Legesain walked in the beautiful terrain `pon cautious pillars. `e didn`t want to many equines knowing `e had returned just yet. Espeically none of the lights. `e had returned to this romantic geo once more to see it`s undying beauty, for days of war when `e could revist one happy place in `is life.

`is pillars came slowly to a stop, as if on it`s own. `is pools took in the scene before `im. `is visionaries fell over the small waterfall, nothing compared to the large one that the terrain was well known for. But even in it`s size it offered a place of privacy. The waters reflected soft lights onto the stone wall behind the falling water. As the water it the bottom the soft sound of rushing water met that of falling and made music for all to hear and be soothed. However, this did nothing for Legesain. He sighed, at least he could remember once place that was once happy to him.

The young painted demoness walked casually within the forest. There was something nagging at her to go to the waterfall. Normally she ignored feelings like that, but maybe this once it was a good idea. She continued on at a brisk graceful trot, jumping over logs and dodging around trees.

Kasumi stepped out of the forest and onto the soft lush grass. She lowered her poll to grab a bite of the tasty treasure before she started walking again. The scent of water rushed to her senses along with that of a beast. One she knew. Her pace quickened until she reached the waterfall. She stood back a few yards, watching the crimson king. He seemed to be at ease and relaxed. She didn't want to disturb him.

L4egesain moved not one muscle. He stood, like a statue of rememberance and pain. His facade held a far away stoney look, an dhis pools shone with the heartbreak he had been feeling. He had heard Kasumi coming even before she had entered the terrain. He could feel her urges to enter the beautifl geo before even she had realized them.

And when she thought not to disturb him, he heard that too. Her hesitation. And in turn, he too was hesitant. Ignore and continue to think about the light bitch that brought him such pain. Or forget and move on. His parted librim held the answer. It was time to move on and he would like to help forget his pained memories with no other than the dove, Kasumi.

"`Lo Kasumi."

A simple sentence was emmitted from his vocals. Nothing with great meaning, but enough to let her know. To let her know he did not wish to be alone anymore.

" 'ello Legesain."

Her tones were similar to his. She did not want to be alone either. Three years of her life and she had been alone. Searching for a father, searching for revenge. But now that was all behind her. She was a bit hesitant but shook it off and walked to his side. Her crown lowered slightly and she nuzzled his shoulder gently, not sure how he would react.

Legesain extended his nape slightly and nuzzled her in return. His mug traveled slowly down her jaw and her nape. He lipped her shoulder softly before pulling away. He could still feel the warmth of her pelt `pon his own. He savored the feel of her soft frame. He only wished she would be there forever.

He knew better. Dancer left, and she would too. He knew of nothing else, he knew of no love that stayed with him. That didn`t rip his heart out then spit on his dying frame. He only knew heartbreak and pain. But he was the King of darks, wasn`t this how it was supposed to be. Were the darks ever meant for a life that they enjoyed.

His pools took in the beauty`s apperance. He said nothing, just taking in the moment. He wanted to remember. If he was supposed to be on his damnned land for all eternity, he wanted to remember.

Kasumi closed her eyes to the feeling of his cool maw 'pon her warm pelt. She leaned slightly into his touch and as he pulled away she looked up at him. She could see the hurt and heartbreak in his eyes and wanted to do anything to rid him of that pain. Feeling sorry for him would do no good, she knew not of heartbreak or of love so she could not sympathize with him.

Words meant nothing now. She could've said, everything will get better with time. But did it really? Maybe for the lights, it seemed everything always went right with them. Her own dam had died of depression from heartache. She believed it to be true when every other said she was merely weak. She had vowed to herself never to let love break her, yet here she was standing so close to a stag that they were almost touching. Vows were meant to be broken.

Extending her nape, she reached up and played with his silk tassels.

Legesain`s nape extended once more as he felt her touch `pon his tassels. He turned his maw to hers and gently lipped her mug. He took a step closer to her and playfully lipped the underside of her maw. Tender moments, that`s all that was needed.

They said time heals all wounds. He did not believe that. Time merely allows the mind to forget and push the harm to the back of your memory. Covers it with good memories and selas it deep within you. But you never forget. It is always there, waiting for something to remind you of it.

He stepped closer once more. Their chests almost touching. He could feel the heat of her pelt radiating off her and towards him. He wondered slightly if she could feel the coolness of his. His maw reached out slowly towards her own, longing for that tender touch only she could give him.

Kasumi pressed her maw to his and nickered to him softly. She took in his masculine scent and a small smile spread across her velvets. She felt happy but really, how long would it last this time. Some say things get worse before they get better. Well in her life, things started out good then they become worse. There was dread deep within her, she tried to push it aside, not sure why she was feeling it.

She nuzzled his shoulder and nipped at him playfully. She took a step back and tossed her crown up. A smirk now dressed her velvets and she slowly began to walk around him. Teasingly, she flicked him with the end of her banner.

