Physical description:
When you first look at Emma, you think that she is just a little 18-year-old girl that is average. Then if you give her a second glance you will notices that she is much more complex then that. Emma is standing at five feet and three inches tall and weighing only 120 pounds. She is very petite for her size.

Other than being a petite girl, Emma is considered attractive. Her baby fine brown hair that is trails down her back just a little longer then her shoulders. When on her own time Emma will pull it back or just leave it alone. However, while with Darla and Gerard all of her hair must be in a perfect place.

The next thing that you notice, other than her size, is her face. She has a heart shaped face. Emma’s eyes are a bright blue. Traveling down her face, you notice her somewhat blemished face but other wise dark rich complexion. Then slowly moving to her lips, that is plump and usually dry. Emma will only have a clear lip-gloss on her lips and no other make up on her face.

Then moving down to the rest of her body Emma has slender shoulders and arms. Her chest is not what you would call small or large, just medium. She has a flat stomach (because of all of the running) with a small scar on her side from when she cut herself playing on the monkey bars. Slowly traveling down her body Emma has a little bit wider of hips then normal in which she got from her mother.

Soon coming down to Emma’s legs, they were very short and thin, however very muscular from all of the running she does. That was something that Emma hated about herself. She had short legs and it was very hard finding pants that fit her right. Then again, it was even harder finding shoes that fit her right because she had small feet. Emma wished she had legs like her stepmother’s, whose were long and sexy.

Personality description:
Charming, obedient, well educated; only a few of the things that would make up Emma McClain. She has been raised to be a proper lady in the vampire society of Miami. Emma has to sides to her personality, one in which the outside world sees and one in which she is on her own or with her family. Both of these personalities are what make up Emma as a whole, it is very easy to see how she is different from society and in her home life.

While relaxing at home when Emma is with Gerard or Darla, she’ll sit on both of their laps, kiss them innocently, and want to be more closer to them. Ever since she was a baby Emma has had an unusual attraction to vampires, Gerard things that it is since she is a necromancer that this affection has grown more stronger over the years. It seems as if she only wants to spend her time with Gerard and Darla then any other member of the two households.

Also at home, Emma is very involved with her studies that Gerard has pushed upon her. Emma has learned eight languages, and three of them are already a dead language. Her levels in both science and literature are elevating each year. Though, her mathematic skills have been falling recently due to her lack of focus. Emma has been struggling with mathematics since she was younger, but Gerard has stopped all of her other studies until her grades improve.

Emma is a innocent girl at times, but the exposure she has gotten from her family has tainted some of that innocence. She still has not experienced things that girls her age has done. Emma has a very intense desire to be normal yet she wants to be closer to vampires, it seems after years of trying to balance both of these desires Emma has given up more of her desire to be normal.

It seems as if there is a certian je ne sais quoi about Emma. She has a passion inside of her that will only flame up around her mother and other family members. There has also been on occassion that her emotions will get the best of her, and this fire will flare. This could cause problems in the household for Emma, and a punishment will be resieved. It has been over eighteen years for Emma to master this abily to keep her emotions in check, but still has failed.

While in the political world of vampires, lycans, and the media a new personality will emerge. Emma will not cling to Gerard so much as when they are alone. Also she will only speak with spoken too, as to when she is home Emma will talk when she pleases. At attending formal events, Emma will greet and charm both vampires and lycans in a manor in which she does not do with ones she is around daily. These are all things that would show her in an outward personality.

When the occasion calls for it Emma will be a charming girl who can be very deceiving or seductive. However, the latter is only if it would gain Gerard & Darla something form the deal and if not then there is no need for her to be that kind of person. Emma knows not on how to seduce someone, but she does know a little from what both Darla and Gerard have taught her over the years.

History:
Emma was born in American to Jessica McClain. Her father was killed by a lycanthrope before she was born, so Emma never really knew her biological father. Soon after Emma was born, however, her mother moved to Miami to further her career as a necromancer. Only after a few months in the city, her mother started to date a powerful vampire, Gerard Anlui. Their relationship was more complicated then normal. Her mother was only one of Gerard’s lovers and so she had to share him with many other women. One of those other women was Darla Strigoi, Master of the City of Miami. (She would soon become another mother figure in Emma’s life.)
As a young infant, Emma became more attached to Gerard more than a normal child should, because she had inherited her mother’s necromancer gene. She spent more of her nights with Gerard and days with her mother. However, with both of them were busy she was taken care of by the staff at the Anlui Manor. Then on the weekends she would be sent over to Darla’s house for some fun when the Master wasn’t busy.

When Emma started to grow a little older, Jessica realized that she was becoming less and less like her child and more of the child for Darla and Gerard. Emma was placed into preschool as Jessica had requested, and there she started to grow and develop many social skills with the other children. However, it seemed that they were most interested in where she lived then who she was and some of the kids teased her saying she was a freak. Emma hated school and didn’t want to go back, but Jessica insisted that she go.

At the age of six, Emma had become very good friends with a girl from her school named Natalie. She went to slumber parties, played at the park, and even went to a few birthday parties. She didn’t even have to tell them about her family being vampires because they could play human very well if need by. Also, with her after school training in her necromancy Emma had a very good handle on it. To her necromancy was like breathing to her. It seemed that she was finally having a normal childhood.

