Title: Doctor, doctor. I think I have fleas!
Description: {Tag Amber}

Sierra Claire - January 19, 2008 12:44 AM (GMT)
Her eyes opened big and wide like a child’s eyes as they gazed upon the pile of presents underneath a Christmas tree. Unfortunately Sierra did not spy presents with her little eyes. She let out a little breath, a gasp if you will. She had forgotten what pain felt like. The pain she faced in her head was nothing compared to the pain she faced now. Her arms dropped themselves from Amber’s shoulders as she slowly but swiftly brought them to the source of the pain. Her stomach. She could feel the warm sticky solution and without looking down she knew what it was. Blood. Blood the color of red, dark, dark red.

She tried to take a wheezing breath as she managed to not look down at the wound. If she saw how bad it was....she was most certain she would drop dead within the next second. Somehow she thought that if she avoided looking at her own accident then perhaps she would live a bit longer...if only for an extra minute or two. Her eyes met Ambers and she knew that her own eyes were asking Amber ‘Why?’ She hadn’t expected this to happen. She hadn’t expected this to happen in the least.

She was set down on the ground- she was surprised however that Amber didn’t let her thud and fall to the ground. She closed her eyes not wanting to see what Amber would do to her next. She could feel the pain and now all she could think about was the pain. But the pain didn’t want her to think about the pain. She closed her eyes feeling more discomfort as something was happening with her stomach. If she could think she would have thought the woman was ripping out her intestines.

She drifted off her arms spread lazily to the side going any which way. She lay immobile. Would she wake up in the morning or was she dead? Those were questions someone who trespassed upon her would wonder. And here was this young girl all alone in a place no one would spot till the next time the room was used. Tomorrow just had to be Sunday?

Four Days Later

She stirred in her bed as she tried to move her hand. She felt cloth on it or some material of a sort. The pain hit her in a wave though it was less then what she thought she had felt. She hadn’t opened her eyes yet. She was still trying to get a grip of the pain. Just because it wasn’t fierce waves of it did not mean that it didn’t hurt. And it didn’t mean that it didn’t take her breath away.

She groaned as she tried to wiggle a bit. Her lungs emptied as she sent the old air out of her lungs and struggled to fill them again. Don’t get mistaken, it wasn’t hard it was just something unexpected for the first time when you feel such a pain.

She opened her eyes. Why she hadn’t opened them earlier was because of the pain and cowardness. She was actually pretty scared.... The white light astounded her for a moment. If she had tried to speak (if words found her mouth) she probably would have asked if she was in heaven. Though she only thought it now....

She was surprised to find that she could tilt her head. She could also move her arms up and draw them towards her—though she had restrictions because of the tubes and assortments of things going into them. “Uggh” she managed to speak. The thought of tubes and other things filled with liquids going into her...grossed her out. She closed her eyes almost instantly, wishing the sight and the sounds from the machines would go away.
