Title: Characters you don't like

Ok, is there any character in the movies that you don't like and if so why.
I don't like Denethor (but I love John Noble), because I hate it how he's treating Faramir. I always can cry, when he's sending Faramir into battle in ROTK.

I know this won't be a popular answer but for some reason I get really annoyed by Arwen. I can't put my finger on why - it's nothing to do with Liv Tyler, she's a great actress and very beautiful. But when I'm watching the movies at home I always skip the Arwen/ Aragorn bits!
The only part I like with her is in FOTR when she is saving Frodo from the ringwraiths.

This could proove an unpopular choice but there is one part where I actually cringe and don't like Eowyn and that has to be when she says "I am no man!". I know that line is from the book but the way she deliveres it reminds me of a cheesy hollywood line. Hate it!

That's ok. We don't blame you for your opinion :D . I understand what you mean. The scene in the book is really great, but it could be better in the movies. Can't tell you how, but it's not one of my fave parts too.

OK, I'm ducking as I write this but...
I didn't like Aragorn. The accent shifts bothered me, as did the hair. Shallow, but I can't help it :(

Lol - it's ok...everyone is allowed their opinion...although I have to say that I love Aragorn in the movies...think he made a mistake getting together with that elf with the big lips though.....

I LOVED Aragorn! (Heck I love Viggo Mortensen!) On my flight to Boston I saw Hildago........Great movie and one I recommend everyone to see! ( In fact while I was in Boston I picked it up and watched again back on my way home.........I own a portable DVD player...........) :D
