Title: RP: Searching...
Description: Badra, Aidan

The young colt moved quickly dodging trees along the way. He was following a certain scent. He made a mad dash to the right trying not to lose her scent. He halted quickly at the stream. Nostrils flaring, he scanned the area before him. If he were to call out to her, surely the lead brute would come and either kill him or...well, kill him. Darks were ruthless when it came to their territory, which is why he didn't understand why the young flicka had ran here in the first place. Aidan threw his pillars out, leaping over the stream then picked up a fast paced canter on the other side. He desperately needed to speak with her. Pillars slowed to a halt as orbs locked on the figure of Brada. He softly nickered to her.

Badra had been searching the geo in a ruthless sprint. It was just too big to search at once and she would never find the one called Cyanide at this point. Not too mention she was lost in the woods. Of all the terras why did it have to be this damned one?!
Badra could feel her patience slipping away and being replaced with anger. She stopped a a yard or so from a small stream. She sighed and looked around once more. She heard small hoofbeats approaching and spun around to see who it was. Pools took in the form of Aidan. She let her librims curve to reveal a smile, he always made things better...her smile quickly dissappeared as she remembered about earlier.
Her librims curved once more, this time into a snarl instead. Her parted librims emitted loud vocals.
"Aidan what are you doing here?! In case you haven`t noticed I am not in the mood to be even more pissed off by your presense alone!"
She snarled crually. How dare he? How dare he?! She wasn`t angry now...she was furious!

Aidan's towers flattened at her tone. He calmly walked out of the shadows and closer to her. His pools softened at the sight of her and how angry she was at him. Though it quickly turned to rage as he thought how stupid she had been to accuse him of something he hadn't done.
"I haven't come here to piss you off, Brada. Will you just listen to me instead of running off like a foolish light?"
He sneered. Her bad mood was quickly transferring to him. His eyes bore into hers, almost like he was daring her to try and run off again. This wasn't the same Aidan from before. There was more dark in him now. He was no longer living with his light family but instead out on his own.

Badra heard his words and her librims turned into a snarl. That was it, eh had crossed the line. How dare he claim she was the light. What the hell had he been for the last year? Parted librims emitted vocals covered in rage.
"A light?! A light? What do you think you are Aidan? You will never be a dark, and you will never be worthy of me! Just go back to your light bitch and leave me be. You don`t belong here!"
She screamed as loud as could at. Tears ran slowly down her maw, she wished Noor was here. Noor would calm her down. She parted her librims, still furious but now at herself for letting him see herself like this. Weak and emotional.
"Don`t think I won`t kill you Aidan. You might not be but I am, I am a dark. I swear to Eruheran I will rip you to shreds if you dare act like you have any right to be angry with me!"
She snarled darkly and completely fed up. She just wanted to be alone and wanted to get over him. She wanted to heal and feel whole again.

There was a sudden pang of hurt in his chest at her words. Had she really meant the words she spoke? Orbs flashed with hurt then anger. He moved forward and paced around her bodice, towers flat and teeth bared. He nipped harshly at her but missed on purpose.
"I suppose you're right. I'm not worthy of such a dark wench. You're pathetic."
His voice dripped with malice as he spat the words at her. He turned so he stood back in front of her. The tears falling from her pools tore him up inside and he didn't know why he was acting this way. Though he couldn't help the amused chuckle that rose from his throat.
"I know you wouldn't kill me. You couldn't bare to live with yourself. A dark you may be but even darks can love and never want their loved one hurt."
He couldn't stop the spiteful words from flowing off his tongue. He snorted loudly but continued to stare at her.

Badra shook her cran, trying to rid herself of her tears. She snarled as he paced her and nipped out at her. In return she attacked swiftly aiming a bit at his shoulder. If she succeeded her ivory pearls would rid his flesh easily. She smirked at his words she even laughed as he had. Was he serious? This sun kisser was really challenging her? Dark royalty. One of the true shadowed. Very well.
She shook her cran as laughter shook her shoulders.
"This is ridiculous, you`re right I am too much like my mother to want to kill you."
She said with a wide smile. Her pools watching him. She hung her cran as more laughter escaped her maw. With that final action she turned and walked away a few steps. She paused her cran looking over her shoulder at him. Her librims parted to reveal one last snarl.
"But you know, I`m too much like my father to walk away."
She snarled, from deep within her. She felt the need for bloodlust in her veins, to rip flesh and feel the pulse of her dying victim. She spun around and quickly charged at him. Her head aimed at his barrel, hoping to knock him down or at least to make him stumble. She drew back slightly before attacking again for his nape. Her jaws extended to reveal ivory pearls. She aimed to kill and with an aim like hers it would take a miracle for her to miss.

