Title: Finding Peace...In a Cemetery...
Description: *Open*

Adriana Raggio - January 12, 2008 08:46 PM (GMT)
Adriana had just put the fourth zombie of the night back in his grave and exchanged goodbye's with the deceased children, who, to her surprise, weren't money hungry brats like she had first thought, but wanted to just say goodbye to the biggest influence in their lives. Adriana felt ashamed she had assumed the worst. A bit jaded Adi?

She had been working rather hard lately and had lost a little of her cherry mannerisms when it came to certain situations. After watching the few cars pull out of the parking lot, Adriana found the big oak tree that seemed a staple of the cemetery and sat down beneath its branches, the moonlight filtering though and casting shadows before a passing cloud made it dark once again.

Taking a deep breath, Adriana leaned her head against the trunk and closed her eyes. How many people would think it odd that she felt so at peace among the dead? Her parents would most likely be appalled at the idea, but Adriana was just listening to the wind against the grass and smelling the salt from the ocean drift inland on the breeze. Yes, a calming night among the dead was all she needed.

Willow Vercillo - January 12, 2008 09:38 PM (GMT)

Willow walked calmly across the cemetery, her barefoot pottering over the soft earth of the newest graves, she smiled up at the moon as for once she felt a lifting of her heart as the worries of moving down to Miami were cleared, she had met Arraka, who to her surprise she though went well, and was soon to meet the mistress of the city, a shiver ran up her spine at the thought.

Walked she turned, feeling drained slightly as her snow wolf lay dormant within her, she was dressed in a dark burgundy corset top and tight black leather jeans, her hair feel around her in old fashioned curls that stringed gold throw them as her yellow eyes scanned the cemetery.

She started breathing heavily as she felt the dead beneath her feet, dormant as ever yet still she felt there was a presence somewhere among the place, the feeling darted to her shoulders and settled as tension, Willow cleared her throat and started to sing an old lullaby, her soft gentle voice barely leaving her mouth, though the English accent notable easily, the song she used to sing to her mistress as she died each morning. She let the feeling swell within her as the song held pain and happiness only a breath of air, she had always sung at any occasion she could, she loved to sing, was born to sing yet she never had the courage to sing in public.
Not far away her eyes darted to a woman, Willow stopped feeling shy as she made her way over, she smiled at the woman, “ Hello there, fine night I hope I am not intruding” she said smiling loosening her shoulders as she noticed the woman was human.

Kestral Blake - January 13, 2008 08:41 PM (GMT)
Kestral had a bounce in her step as she wandered though the empty cemetery whistling just under her breath. It was surprisingly hard to track down Adrianna. It had involed three phone calls and some pityful whining on her part to finallty find out where Adrianna was suppose to be working tonight. It had been awhile since the last time she had seen the Necromancer and wanted catch up with her friend.

Letting her beast rise up she rolled her power over the rolling hills searching for the feel of Adrianna's power. She felt it a moment later at the same time she smelled Lycan. A wolf was near Adrianna so Kestral picked up her pase letting the hum die as she spotted the two.

She stopped just next to Adrianne who seemed to be relaxing under a tree and a young girl that she hadn'e meet before. She offered a smile as she placed her hands on her hips.

"Hey there Adi" She nodded to the wolf,"How are you?"

Adriana Raggio - January 15, 2008 12:34 AM (GMT)
Adriana felt as if she has fallen asleep against the tree, but asleep was not the right word, she was still attentive and listened to every sound, including foot steps which were coming her way. A few moments after she had opened her eyes, she saw a female figure standing in front of her.

She startled a little, but relaxed realizing she was not in the presence of a vampire, but a shifter, feeling the energy vibrations of the living with her own power over the dead. Feeling it rude to stay seated and look up the length of the woman, she brushed the few twigs and random pieces of brush from her pants and then smiled at the woman.

"No, no. No intrusion. I was just finishing up work and decided to take a bit of a zen moment." Extending her hand she introduced herself, "Adriana. I work in the cemetery quite a bit." With the last words out of her mouth, she saw a familiar face and her attention moved to Kestral the gal she met at the club with the stripper girl. Moving her eyes back to Willow she gave an apologetic smile for having to give attention else where.

"Hi Kestral. Its good to see you again. I am good, resting a bit after I finished my shift. How about you?" Turning with an open mouth as if to introduce the other woman, but realizing she didn't know her name. "I'm sorry, er, I don't think I caught your name."

