Description: TAG: Scarlet

Shane Richardson - March 12, 2008 07:30 AM (GMT)
Shane struggled to make her way through the long line of people trying to get in the door of the club, smiling at several women who'd winked and grinned in her direction. She shook her head in amusement, it seemed she tended to draw attention to herself at times from the same sex, not that she was complaining. She was just getting tired of not having a challenge, someone who'd make her work for it.

Upon realizing that she was about to start getting emotional with her thoughts, she quickly made her way inside, slipping through the sea of moving bodies, trying to get to the bar. She could feel strangers bodies rubbing against her own as she walked as fast as she could to the bar in the back. Finally, she reached her destination, sitting down on an empty barstool and waiting on the bartender to serve her.

He finished up with the customer before her and turned to her, "Can I get you something sexy?" He winked at her.

Shane groaned and rolled her eyes, "Don't call me that please and I'll take a corona with lime."

The bartender winked once more at her before turning to make her drink.

Shane gritted her teeth, wasn't how she was dressed tonight show that she wasn't a straight woman? She had dressed in a pair of black dress pants, a white tank top, and a black overjacket with a black tie. She couldn't understand how the stupid male could possibly think she would be interested in him, she shuddered at the thought as the bartender placed her beer on the table beside her and walked off to the next customer.

Shane took a sip, hoping her night would turn out more fun than this.

Scarlet Morti - March 12, 2008 01:27 PM (GMT)
Scarlet finally was too pissed off for words, she shrugged of the tight sensation in her shoulders that seemed to have knotted up all her muscles and sighed. Walking past a club door she stopped slightly, admiring the many people that were huddled around the entrance trying to get in. Her mind ran over the details of their… Laid back smiles and laughter… something Scarlet had not had.

Deciding she would check it out, she walked up to the entrance. She walked past many people in the line her face was cool, cold and stern. She looked up at the large guy at front and didn’t feel any sense of worry. After all she worked as a bodyguard and killed more people than a policeman did. Well that’s if you call vampires people.

No words were said, dark looks were cast her way but people could always feel her cold nature and didn’t mess. And Lycans or vampires could feel her Animator power, and what se heard it wasn’t really … ‘Warming’. She looked around surprised with the people and their clothes, looking down at her own leather-killing outfit she had put on she sighed.

Walking throw some people backed off, others cast side looks but only a few, in which Scarlet guessed weren’t human, walking up to the bar she wondered what to order. She wasn’t really a drinker but the night seemed worthless without some fun. And for once she didn’t mean that in a killing sense.

The man raised his eyebrows as Scarlet steeped forward, “ Ill have your strongest liquor in a large glass… cant me assed with a mouthful” she said to him eyeing the guy next to her that seemed to be drowning his world in little shot glasses. To her other side however was a woman … she thought. She looked at her closely but didn’t comment they seemed to be the only females in the room not dressing like sluts.

Turning to the man she whisked him off the seat and took it herself, sitting in a straight position she made sure her daggers were not visual. Taking the drink from the bar tender she took a sip. Her face reddening slightly as she felt heat roll down her throat.

Shane took a gulp of her beer, listening to the woman beside her ordering a drink, her hearing perked up catching the end of her sentence to the bartender. Out of the corner of her eye, she watched as the woman sipping on her drink, Shane smirked, she always liked a woman who could handle a drink like a man and this one obviously could. She took in the womans attire discreetly, liking how she was dressed much differently than the other scantily clad women in the club, leather clothing, she liked it.

Shane sniffed the air, catching the scent of something not human, something...animator. She glanced back over at the woman sitting next to her and raised a brow, so she was an animator...very interesting. Finally Shane turned her head, facing the woman, "So what kind of drink is that that you ordered?" She asked the woman, trying to make conversation as the bartender walked around, winking at her, Shane rolled her eyes at him in disgust and kept her attention focused on the woman next to her.

Scarlet turned to the woman besides her and guessed it was addressed to her, maybe the fact she was the only one sitting next to her.. or she was looking at her. She paused and looked down at the drink and shrugged making a small face at the drink before she raised it “ To be honest I don’t have the slightest clue..” she said her eyebrow going up slightly “ But what ever it is its gotta drown out my life so its strong” she said to her easily.

Scarlet was never the talkative type really, the last discussion she did have was with a fellow animator, who which ran off to the bathroom to be sick… scarlet doubted that was a good thing. She gave a small smile “ Im not really a drinker and haven’t actually been in here before” she said shrugging slightly, Scarlet just wasn’t a ‘people’ person.

Taking another sip of her drink she felt the slight pull drown her throat, she rolled her shoulders and new the night would be long. “ And yourself?” she asked her a she picked up the slight sensation that rolled down her neck, her animator powers had sensed that of an animal. Which scarlet had no clue but it put her off slightly. She changed position so her daggers were easily retrievable as she watched the woman.