Legesain snorted slightly as he felt her nip. In turn he tossed his crown up as well. He pranced slightly as her banner flicked his frame slightly, His nape extended out towards her traveling bodice. His librims grazed softly at her back and rump. He nudged her shoulder and ran his maw softly down her nape.

He tossed his crown as his pools followed her movements. He wondered what she was thinking, what she was planning, and most importnatly what she felt.

Kasumi nickered to him once more and she leaped forward, arching her back in a playful manner. She flicked his shoulder with her tail as his velvets grazed her back. She stopped her fooling around and stepped closer to Legesain. She tapped him softly with her banner then ran her maw up his nape. Her velvets parted to speak but she closed them with a shake of her crown.

Legesain`s nare flared as he took in Kasumi`s sweet scent. His maw moved toward her as he ran his mug across her soft pelt once more. He ran his maw slowly down her nape, shoulder and back. A nicker was emmitted from deep within his barrel. Pools caught her hesitation with words. He pulled away to face her. His pools showed his concern.

"Is something wrong?"

He asked through parted librims. Vocals rested as he said no more. He closed his librim once more as he awaited her response. He trusted her enough to tell him what was on her mind. But if he needed to, he could always read her thoughts.

When he pulled away to face her, she shook her crown and pressed her nape against his. Gently nibbling at his withers. She wasn't sure what she was going to say. Was it to tell him what she felt? No, that couldn't have been it.

"It's nothing."

She could see his concern. He shoudn't be concered about her. She pressed her body against his, his cool pelt feeling good against her own.

Legesain draped his nape across her back. His mug rested lightly on top of her rump. He traced her curves softly before bringing his mug back to her back. His chest pressed gently against her`s. He decided to let whatever Kasumi was going to say go; he trusted Kasumi enough that she would tell him if she really wanted him to know. He raised his mug up near her sonar. He parted his librims slightly and emmitted vocals from his maw.

"I am calling a meeting for the darks later. I will be looking for you there."

He promised, his tone a soft whisper. His words meant for only her ears. His every word dripped with a passion and lust he held back in his movements. Though he would never say, a part of him was afraid to fall in love again. Especially after what happened with Dancer.

Kasumi trailed her maw down his neck and across his back. He kept making her body shiver and tingle with the small movements he made. It was a weird feeling but she welcomed it with an open heart. She had no reason to doubt love but she was scared to admit she had fallen head over hooves for him. She hadn't felt so safe or happy around any other equine. Her pelt tingled at his passion and lust filled promise. Half of her was glad he restrained his lustful moves but the other half was disapointed.

"I'll be waiting."

She whispered her own promise softly to him. She took a small step back to gaze at his red eyes as she pressed her maw gently against his.

Legesian stared back into her pools. He loved her. He wasn`t unsure about it anymore and he wanted to tell her. If they were going to war she should know. In case....she should know. He parted his librims but when he tried to speak all that came out was a sigh. He gulped slightly before trying to speak once more.

"I love you, Kasumi, I want to spend what time we have on these mortal lands together. I want you to be my queen and perhaps carry my heir."

He said in a rush, he was immediatly embarrassed. He probably scared her by now. He turned away to face the water and looked angrily into it.

"I shouldn`t have said that, I apoligize."

He said softly, he would never forgive himself if he had scared her off.

Kasumi was a bit taken back by his sudden proposal. It did not scare her off. She smiled at his embarrassment. She nuzzled his shoulder gently and nipped at his maw, silently telling him not too look away from her.

"I would be honored, Legesain."

She told him in gentle tones. She would never have to face another day alone. Well at least for a long while. She pressed her side up against his and flicked him softly with her banner. Extending her nape out, velvets brushed close to his sonar with another gentle whisper.

"I want you to know that I love you too."

Legesain sighed softly in relief. He smiled at her words and nuzzled her tenderly. He parted his librims slowly.

"I am sorry if I seemed foward with the whole... heir part. I guess it`s just the worry of war that...well something will happen and my terra will be left to Jezebel again."

Kasumi nuzzled him gently once more. She lipped at his mane with a slight playfulness. She enjoyed just standing there with him. She would be more then glad to bare him an heir.

"I understand, Legesain. I'll give you an heir if that is what you wish."

He tossed his cran playfully as he lipped at him. He gently nudged her shoulder with the tip of his mug. He reached out and softly ran his maw down her nape in a loving nuzzle. His sonar pricked forward to hear her words. At once he was filled with joy.

"Then allow me to lead the way M'Queen."

He said, his tone a soft whisper.

A small smile graced her librims. Kasumi nuzzled him affectionately as spoke. She parted her kissers for soft lyrics to drift to his towers. Gently, she pressed her nose into his mane before taking a small step to the side.

"Of course My King."