However, nothing really stated normal for to long in this kind of world let alone for a young girl. In the time period that Emma and Natalie were friends, Natalie’s cat had died by getting run over. Emma saw how distraught Natalie was and wanted nothing more then to make her feel better. So she told Natalie about being a necromancer. Then before they knew it both girls were in Natalie’s back yard trying to raise her cat. Then once Natalie took the cat in to show her parents what they had done, Mr. & Mrs. Coleson weren’t so thrilled about it. After calling Emma’s parents to come pick her up it seemed that it was the end of Natalie’s and Emma’s friendship. Then that night Gerard had sat Emma down and explained to her that she wasn’t allowed to do something like that ever again. She raised the dead unsupervised and without his or Jessica’s permission.

In that same week, it would be the last time that Emma would see her mother until months later. Jessica felt that Gerard and Darla were turning her daughter into porcelain doll. She wanted Emma to live a normal life and it seemed as if she would never get that. Jessica fought as hard as she could to take her child away from Gerard and Darla to raise her as she wished, but she knew that with her line of work and lack of money they courts would deem her an unfit mother. So Jessica chose to not drag this through the court system and leave on civil terms with Gerard, she left for France. Emma would be able to see her mother once a month for the following years.

As the years passed on Emma had been taken out of a public school and was tutored in the Anlui Manor. She learned languages, art, science, mathematics, and many other things. It seemed like her family wanted her to be the best at everything and to become this perfect daughter. Though at this age Emma knew that Gerard and Darla weren’t really her biological parents, but they were the only thing she had to call family.

Normally if Gerard was working and he couldn’t get out of business Emma would go and stay the night with Darla. This was when Emma got into a lot of trouble because Gerard seemed to spoil her more than Darla would. Emma at times hated to go and stay with Darla, (who she now saw as her mother figure in her life) but she couldn’t deny that she loved Darla as well.

Emma was around nine years old when she had gotten into the obsession of the latest teen singer trend. The weekend she had stayed with Darla was the same night in which the concert was happening. After hours upon hours of fruitless pleads Emma would not be allowed to go to the concerts because it seemed that it was to dangerous for someone in her position. However, this didn’t occur to Emma so as she spent more of the night badgering Darla about this topic and soon became so frustrated with her Emma threatened to walk out of the house and go back to Gerard’s house. But before the night was over Emma found herself more scared of Darla and for her life then wanting to go to a concert.

Though most of Emma’s childhood she wasn’t that bad of a child. However, once she became a teenager Emma started to speak up for herself a little more. It wasn’t until she reached the age of fourteen until she went to her first formal social event. The “family” was hosting a rather large event for the Master of Atlanta in order to tighten the bonds of a treaty. Throughout most of the night, everything had gone smoothly and it seemed as if everyone was enjoying themselves. It wasn’t until after dinner when there would be dancing and mingling with the guests did things take a turn for Emma.

After being allowed to go talk with some of the younger guests, Emma’s attention started to surround a certain boy who was only a few years older than her. He was cute and charming, and come to find out he wasn’t a guest of the party after all but the caterer’s nephew. This new information didn’t bother Emma because she wasn’t going to ignore him because he wasn’t rich. In fact, Emma started to develop a small infatuation with him, because he was the first real boy to take notice to her. Also, she kept the fact that she was raised by vampires to herself. After spending a little under and hour alone with this boy, Emma had forgotten about all of the events that was taking place inside. Her only thoughts were about the time she was spending with someone who wasn’t from her normal routine. Though when she was unexpected when the boy stole her first kiss, but still Emma was thrilled to finally have this memorable experience. Or at least it would be one if she hadn’t gotten caught by her guardians.

Once this event has taken place Emma was soon kept under strict surveillance. She had a set agenda for each day, and would have at least a guard with her at all times. It seemed what little freedom Emma did have she had lost with one simple kiss. Though this new constriction on her life did provide useful time for her studies. She excelled in many different areas, and learned the political cultures of many of the paranormal creatures.
Writing Sample:
Night has not yet fallen, nor has the moon and stars graced the city of Miami with their beauty. All of the vampiric angles still in their coffens dead and lifeless as a corpse. Although there is always an exeption to the rule, and not all of the vampires wait until night to come out and play. Oh no, ones of power are the ones in which Emma McClain calls family.

Wondering through the house waiting for her mentor to awaken from his daily death, Emma could not wait a moment longer. She wished to once again know the feeling of that cold flesh upon her own. In this moment it seemed as if Emma would never again know this wonderous feeling. As if night would never come, and the dark monsters she called so dear to her heart would never rise. Such a tragic thought for one so young.

Not being able to take this torment any longer, the young girl set out to the room of one in which she called family, mentor, lover. The servents of the manor knew not to stop her nor to advise not to enter the room of their master's. Emma glided her way into the room as if she were not walking at all but more of floating lightly, as if at this moment she were a vampire herself moving towards her prey. However, the one laying in the bed of silk and sweet smell of celone was no ones prey.

A small smiled played across Emma's face as she gracefully walked over to the bed of silk and sin. Slowly as if not to wake him, though impossible, Emma knew that the vampire in which she longed to be so near to would not wake from her movments. As she slid into bed and into place, a hand on his chest and head on shoulder, Emma waited for this corpse to once again breath life. She waited for him to once again grace her with his pressence.
And the rest:
Anything else? … Jason and Sarah doing kill me?

Did you read the rules? Oui, ma petite.