Shane smiled, so this woman had ordered a drink and had no clue what it was, just that it was strong. Her smile turned into a smirk, it sounded exactly like something she'd do when she really needed a stiff one. She voiced her thought aloud. "Interesting, something I'd do too though for tonight I just decided on a beer." She tipped her corona in the womans direction.

At her other statement and question, Shane replied, "It's a new club that just opened up a few days ago, I got a flyer for it in the mail and so I thought I'd check it out since I have no assignments for today." The officer who usually called her when she was needed to come in and take out someone had yet to ring her phone so she assumed she was off for today and would just go to work as a police officer in the morning tomorrow.

"So, what's your name?" She asked her, "I'm Shane, Shane Richardson." She extendened her hand to shake the womans in a friendly greeting, almost having to shout her words over the loud music playing. "I'm new here to town, only been here for a week. You?"

Scarlet Morti - March 14, 2008 03:34 PM (GMT)
Scarlet listened closely to the woman, throwing her concentration on only her voice as the music was soon backed out. She smiled slightly, yet still politely. A smile she used on the customers the entered her office asking for a new husband, wife, friend to be animated…. Her eyes looked at the beer and just nodded “ Yea If my boss wasn’t a pervert that had his way out to complicate every situation and the police on my ass for jobs id go for a beer to” she said absent minded as she spun the glass around and took another gulp.

Scarlet pouted slightly as she looked at the woman’s hand outstretched towards her, a gentle frown rising over her head as she didn’t understand the female lycan, and why she seemed to be playing ‘nice’. She gave another polite smile “ I’m Scarlet” she said not offering a last name. Though she took a mental note of the woman’s name, you never know what you can find in peoples files…

Scarlet looked at her and shrugged lightly, taking a sip of her drink she smiled “ Well I have been here long enough to know What is what” she said empathizing slightly on the ‘what’ noting she new the woman wasn’t human.

Shane listened to the woman, "That blows, my boss knows not to be perverted with me or I won't do the jobs he asks me to do." She laughed and took another sip of her drink, "I use to work in the military, trained firearms specialist and strategist; I was the one who'd infiltrate enemy territory..." She paused slightly wondering if it was a good idea to be sharing so much information with this woman she'd just met...smelling the air once more, her wolf senses told her she wasn't a threat, to her anyway.

"Nowadays since I finished up my four year service, I came here for a permanent residence. I work on different assignments for the police, mainly 'snatch and grabs' they tell me who to go after and I do it. Undercover police work I suppose you could say." She shrugged and took yet another sip of her beer, at hearing her name, Scarlet, Shane smiled. That was a pretty name, at least she had a girls name and not a guys name like hers, she voiced this aloud. "That's a pretty name, at least you weren't given a boy's name." She chuckled.

Taking one more sip of her beer before setting it back down on the bar table, her ears perked up at the next sentence that Scarlet had said, she could sense, smell that that sentence was her way of letting Shane know that she knew what she was. Shane hated this part because every time she started meeting someone new, possibly gaining a new friend or anything like that, once they found out what she was, they ran away or tried to kill her before she could get another word in edgewise.

Turning her head towards Scarlet, she took a deep breath, hoping the woman let her finish her sentence at least and responded, "I suppose you can tell I'm not human, I don't normally like to tell people right away as it seems to either make them run off or try and kill me, hopefully you won't do the same. I am a lycan, a werewolf. I was turned before I went into the military, attacked by one. I didn't have any help or anyone to turn to except for my girlfriend whom left me once I decided to go in the military, writing to me to say she wasn't going to be responsible for anything that might happen to me. So I stayed for my four year sign up and was gradually accepted into a pack, eventually becoming their alpha female before leaving after my four years were up. Thats when I came here to start over." She stopped speaking, curious and hopeful that she didn't just scare this woman away.

Scarlet grinned, “ That’s a way to go, though if I don’t do the jobs I lose a very big penny” she said to her and took a swing at her drink. Coughing slightly as she listened to the woman’s words. She smiled lightly “ nice training you have there then, I would have liked to go to the army” she said to her truthfully.

She watched the woman’s reaction to her words, surprising enough she didn’t see the usual hate, anger but a slight hope and worry. Scarlet thought nothing of the girl turning furring when she liked, for once it didn’t seem to bother her. She smiled and panted the woman’s arm; winking slightly “ Your secrets safe with me” she said to her and rolled her shoulders.

Turning around at the sound of a glass smashing; her eyes came to fall on to rather big middle-aged unshaven men. She rolled her eyes and cleared her voice “ Come off it guys, next time you want to throw a glass let me drink it first” she said and turned back to the woman as she complimented her name “ Thank you, I think Shane is a nice name” she said smiling, it suited the woman she thought.
