Title: Moonlight Beams around the Headstones
Description: ATTN Rhianna, Open
Adriana Raggio - March 4, 2008 09:37 PM (GMT)
Pulling into the parking lot of the cemetery, which seemed to become her second home, Adriana got out of her car and went to pop the trunk to get her bag and the chicken needed. Work had quited a little, tonight she had an appointment with Kevin Randall, an attorney who she had seen a lot for is clients, he seemed to specialize in will protesting. Speak of the devil she thought as she saw him come out of his Mercedes a yard or so away.
"So much for my small time alone before he showed up" she muttered before headed up to the gravestone of one Elisa Ramirez. "Ms. Raggio, it is so nice to see your lovely face again." She smiled politely at Kevin, trying not to roll her eyes at him. It wasn't that he wasn't attractive or charming, she just couldn't stand him. He was a lawyer and made a living off of trying to prove some snot nosed brat deserved 22% instead of 20% of the family earnings. "Hello Mr. Randall. And I have told you to call me Adriana."
Since it was only one raising, she decided not to change from her office wear. She quite enjoyed the way she looked in the scarlet red top, her black slacks and the high heel black pumps. Gabriel's words came back to her about wearing sensible shoes and she smiled. "Your clients ready Mr. Randall?" He nodded and they both began walking to the gravestone. As Adriana cut her own wrist a little to deep, but continued along without missing a beat. The ritual was quick, and it seemed the daughter wasn't going to get another dime. Her mother didn't think she was such a good person, or apparently a virgin- which Adriana had to bite her tongue. She knew enough Spanish to know when Elisa began rambelling about all the men her daughter had slept with and the choice words she called her to know that it was finished.
Rosa, the daughter, had left in a hurry, plainly upset that she still wasn't getting a dime. Adriana could only shake her head as she cursed at the headstone. "I don't think that is going to help Ms. Ramirez." She turned and glared at Adi and then ran to her car. Kevin didn't seem to get the hint as she began cleaning herself up and packing her bag. "Is there something else I can help you with Mr. Randall?" He just watched her for a bit longer and then spoke "Do you have plans tonight?" With a sigh Adriana gave him a soft smile. "I actually have a date" she lied, but couldn't help it. "Figured I missed my opportunity with a gal like you" he said before heading out to his car.
She looked at the cut on her wrist and winced as she moved it. The blood was still running, but not as profusely as when she had first done it. "Damn it" she said as she broke loose a half formed scab. Reaching into her bag she found a bit of gauze and wrapped it around her wrist. Hopefully it wont need stitches she thought. She went to her tree, or thats what she referred to it as, and sat down trying to stop the bleeding.

Rhianna flew out over the cemetery, arms spread out as she landed softly on the ground, smoothing her black dress pants out and her silk white shirt from it's windblown look. She decided to seek a place out that wasn't so crowded as she had discovered that the beaches were even at night. The cemetery seemed like a perfect idea for peace and quiet.
The fog rolled around, covering the ground in a white mist as she walked through, her hearing picking up at the rodents scurrying around trying to gather food.
She wandered around for a bit in no particular direction when she sensed that she wasn't as alone as she had thought she was. Something was there, something human and...bleeding. She could smell the sweet scent of blood and followed it.
Walking as silently as.. well...as one of the undead, she slowly approached the injured human, a female human. She could tell the human was having trouble staunching the bleeding and called out, half hidden by the shadows of the night, "Need any help Miss?"

Looking at the gash in her arm, Adriana decided she didn't cut a major artery and wouldn't need stitches. It still hurts like a son of a bitch, she thought. Placing the gauze back onto the cut, she closed her eyes and tried to focus on something other than her heartbeat she could feel in her hand. She felt her power head out in search of the dead as she relaxed. Her eyes flew open as she felt the walking dead brush against it. No it wasn't Gerard, someone else...
She then heard the woman, who she was sure felt her power brush against her own. Without thinking, her she moved her hand to her cross eliciting a small gasp of pain for moving it so quickly. Adriana stood up, brushing her black slacks free of the grass, not wanting to be at a disadvantage with a vampire. Making sure to stare at her shoulder, which was easier in the dark open night as opposed to a room, she gave a weak smile. "Yes I am fine. Just had a bit of an accident, but nothing serious. Thank you." Adriana quickly went for her bag, it held her only weapons if worse came to worse with this vamp.
Adriana didn't hate vampires, the exact opposite actually, but it was better to be safe than sorry. A vampire didn't automatically earn trust, just as any human who would have approached her in the middle of the night at a cemetery. If it wasn't a lawyer or a fellow animator Adriana was cautious. "Is there anything you needed help with? I know this cemetery like the back of my hand." She knew it well, maybe it wasn't something to be so proud of, she thought.
Rhianna Almendarez - March 6, 2008 07:11 PM (GMT)
Rhianna stepped out of the shadows, letting the moonlight fall on her as she moved closer to the human. Noticing the cross on her neck, she drew back a little, not wishing to scare the human and wind up injured by her necklace.
She noticed how the human....she felt the power of the human...no...necormancer, she saw how she adverted her eyes away from her. With a smirk she thought, 'Smart lady.'
"Thank you but I was just wandering around, I'm not really looking for anything here in the cemetary, I just needed to clear my head. My name is Rhianna." She extended her hand to shake the necormancers, "What's your name?"
Adriana Raggio - March 11, 2008 03:45 AM (GMT)
Noting the smirk on the vampires face, not exactly knowing what it was from, Adriana proceeded with caution. Extending her hand and barely giving a grasp to Rhianna’s hand, she watched their hands, making sure to keep her eyes averted from the female’s in front of her. “Adriana. Pretty name, Rhianna. I understand what you mean about coming here to clear my head, I do it often actually.” Yes Adi, just tell the vamp you spend your nights alone in a cemetery so she can come after you easier, she thought.
Adriana looked down at her wrist; it had stopped bleeding, as long as she didn’t move it she wouldn’t splice open the tender scab and she would merely have another cut to explain to Gabe. “So, Ms. Rhianna, just buzzing around town till you spotted a nice quiet headstone you wanted to relax near?” she asked with a laugh to her voice.
Rhianna Almendarez - March 11, 2008 03:36 PM (GMT)
"Thank you, I like yours too." Rhianna replied, smiling at the necromancer. She laughed at the last thing Adriana had said, with a smile she replied, "Actually I prefer to sit near the trees rather than a headstone, it's too weird for me. It's just so peaceful and silent here, it a good place to come and think or just have time to yourself. What about you? What are you reasons?"
Adriana Raggio - March 13, 2008 01:48 AM (GMT)
Adriana smiled at the compliment. She nodded about the headstones being weird; Adriana didn’t even walk over graves. She could feel the presence of the dead under the ground and just steered clear of them. Remember the rules of the council, kill necromancers on sight… Pushing the thought out of her head she decided that she should be more vague than necessary. Give her a lycanthrope and she would chat their ear off about what she did for a living. Knowing vamps could smell a lie, she chose her words carefully. “I do work out here.” Remembering her slip of power which found the vampire, she sighed and just told her what she already knew. “I am an animator.” Adriana watched her reaction to this news carefully, she was sure she had just stated what the vamp already knew, but what would it hurt?
