Shane slowly wandered through the heavily wooded area, the moon shone high in the sky, beating down on her. She felt the urge to change and go for a run but decided against it, she wanted to speak with Adelphous about becoming a part of his pack first. Her wolf moved impatiently within, wanting to be set free but knowing it had to wait.

She neared the safe house, climbing over a fallen tree stump and made her way over to said place. She got there and knocked on the door, hoping the pack leader was in there tonight and not out hunting. When she had her own pack, she usually had them going out for hunts with her each night, though that was when they had lived in enemy territory, nothing was safe. They were constantly watching each others backs and always had to be on high alert.

It was definanty going to be a different experience for Shane to not have to be on alert 24/7 and constantly on the move. That was another thing, with her pack, they never had one place to call home. They moved around to different countries and states, never staying in one place for too long.

Sat in the zen garden facing the woods at the back of the house, Adelphus took in a deep inhale once more of the cool night air; soothing both he and his wolf as they continued to meditate. The scent of Shane on the air was not expected and caused Adelphus to crack open an eye to watch her approach through the trees. Shrugging softly, he closed his eye once more and continued his steady breathing, following the female's progress with his nose and mind.

Sat as he was, he was hidden from view from all but those loking from above, and he gave a slight smile, a twitch of his lips, as he heard Shane knocking on the door, no more than a few feet away from him. Speaking softly, not wanting to startle her as he always kept his energy contained when meditating; manipulating it within himself for the first half before letting it loose to explore their territory towards the end of the meditation, Adelphus watched the female as he was sat cross-legged in a kimono of black silk edged in white on the collar, cuffs and hem, not so common wear as it used to be for him.

"Are you looking for me, Shane?"

Shane walked towards the meditating Adelphous, admiring how he could do that and speak all the while looking completely undisturbed. "Yes actually Ulfric, I came to discuss becoming part of you pack. I know things are different here." She explained as she sat down near him, trying not to disturb what looked to be a peaceful state of relaxation.

Her eyes took in his kimono, she thought it very fitting and the silk was absouluty beautiful. She remembered seeing some of the men and women back in Japan wearing them all the time, gorgeous material in different colors. "I like your kimono by the way Ulfric, it's very beauiful," She complimented him.

Smiling as Shane approached, Adelphus took in a deep breath and let out his energy so that it was at a slightly higher than normal level for him, letting the taughtness he had kept it at within his body dissipate; bringing a sensation of relaxing every muscle in his body at once so that he gave a soft sigh of relaxation. Once he had enjoyed the moment he bought his power back down to the usual low hum he had around the Pack, enough to be a comforting sensation rather than being nothing at all or a skin-pricking wash, and blinked slowly to focus on Shane better after having his eyes closed so long.

Resting his hands on his knees as it was as comfortable a position as any to stay in after the meditation, Adelphus watched her sit down and nodded at her words then gave a soft laugh at her compliment to her kimono; thinking of the ones up in his room that were designed for formal functions or for when he wanted something a little less plain.

"This is just a plain one, Shane, but thank you all the same. Well, you already know that you are welcome in Puteulanus Luna, but yes we are very different to the Army. Here you don't have to greet me as you did at the Station unless it is a comfort to you, can move into the house or stay where you like, and have the choice over anything you do rather than me coming in at dawn to wake you up. And loads of other joys, but i'll let you decide what is and isn't such for yourself."

Chuckling softly, his voice having held the sound of a smile the entire time he spoke, Adelphus glanced at the house, seeing a light turning off on the second floor, then looked back to Shane.

"Though you have chosen the time when the ones who do stay here are going to sleep. I hope you don't mind it being just I to keep you company?"

Shane took in the surroundings of the woods, it was heavily wooded and dense for as long as she could see through it. The trees bunched up together like broccoli. She smiled at the comfort she felt in the area she was at and looked back over at her new Ulfric, listening to him talking about how things here would be a lot different, a lot less strict within the pack.

She liked that, less rules would be relaxing for her since she came from a military pack and they centered everything around rules and regulations. She also liked how laid back Adelphous seemed to be, not harsh like her former Ulfric before she had taken over the pack herself. She smiled at Adelphous and responded to him.

"Thank you Ulfric, you are very kind and I appreciate everything." She smiled, "I am very much use to the rules of the army but I think this will do me good to have less rules and more freedom than what I did have. I actually have a house close to here near the beach but I may reconsider just moving here instead so as to be with the pack."

She paused for a moment as her wolf became alert, there was some sort of game out there in the woods, a rabbit perhaps? Or deer? She was unsure but her wolf now paced around, wanting to go hunt. She looked back over at Adelphous once more and responded to his second statement, "Not at all Ulfric, I am honored to have you keeping me company tonight," She smiled, "Perhaps we could go on a hunt together right now if you have no other plans?" She waited for his response.

Nodding with a smile as Shane mentioned moving into the Pack house, Adelphus rubbed his palms together and opened them slowly, looking down at the heat generated by his rubbing as it dissipated into the cool night air.

"If or when you decide to move, let me know and i'll get a van and some wolves to come help you if they don't mind."

Tilting his head and watching as both Shane and her wolf came to attention, scouting out the trees, Adelphus gave a lazy smile as he picked up the scent of deer on the wind. He hadn't gone hunting for the sheer joy of it since Haley, and his wolf cautiously pricked up his ears and nuzzled Adelphus gently; asking silently if now was the time. They didn't want to dissapoint Shane, and they had to let themselves settle back into normal life for the sake of themselves and the Pack.

Standing and stretching to ease his body out of the cross-legged position he had held for over an hour; Adelphus returned the smile to Shane then stared out to the trees where their soon to be quarry was meandering.

"It would be a delight. I've never had the occasion to hunt with another Ulfric past or no, and it is a chance to show you the Lupanar and our territory."

Undoing and slipping his kimono and under-robes off his frame and padding on bare feet towards the gazebo in which there was a genuine stand for the kimono for such moments as this, Adelphus padded back to Shane in just black underwear and waited for her as he let his energy build beneath his skin until it was a skin prickling rush just before the point of bursting from his skin as his wolf form.

"Ladies first."
