Title: Here comes trouble...
Description: TAG :: OPEN
Katt Marshall - July 1, 2007 09:23 PM (GMT)
Katt moves at a normal pace through the dark streets. Her black leather pants fit tight against her skin, giving her the freedom of movement that she enjoyed. The same went for her black tanktop, freedom of movement and the added bonus of showing off her tattoos. She walks with her head held high, deciding to take a shortcut through the alleyway next to her favorite club. It doesn't take long for the two men hiding behind a dumpster to step out in front of her, hoping to catch her off guard and have a little fun.
Katt stops, rolling her eyes and crossing her arms in front of her chest. "Fucking great," she mutters, allowing her eyes to settling on the two men in front of her. They smelled of booze and the acrid scent of drugs, but under it all, they smelled like fresh meat. They were human, and she knew it. But, dollars to donuts, they had no clue what she was.
One of the men steps closer, a leer spread across his dirty face. "What's the matter, baby? Not in the mood to have a good time?"
The other man steps into the light, closer to his friend, but not as far up. "We can change that for you," he says, his voice promising thing Katt was sure she wouldn't like.
A slow and rather strange looking grin creeps it way across her lips. "Oh no, I'm always in the mood to have a good time. Problem is, I don't think you'll like my idea of fun." Katt alows a touch of her power flow out of her and towards them. A low growl comes from her throat as she steps into a patch of light. The light catches in her now blue wolflike eyes, staring the pair of them down and continuing to growl.
Both men freeze, their fear hitting her nose, pulling another growl from her. The sound of that growl brings both men to their senses. Without a word, they both turn tail and run at full tilt out of the alleyway. It takes every ounce of self control Katt has to keep herself from following, swallowing hard as she forces herself not to hunt down that prey.
Moments later, she opens her eyes and takes a deep breath, another smile curving over her lips. "Now, that was a good time," she says with a small chuckle.
Jake Hunter - July 1, 2007 09:51 PM (GMT)
Jake walked along the streets. People clearing out of his way and staring at him. Some got in his face and he simply brushed past them. He didn't have time to bother with them. As he passed an ally way he caught a hint of lycan power and turned to look. Walking in silently he stopped and watched a tattoe coveredwoman and a couple of guys running away.
Leaning against a wall he crossed his arms and thought of speaking but simply stayed quiet. He didn't need to speak, he knew that if she was lycan that she would have smelt him by now. Besides even if she hadn't he had no need to clue her in that someone was standing behind her and watching her scaring the piss out of a couple of guys.
Katt Marshall - July 1, 2007 11:13 PM (GMT)
Katt stood there, watching the empty space ahead of her that the men had left behind. Suddenly, the scent of wolf hit her nose, clueing her in that there was a lycan close by. She lifts her head, slowly turning around to see a man leaning against the wall towards the mouth of the alleyway behind her. She nods her head in his direction, letting her arms fall to her sides.
"You know, it's rude to stare," she says, smirking a bit at him.
Jake Hunter - July 1, 2007 11:27 PM (GMT)
Jake looked at her and raised an eyebrow slightly. He didn't respond. He simply stared quietly at her before pushing off and walking towards the mouth of the ally. Getting back onto the main steet he glanced around before looking over his shoulder to her. He was curious about her. He let a small smile show before it dissapeared.
Katt Marshall - July 1, 2007 11:31 PM (GMT)
Katt watches as the man pulls himself away from the wall and turns to leave, stopping long enough to send a small smile her way. Katt can't help but let a small laugh escape her and she begins to walk forward, moving fast to catch up. This was an interesting one.
"Hey, wait!" she calls out with another laugh.
Jake Hunter - July 1, 2007 11:33 PM (GMT)
Jake paused, deciding to go with what ever reason she had for talking to him and waited for her to catch up. His head slightly tilted to listen to her footsteps before he turned to face her. "Yes?" Was all he said, his face was a mask of emotionless features. He didn't seem to have any real one's to speak of.
Katt Marshall - July 1, 2007 11:37 PM (GMT)
Katt comes to a stop beside him, blinking. "Well... shit. I didn't really expect you to stop," she says, a ghost of a grin on her face. "You enjoy watching girls scare the hell out of possible rapists in the middle of a dark alley, or was there another reason for standing there, staring?"
Jake Hunter - July 1, 2007 11:39 PM (GMT)
"You're a lycan." He said simply. "you let your power come out and scared those me. I was passing and happened to notice." He placed his hands in his pockets and looked at her. "A good idea but foolish if there's bounty hunters around." He stared quietly into her eyes, his own a light yellow and heartless.
Katt Marshall - July 1, 2007 11:42 PM (GMT)
"I figured taking a chance was better than letting those asshats get close enough to even breathe on me," she says, wrinkling ehr nose a bit. Katt nods her head at him. "You're lycan. I can smell it." Her voice stays even, quiet and calm as she tilts her head. This one was very interesting.
Jake Hunter - July 1, 2007 11:45 PM (GMT)
He watched her quietly before starting to walk again. If she followed then she could, that was her own wish. His cellphone went off and he opened it. Speaking into it. "Yes?" He listened quietly for a moment. "Understood." He snapped it closed as he jumped into his hummer and looked ather. "Come or stay it's up to you." He started the hummer up.
Katt Marshall - July 2, 2007 12:08 AM (GMT)
Katt follows him as he starts to move, raising an eyebrow as he answers his phone, speaking in short one word answers. She watches as he stops at a hummer, opening the door and climbing inside.
"I'm coming," she says, moving around to the other side of the vehicle and moving inside. "Where am I going, anyway?" she asks with a chuckle.
