Slowly the young demoness walked into the lands. She was dreading this moment and had been the whole way here. There would probably be a lot of trouble once the king was brought back. Her sire should be doing this, not her! She snorted and came to a halt at the summit ridge. Her gaze rested on the canyon below.
Finally they were at their destination. She turned her gaze to behind her. Rebel wouldn't be to far behind. Kasumi could tell she was dreading it too.

Rebel walked slowly behind. Not because of her foal, he was actually a few feet in front of her, but because of herself. She couldn`t help but fight this urge to grab her foal and just run. As fast and as far as she could. What was she doing? Would her actions tonight be responsible for more horror to come.
She drew to a stop behind the femme. Sad pools watched her. What was she doing?! Her voice inside her head screamed and cursed at her to stop. Her vision turned to her young son, so happy and carefree. Tears escaped from her pools and ran down her maw in a fluid motion. Librims parted. Please dear god, whichever one was listening let me say I can`t do this and give me the strength to go home. At this point she even prayed to the light god.
"Summon him."
She heard, a soft dreading voice. Full of regret and sorrow as soon as she said it. She closed her pools and simply let the tears fall freely.

After hearing the words, Kasumi turned her gaze back toward the low canyon. Orbs closed tightly as they waited. A cold breeze blew through and it shot down her spine, causing her to shiver. She turned away from the ridge. She opened her orbs to look at Rebel and took a step toward her, seeing the tears fall freely down her face. Time seemed to move slow as the dread washed over her again like the ocean tide.

Rebel became deathly still for a moment. Her pools became dull and lifeless. Yet still she stood. Her heaving barrels stopped with her ending need for breath. Yet still she spoke. Her pools clouded over, to a point where it was unmaginable seeing out of them. And yet she looked directly from her son to Kusami.
She stopped her low and quite murmuring and her vision was pure once more. She looked at the femme one last time before walked towards her foal. She quickly nipped and nudged him, herding him out of the forsaken terrain.
A young stag, or marble pelt stepped from the shadows of the undergrowth. His bodice seemed to glow with a black aura. His pools stained an unusual red. Imperfections were no where to be seen. Unusual for someone who had their throat ripped out before death. His pools took in the scene before him. He looked at himself, before looking up at the beautiful dove that stood before him. She reminded him of an imperfect Dancer. A Dancer that was perfect to him. He could easily tell, she was not good nor kind. But a dark like himself. He stepped forward quickly, but stopped himself realizing she probably didn`t know him. His damned librims parted so that she may hear his damned curses.
"Be it you that summoned me?"

Kasumi's orbs locked on Rebel as she watched the princess run off with her foal. Being alone in this place creeped her out a bit. Though she was not alone anymore, she could feel the presence behind her. She spun quickly around only to have her orbs feast upon the handsome beast. His quick movements forward did not bother her and she would've stepped to him if her pillars would've moved.
"Yes m'lord."
Her gaze tore away form him as crown was tipped to him in respect. She looked to him once more, his eyes so unnatural red, yet her own icy blue were just as unusual. Kasumi remained unmoving as the two gazed at each other.

Legesain moved a few steps forward. He stopped a foot or two away from the enchanting femme. He listened to her song silently. His cursed sonar drank her every word. His pools took in her every movement.. His nape extended slowly and carefully. His mug came in contact with her own and he paused. He lightly ran his mug upward along her jawline and down her nape, slowly and softly.
He pulled back with a realived expression. Hr could not believe... His librims parted as he withdrew from her presense.
"I am free."
He said in utter disbelief. He looked around. Where was Rebel? What had happened to the darks? What had happened to his home? Then he remembered Dancer and the lights, they had yet to pay. He looked around him for the exit out of this terrain. His pools traveled back to the femme. He parted his librims to speak to her.
"Are ye the new Queen of darks?"
He asked her, his tone stronger, demanding, more leader like. He was free and there were things to get done and things to rebuild.
Kasumi - September 18, 2006 03:49 AM (GMT)
As his warm muzzle touched her pelt, her orbs instantly shut. A shiver ran down her back at the soft feeling of his mug. She extended her own and gently touched his nape. She pulled back quickly as he pulled away. A slight nod was directed at him as she took in his words. Kasumi was a bit surprised at his question. Surely, she had not the beauty of the Queen.
"I am not. Your sister is the Queen of Darks. I am merely a daughter of a corrupted hellion."
Icy orbs seeped with hatred for her sire as she spoke of him. But when she looked into the red devil like eyes of the chestnut beast, all hatred vanquished. Though it was an impossible wish, she wanted to be his Queen.

Legesain took in the news with a laugh. He tossed his head in enjoyment from the statement. He finished laughing and rested his gaze `pon the femme once more. He parted his librims so that he may explain his outburst to her.
"Forgive me, but my sister queen? Aye, she has beauty but she is not much of a leader...or a dark for that matter."
He finished his explanation with a slight laugh. He looked around the terrain once more. A thought came to him suddenly. Th devil himself could come to these lands if he wished it. Or any other god. He wished not to make his presense on the mortal lands known to many just yet.
His mug stretched out again to softly nudge the beauty`s shoulder.
"Come...let us take our leave to my terrain."
He said, his tone once more that of a leader. He did not both to ask the femme if she had another, a protector of sorts. Did it really matter? Or would she really turn him down? If he said he wouldn`t miss her facade or he wouldn`t be disappointed it would be a lie. Without any further words he turned `pon his mighty haunches and led the way.

Kasumi was more surprised at his outburst of laughter. She shook her nape, tossing her mane up. She chose the words carefully, not wanting to anger him in any way and smirked slightly.
"Ah, but she was the only one to step up after you're passing."
As he spoke of his next words, she noticed the strong sense of leader in them. This hadn't seemed like a bad idea that she had Rebel summon him back. She parted her librims to speak up and decline his offer but she stopped herself. She had a home, did she not? No, that place was no home. It was more like a torture chamber to her. Where she could not escape the binds the captor had. She wanted a place she could call home and that was certainly not with her sire. She would hope for the best and follow Legesian to his land.