Aidan side stepped to get away from her ivories but didn't succeed. He hissed as he felt his flesh rip. He stood motionless after that. As she began to laugh he was slightly confused. Snorting, he pawed at the ground ignore the pain shooting through his shoulder. How could she? What had he done besides claim a meaningless fea for his sire.
"Brada I thought I knew you better than this."
His orbs never left her even as she started to walk away. He knew something was up. Towers flickered at her words then flattened once more as she charged at him. He quickly darted to the side and threw his hind pillars at her, not trying to miss nor trying to hit. He snarled at her as she made another charge. As she extended herself to attack at his nape, he tossed his crown around to counter her attack. He moved to the side and reared up, thrashing his daggers about. Landing with a loud thud he looked to Brada.
"Stop this nonsense. I don't want to fight you, Brada."

Badra skidded to a stop easily. Her small bodice had missed the daggers with ease, along with a little dodging on her part of course. She snorted at his words. He didn`t want to fight, she would use her intelligence on him then. Provoke him.
She strode forward, invading his space and pushing him roughly with her chest.
"Don`t act like you don`t know what happened. I was the Aidan. I was there! Do you understand what that means? I heard when she asked if she would be yours or your father`s. You hesitated. Dammit Aidan you shouldn`t have to hesitate you should have known right then and there the answer!"
She pulled away giving him space, she was panting from the yelling and when she was running. She parted her librims once more.
"You wanna claim your a dark? Fine, prove it. Fight me. Real darks Aidan, real darks, abuse their femmes all the time. So what your gonna let a femme win? Go back to the sun kissers, you will never be ones of us."
She snarled, provoking him again. She was furious and she didn`t want to talk. She wanted to fight. She was to rip him apart till she had her revenge till she wasn`t angry anymore. She didn`t want to be angry she really didn`t and it wouldn`t go away. She knew she had to feed it`s hunger in order to move on. In order to mourn.

Aidan simply stepped back as she invaded his space, pressing her chest up against his. She had gotten it all wrong. He waited until she was finished talking, hoping she would calm down. Yeah, right. She wouldn't be calm for awhile.
"You have it all wrong. You should've trusted me enough not to think i would choose a simple fea over you. I never gave you a reason to doubt me! So why now!"
His tone rose higher in volume with each word he spoke and by the last words he was practically yelling. Not so much at Brada but just from frustration. He shook his crown. He wouldn't harm her. Ever.
"Fine, I'll go back to the sun kissers Brada. If that is what you want. I will never fight you. Never."
He was trying to keep himself as calm as possible. Maybe Brada and his sire were right. Maybe he'd never be a true dark. Maybe he should just give up and return to his sire and dam. Maybe they would accept him back into the herd he left for her. All for Brada. He took a step toward her and lifted his velvets near her sonar. He whispered for only her to hear.
"I hope you find someone worthy of you, unlike me."
He pulled back and let his gaze linger over her for a moment longer before stepping back. His pillars itched to run but he stood still, not wanting to leave her. How quickly his mood had changed, maybe hers would too.

Badra watched him with pained pools. She had been there. She knew, she heard. Was he saying she was a liar? Why would he even consider taking that whore? It was supposed to be his fathers. But he was tempted by another and he would be in future. She was selfish and greedy. If she was going to have him she wanted him all to herself.
She looked at him and could feel his pain as well. She knew she was her mother`s daughter too and couldn`t hold a grudge for long. She could leave him thinking she still loved him and couldn`t be with him for another reason. She could do that for him at least. Her sonar picked up his whisper and she backed away. She couldn`t give into her emotions, not this time. She parted her librims and emitted her own soft vocals.
"And I hope you find yourself a light queen."
She said softly, her voice weak. No, it wasn`t good enough. She stepped forward slightly and parted her librims once more. Her gaze moved to Aidan`s pools.
"Aidan, we both know this can't be, we've known it from the start. That doesn't mean it isn't true, it is, it just cannot be. I want to know that you're alive somewhere thinking of me from time to time. I want to know that there's more to this life and I can't know that if they kill you and that`s what they will do. Think of Legesain, his niece with a light? He would kill us both and if it got far enough any family we ever had together."
equinebabe - October 2, 2006 03:39 AM (GMT)
Aidan saw the pain in her pools and wished he could take back time. But he did not have those powers. Shaking his crown at her words, he snorted. He did not want a light queen! He didn't want any other besides Brada. She would be his queen forever more. He watched her back away.
Crown tilted slightly, hearing her words. They were painfully true. He extended his nape and gently nuzzled her. He gazed at her a moment longer then turned and galloped out of the land. There would be a time he would return to her, but for now they couldn't be seen. Darks and Lights never mixed. It always ended in tragedy. Wait. His dam had been a dark! Sire a light! That meant there was still hope for them. Even if it was a thin strand, he would hang on until he died.
Glancing over his shoulder, he had to look at her one last time. He nickered softly to her before turning his attention back to the path in front of him. Hopefully his sire would welcome him back. Even after the fight.
