Title: Our Future
Description: Badra and Aidan

Aalaya - October 2, 2006 05:14 AM (GMT)
Badra walked into the lush terrain. It was overgrown with vegetation and trees seemed to overpack the geo. It was a nearly perfect place for a secluded meeting. She had told Aidan this is where she would wait for him. She began to pace with worry. What if something happened to him? What if one of the darks realized who he was? She felt sick with anxiety and worry. If this was how it was going to be when they were just talking, how would it be when they were mates?

Aidan trotted quickly into the terrain. He wanted to be as far away from dark lands so no one noticed who he was. He stayed hidden in the shadows for a little bit just watching Brada. Seeing her get worrieed he stepped out and walked over to her. He nuzzled her lovingly.

Badra's sonar flicked slightly towards the noise she heard in the undergrowth. Her heart raced quickly as her mind went through all the possibilities of who it could be. Her delicate crown turned to meet the newcomer. Her lungs released gently and she began to breathe again once she saw it was Aidan.

Her maw rubbed along his nape lovingly in return. She nuzzled him softly, wanting to just stay like that. She drew back her muzzle to gaze into his pools. Her orbs searched his own for a moment. She parted her librims to speak softly.

"I was afraid you wouldn't show."

She addmitted in a light tone. Her voice cracked a little as she spoke her fear. She didn't want to seem so weak but with Aidan she didn't mind that. She had always swore she would never be the worrying mate of some stag. But now if that meant being with Aidan, she didn't care if she gave all of her pride up for him.

Aidan heard the fear in her tone and saw the weakness in her eyes. He stepped closer to her and nuzzled her, reassuringly. He had to be strong for them both. Even though deep inside, fear of being caught and Brada being hurt or taken away from him was eating him alive, he composed himself on the outside. He would not let his fear control him. They would fight and win.

"I will always come when you call."

Aidan's soft whispers gently caressed her sonar. He let the worry for her safety show deeply in his pools. He cared not for his own wellbeing but greatly for hers. Pressing his muzzle into her mane, he nickered softly, lovingly.

Badra allowed her mug to run along his nape once more as her paperthins flared to take in his scent. A scent she would remember till her dying day. Her sonar quivered slightly as his warm breath gently blew across her towers. She felt his muzzle pressed softly against her and she sighed softly. She could get used to this.

Her towers flicked back to catch his soft nicker. In response she parted her dark librims to allow a small whinny to escape and float to his sonar. She bobbed her head slightly as she enjoyed the warmth of his touch and pelt. She parted her librims to allow soft tones to escape her maw.

"What is to become of us?"

She asked Aidan softly. She often wondered this question.Would they ever be able to have a normal life or a family? Would her choice rob her of the lifestyle she always dreamed of. She had also dreamed of becoming queen one day, but that would never happen either.

Aidan continued to run his muzzle across her neck and through her mane. He breathed in deeply her heavenly scent. A rustling noise came from a nearby bush. Aidan's pelt quivered as he brought his head around to look. Fear rushed through his body, as he feared it would be a dark to catch them. When a small rabbit jumped out, a deep sigh escaped him.

When Aidan was satisfied that he could not sense any other equine around, he turned back to Badra. Drapping his head over her back, he brought their bodies closer as her soft lyrics drifted to his towers.

"Whatever you wish to become of us."

Whatever she wished, he would grant her. There was nothing he wouldn't do for her.

Her sonar tipped towards him to catch his murmurs. Tears came to her pools and dripped slowly and silently down her facade. She thought about his words. Her tiara turned to watch the rabbit escape. Probably home to live his life freely with his family. For a moment she envied the small creature as he ran off into the geo.

She felt Aidan drapped his cran across her and her pillars slowly sidestepped to bring herself closer to him. His warmth was comforting in the damp night. She parted her dark librims to speak in soft and hurt tones.

"I wish for many things. A life, freedom, a family, but I doubt I will get any of those. I want to be with you more than anything but I don't see how it's possible."

She said softly, her voice once more sounding weak. She hated it and it disgusted her. She felt so depressed but she had no clue as to why. Shouldn't she be happy that Aidan was here, that he was talking to her and touching her?