Willow Vercillo - January 15, 2008 10:32 AM (GMT)
"No, no. No intrusion. I was just finishing up work and decided to take a bit of a zen moment." [/I]
"Adriana. I work in the cemetery quite a bit."

Willow smiled as the woman spoke to her, willow heard the slight faster beat of the woman’s heart as willow knew she must have gave her a slight jump. “ I’m sorry If I made you jump, Its nice to meet you Ms Adriana, you work in the cemetery ?” she said a slight frown creased her forehead as she looked quite perplexed.
Then she felt the distant power of a dominant, she saw the young girl approach herself and the other girl, she took a step back her head looking down as she felt the tigers power roll over the cemetery, a shiver crept up willows back as she looked puppy dog eyes as the human spoke to her.

"I'm sorry, er, I don't think I caught your name."

Willows face paled slightly as she had forgotten to introduce herself, such careless manners would have gotten her punished if she had been with a vampire, she curtseyed slightly and cleared her throat “ Im sorry, where were my manners, I am Willow, willow Vercillo” she said pulling a small smile.

Kestral Blake - January 16, 2008 12:43 AM (GMT)
Kestral offered a grin to Adrianna as she watched her rise and brush the twigs off the back of her pants. She glanced around the place while Adrianna greeted the wolf. Whoever Adrianna's client was they sure took off in a hurry Kestral though to herself pulling her attention back to the group when the Wolf offered a name to Adrianna.

Kestral eyed the wolf when it seemed she was only offering her name to Adrianna. Stepping over she tilted her head as she let some of her power ease out to touch the sub.

"Hi, I'm Kestral. Are you new in town?"

Adriana Raggio - February 13, 2008 08:26 PM (GMT)
Shaking her head at Willow's question, "No, though I am here enough I should be employed. I am a" she hesitated and just explained her job title rather than the metaphysical necromancer explanation, "an animator" she finished strongly. "Its messy, but its a job" Adriana smiled and noticed her baking away and becoming rather timid as Kestral came toward them.

Adi knew the feel of the dead- it was cold and she was used to it, but lycans were always surrounded by hot live energy, something she wasn't used to. Rubbing her arms, she gave Kestral a smile. "I am afraid if you two didn't come along I was going to just fall asleep right there" she said with a laugh. "I am comfortable around cemeteries, but I dont think I am that comfortable."

Willow Vercillo - February 13, 2008 09:19 PM (GMT)
Willow looked up and then back down at the ground «  pleasure to meet you ms Kestral » she said calmly as she felt the power surge threw her, she shivered slightly and took another step back and closer to the tree «  yes I am new her ms, I arrived not long ago » she said quietly.

Turning to the human she smiled «  I see, you have great power ms » she said sensing the power from the woman as well, willow herself did not arise her wolf, as it lay dormant in her as her eyes remained the purest of human.

Willow frowned slightly as she felt the power still coming off of the woman, she didn’t understand «  ms Kestral I hope I do not offend when I ask in which animal do you shift into ? » she said looking up bright eyed at the woman.

Kestral Blake - March 2, 2008 05:55 PM (GMT)

Kestral laughed as she ran a hand over the back of her pants nodding as Adrianna spoke. That did sound like her friend. While it wasn't something she would do it did make sense that Adrianna would be comfortable out here. Taking one more glance around the empty space Kestral drew her attention back to Willow as she spoke.

QUOTE

I see, you have great power ms

Kerstral nodded as she pushed back a lock of hair. She had been raised by Alpha wolves so it would make sense that Willow would be able to sense her power in some way. Kestral listened carefully as Willow continued. Smiling she shook her head feeling her hair swing about.

Willow Vercillo - March 25, 2008 11:21 AM (GMT)
Willow kept her face neutral as she listened to the young woman speak, she nodded and remained at her distance. Time had told her the way of dominants, and the way the sensed the scent pf vampires upon Willow. Which put off most lycans or put them against her.

“ That’s Okay ms, you should not have to hide such a gift” she said to her and bowed her head slightly “ it is an honour to meet you, I must say I have not come across a Tiger In my time” she said to her with a smile.

Kestral Blake - March 25, 2008 09:01 PM (GMT)
Kestral smiled as she nodded rolling her shoulder so the harness strapped across her back settled more and stopped digging into her shoulder blades. She tucked a lock of black hair behind one ear as she spoke again.

"Tiger are really Rare. Most don't leave their family and they tend to have good enough control that they don't infect just anyone. I'm one of the lucky few that's been infected and not born." Kestral paused and chuckled at her own words."Well I guess someone might called it luck".