Jake Hunter - July 2, 2007 12:10 AM (GMT)
"To a hostage situation." He said, "Liutenant Jake Hunter of Miami SWAT." He drove off without another word and hit the light bar on top of the hummer. The loud siren could be heard as he whipped around the corner. "I"m also Jake Hunter of Cerberus Mercenary Unit. Sniper."
Katt Marshall - July 2, 2007 12:15 AM (GMT)
"A cop and a merc? Well, ain't this my lucky night," she says, raising an eyebrow with a grin. "Well, I'm Katt Marshall of nowhere in particular." Katt nods her head, moving her hand up to hold on to the 'oh shit' bar as Jake whips around a corner. "You sure it's ok to bring a civvie in to something like this?"
Jake Hunter - July 2, 2007 12:19 AM (GMT)
Jake let the hummer streighten itself out. "Course not." He said dully. "But... you chose to come." He said in a dead pan voice as just a second later they slid to a stop and he jumped out. He walked around to the back of the hummer and opened it. Pulling out a British SAS snipre rifle he loaded three rounds into the clip and nothing more..
Katt Marshall - July 2, 2007 12:32 AM (GMT)
Katt's body moves forward a bit as the hummer slides to a stop. She watches as Jake slips out of the vehicle, walks around to the back and pulls out, in so many words, a big fucking gun. She watches as he loads only 3 bullets. She wonders if she should follow, but damn it if she didn't want to see this. Slowly, she slips out of her seat, closing the door to the hummer behind her and following Jake.
Jake Hunter - July 2, 2007 12:39 AM (GMT)
He talked to one of the officers, who pointed to the building acrossed from them. "Incompasitation or...." The officer shook his head. "Just incompasitate sir." Jake nodded slightly and walked over to his hummer. He lept up onto it and stared at the building. His eyes spotted three red marks pointing at him and his body moved down and spun to the side as if in slow motion. Bullets rippling past his head, side and chest as he avoided all three and brought the sniper rifle up with one arm. There were three loud cracks and three screams of pain before the other officers started to run into the building.
Moments later they drug three suspects out, each one with a bullet wound in the same area on their shoulder. He heard a soft pat and saw a spark beside his foot. He flipped off the side and grabbed her, Pushing her back against the Hummer. "There's four you idiots not three." He growled as he reached into his hummer and pulled out a forth bullet and slipped it into the chamber. He walked around the side and brought it up to his shoulder and steadied his aim. After a couple of seconds a loud crack was heard and silence. "Target has been eleminated." His voice sounded cold and heartless. As if he didn't care that he'd just shot a man through the head.
Katt Marshall - July 2, 2007 12:52 AM (GMT)
Katt stands there on the sidewalk, watching Jake speak quickly with the officer. Her eyes follow him as he leaps up on top of the hummer, bringing the gun up with him. A gasp catches in her throat as the bullets fly from the building towards them, not from fear but from excitement. Her eyes never leave Jake, watching the fluid movement as he brings the rifle up and fires all three rounds. Katt hears the sound of the officers running past them to the building, dragging out the men that had been shooting.
Suddenly, Jake is pinning her to the hummer, reaching past her for another round and calling out that there were four. Before she knew it, another shot rang out in the night. She blinks, breathing out slowly as he speaks, saying that the target was eliminated.
Yeah, this one was very interesting.
She lifts her eyes to his face, tilting her head and looking at him.
Jake Hunter - July 2, 2007 12:58 AM (GMT)
Jake looked amazingly calm for what had just happened as he lowered his gun and looked ather. His adrenaline was pumping hard but his body didn't show any signs of his excitement high. He placed the SAS back in it's case and looked to her. He spoke into the headseat he'd put on "Situation is under control, bring in the medic crew and get those bastards out of here." He listened for a moment. "Are they safe?" He waited and let out an audable breath. "Alright." He looked up into the building. "Child was shot..... mother raped and father killed." He walked around to the drivers side. Once more showing a lack of emotions though inside he was torn up at the loss of innocent lives.
Katt Marshall - July 2, 2007 01:05 AM (GMT)
Katt blinks when he says what had happened, then moved off to get into the hummer. She stands there for a moment, her eyes moving to the now injured men fighting with the officers as they were shoved in. A slow burning rage began to build inside her, taking every bit of her self control to get back into the hummer and not stalk towards them, wanting to see their insides on the outside. She sits, closing the door behind her, her hands moving to her lap and clenching into fists. "Sick fucks," she mutters, her tongue playing with her lip ring as she tries to calm herself.
Jake Hunter - July 2, 2007 01:15 AM (GMT)
Jake drove off without a word really spoken. "Where do you live... i'll drop you off if you want." He said to her. He didn't care one way or the other if she came back to his place or had him take her home, if she did come back home with him. Thats what guest bedrooms were for.
Katt Marshall - July 2, 2007 01:32 AM (GMT)
"I don't have a place yet," she says, breathing deep as she tries to calm herself. "Been kind of crashing wherever I could for the time being."
Katt closes her eyes for a moment, letting her anger wash out of her and she relaxes her tense shoulders.
Jake Hunter - July 2, 2007 01:36 AM (GMT)
Jake nodded slightly and looked at her. "Then to my place it is. He said as he turned and got onto the highway, heading out to the beach area.
Katt Marshall - July 2, 2007 01:40 AM (GMT)
Katt turns her head to look at him. "You barely know me and you're going to let me stay at your place?" she asks quietly, tilting her head. Here she was, in a car with a man she had just watch shoot four people, one of which was now dead. She felt safer than she had in a long time, but it was still strange.