The growing young stallion took a step away from the enchantress of his dreams. Orbs took in her beautiful frame as he sighed. As she spoke, he knew he could never grant her the things her heart desired most. Nape extended and he gently licked the salty tears away. Bringing his neck back, he gazed at her with soft eyes.

"None of it is possible. Not in the lives we live. We come from two competely different worlds. Maybe we should give this up and surrender to our family's blood."

His words seemed a bit harsh but he said them in a gentle tone. The truth of his words stung him and he hated saying such things to Badra. He knew what he said would most likely end up hurting her, maybe even make her hate him for it. But he knew this would help them both in the long run.

Aidan took a step toward her again, reaching out to touch her. To feel her pelt against his nose once more. He wasn't sure if she was going to run or what she was going to do. If she did, he knew this was going to be one of their last times together. He didn't want her in anymore danger than she already was.

Cran raised as the warmth dissapated and she was once again alone. Her gaze rose to meet Aidan, confused why he suddenly moved from her. The hessain's gaze wandered over her bodice but Badra didn't care. His bold gaze was more than welcomed. It was almost needed. Her stare unwavered as the brute's nape extended and a smooth tongue quickly took away her tears. No doubt tears that would be replaced later.

It seemed as if her young life held more tears than laughter. Her heart was heavy with sorrow instead of light with carelessness. As his cran returned to normal level her sonar tipped towards him to hear his words. Confusion and rage flashed within the banshee. Give up? After all they had been through. Just go their seperate ways. A snort of anger was admitted, but no words.

The belle had no vocals to speak. Many words lurked within her mind but none was heard. Her gaze was no longer on Aidan. Badra couldn't look at him let alone speak to him. His tone was gentle, his intentions good, but his words cut through her sharper than any dagger could.

Thoughts that whirled through her mind was interrupted as the sound of daggers brought her back to reality. She realized that the brujo was coming closer. His nape was extended and his maw outstretched. He acted as if she was still his, as if he had any right to touch her flawless form. Pillars worked quickly to pull Badra out of the beast's reach.

"Do not touch me brute."

She said, her tone hurt but cold at the same time. She was a dark witch, how else had the stag expected her to react. Anger and vengeful was her nature. Aye she would move one, but she would meet him again. And with that next meeting she promised herself she would be in foal and happy with another. Show the fool what he gave up too easily.

When Badra moved away from his touch, he sighed. He had expected this from her, how else was she to act? If she would have said the same harsh words to him, he most likely would've acted in some sort of anger. He didn't blame her for it.

"I'm sorry, Badra."

Aidan whispered softly, barely audible. He turely meant it, but what choice did they have? Her uncle was Legesain, King of the Darks. His sire was the Lord of Lights. It would end in death, Aidan was almost positive. His heart sank down to the pit of his stomach.

I want us to be together. But how can we get away with this?

Mahogany gaze drifted back to the beautiful czarina. Pillars stood firm against the ground not moving toward her nor moving away from her. His steady stare focused on her, his orbs begging almost pleading for her not to hate him.

Sonar caught his sigh but her expression remained the same. She did not care how he felt. His words had cut deepa nd there was no going back on them now. There would be no forgiveness for him. Glare remained on the bastard, anger boiling within her. How she could even stand to look at him she didn't know. After everything they've been through this is how he repays her. Her loyalty, her love. This is how he repays her.Her cran snapped up to look at him. A snarl overtook her lips as a low hiss marked her words.

"You aren't sorry, you are a coward. You are too afraid to fight for our love. You don't want this. If you wanted this you wouldn't give up. You never wanted this, not as much as I did!"

She snarled, the ending coming out as a loud scream. How dare he?! How dare he end it this way and then say he wanted it. That selfish bastard! That ignorrant ass! She wanted to rip him apart. She was wanted to kick him until he spat blood. She wanted to scream into the sky until her lungs gave out. Instead she stood there, her frame shaking with rage. And with that final glare full of hate, she turned and she ran. She would never look back. Never again would the bastard hear her sweet voice.
