo Koen spun round and kicked out, disappointed his aim missed as his father easily side stepped his kick. Ducking quickly he missed the stag's own attempt at his head and raced forward before planting his fore hooves on his father's chest and sending him falling into the grass. Koen leapt father his father, laughter on his vocals. he rolled over the massive form of the stag before coming to rest, panting slightly, one of samos' pillar's drapped over his body.
