Description: ATTN: Darla. possibly Gerard

Guy - February 22, 2008 04:33 AM (GMT)
Guy sighed as he entered the estate of Darla Giselle Strigoi once more. It had been several months since he had left, though he had heard regularly from his Unkinddess that he had left behind. He was slightly concerned about some of the things Darla had done. She had certainly attracted attention that she WOULDN'T like in Europe. He had been called back to Vienna by the Master of Vienna who was also his Sourdre de Sange to give the Magnus Scientia information on the happenings in America.

He was now back in Miami. Whatever else, he stilled owed the Lady of the City his allegiance. She had offered him a place in her kiss and the chance to build a place for himself as such instead of treating him as an expendable minor pawn to be expended for amusement or minor gain.

Of course, he now came as somewhat more than himself. He came with a small sign from his master for Darla. It wasn't much, and certainly not an open declaration, but those who's attention that had been attracted would recognize it, if Darla accepted.

Darla Strigoi - February 25, 2008 11:28 PM (GMT)
Feeling Guy enter the estate at the exact time he had said he would arrive, Darla stood beside her desk with one hand trailing on the dark wood and kept her eyes upon the double doors to her office. She had already been doing business in the room and so rather than leaving the room only to bring Guy in just for the purpose of show, she remained and waited for him to be shown in by a servant.

As Guy was shown into the room and the doors shut behind him by the servant, Darla waited for his greeting silently, body immobile as she stared at him casually. It was not anger, she just simply did not bother with blinking.

Guy smiled at Darla as he bowed to her in imitation of their first meeting. After an acceptably long interval he extended the crest of the Hapsburgs to Darla, the cignet of the Master of Vienna. Carefully making note of her response he began to recite his message to her, "Greetings Darla Strigoi, Master of Miami from the Master of Vienna. He prays you are well and that you be mindful of attention you attract with your actions."

Remember Darla's temperment, the Florentine vampire took two steps backwards and bowed again, "And on a personal note, I am happy to return to Miami. My service rests once more with you, milady."

Darla Strigoi - March 15, 2008 03:35 PM (GMT)
Motioning to Guy to raise from his bow, Darla returned the smile he gave her faintly, her interest in what he had to say of his old Master overuling her desire to appear friendly. Taking the extended crest, pale fingers running over the ebony wings of the two-headed great bird, Darla arched an eyebrow as she examined it; sure it was genuine, then looked back to Guy as he spoke, all pretence of her smile faded to neutrality.

"I shall have to personally write to the Master of Vienna and thank him for his interest in my well being and actions."

Though her words were neutral, almost sounding pleased at the interest, Darla inwardly thought to the Master of Vienna and his own actions. Such as the presumption that he could ask anything of her pertaining to her own actions within her lands. Nevermind, she had many within Vienna that would be all too happy to perform certain tasks for her should she decide the Master had become a little too inquisitive.

Seeing Guy step backwards and sink into another bow, Darla turned her torso so as to enable her to place the crest on her desk, then turned fully back to the vampire with a light smirk playing at her lips, back to her normal expression.

"I am glad at your happiness to return, Guy. You shall of course relate to me the permitted details of your visit to Vienna; it has been many a year since I have visited and my memory grows almost faint of it."

Guy - March 20, 2008 03:17 PM (GMT)
Guy didn't try to hide his reading of Darla's response to the crest. "He will be pleased to hear from you. Your, disregard, shall we say, for convention is much admired. He prays that if you psss 'the crisis' you might visit the city anew with your entourage."

The male vampire, now relatively certain that Darla wasn't going to inflict any great harm straightened up and relaxed to the mroe normal expression he wore for Darla. "Vienna itself is much hte same as always, though different again as well. The scars the humans caused have healed and brought a breath of the new. They even have these, what do Americans call them, oh yes, 'fast food' restaurants now."
