Title: See an old friend.
Description: Darla/ Issac
Issac Grey - December 30, 2007 05:55 AM (GMT)
Issac landed with out a sound. And so did his brother, the two old vampires moved toward the entrance in unison. Dahn was only here to take information back to Grey Industries. He was also here for protection if Issac needed it. Issac wouldn't, He held in his hand the reply letter which Darla herself had sent him. That on its own would give him free passage to the door at least.
It felt good to be in a place where he wasn't receiving murderous looks from people you'd never met. But then again, when the average age of the city you come from in 75. Vampires are still closed-minded. Issac stoped, and looked up slightly, taking in the house front. He looked at the detail. The house was exquisite. He remembered having a house much the same once.
His concentration was broken when his younger brother knocked on the large wooden dolls. It was usually Drake who would have done that. But his younger brother was just as good. Issac moved up to the door, hearing foot steps coming to the door which open revealing the silhouette of a young woman. Issac didn't bother saying anything before handing the woman the letter with Darla's writing.
"Issac Grey, I'm here to see Master Strigoi."
"This way."
Issac stepped into the house and followed the young woman after she closed the door. Dahn closed the gap between himself and Issac. Years of playing bodyguard for his brother had made him weary of new places. Issac took in a deep breath. Darla's scent was everywhere. The followed the servant to where they would wait for Darla or one of her servants would collect them.

Sensing the arrival of Issac and another vampire that she assumed to be his brother the moment they hit the city boundaries, Darla followed their progress mentally as they landed within the grounds of her Estate and changed out of her robe and into a linen dress of deep black, remembering Issac's tastes and wanting to have her old aquaintance more at ease for their first meeting in many years.
Trusting her servants to take the pair to her main office as was customary for all newcomers, Darla took her time moving through the levels from her room to the office and arrived at the double doors to the room in which Issac and his brother waited after a 5 minute wait for the two men.
Entering the room Darla gave a slight smile to both vampires though it was aimed more towards Issac and she moved up to them both, nodding to the brother before moving to Issac and waiting for him to greet her. He was, or at least had been to her knowledge, the Master of Ireland so they were on a relatively equal power base, but this was her city and she was dominant here.

As Issac saw the old friend the two old Vampires rose. Bowing deep in unison, Issac bowed as Dahn droped to a knee. A smiled grew on Issac's face as he rose. God it was good to see a friendly face. He stood straight. The tall, 6'5" man held his hands out slightly, offering a hug if Darla would accept it.
"Darla, My dear. How are you. Why, i haven't seen you since London. What an honour it is to stand in the presence of such an old friend who has acheived so much. Still talking to Gerard?"
Issac stood still. Were it not for the smiled and glint of happiness he had in his eye. One would have sworn he was a statue. Dahn remianed on one knee. His old training telling him to do so until he was told to rise.
Darla Strigoi - January 18, 2008 05:35 PM (GMT)
Watching the two vampires bow, the lesser of the two dropping to one knee which was received with a slight approving nod from her, Darla noted the subtle spread of hands from Issac for a hug at the same time as she saw his smile, and though she returned the smile she did not move from her spot. True they were friends but this was her city and as a result he was lower than her, and was neglecting to remember such in his greeting method.
Staying still, her eyes hardening slightly at the mention of Gerard, Darla gave the softest hint of a shrug possible with the movement still being visible even to vampires and looked at Issac with a neutral expression as was reserved for strangers. Until she had been greeted properly they would not talk as friends but as past and reforming aquaintances.
"I am well thank you Issac, you flatter me though I would have to lament your apparent lack of news if all you can find to discuss is rumours put about by the human press. Surely something of interest has occured to you since last we met?"

"I am well thank you Issac, you flatter me though I would have to lament your apparent lack of news if all you can find to discuss is rumours put about by the human press. Surely something of interest has occurred to you since last we met?"
Issac disregarded friendship at the moment. Mastership had changed the vampire. He'd play this like a new vampire meeting the new master. He lowered his bow, he jaw so tight that if it were possible he would have shatter the teeth inside his head.
"I am here to discuss the terms under which you would allow me to find solace in your city, Master. I ask for acceptance into your city and your kiss."
Issac stared at the ground below him. His grey eyes ice cold, showing no emotion as they previously had. His raised his wrist. Not looking up, more because he didn't want to more than he shouldn't.
"I offer my blood to you, as a token of my allegence to you. Take what you deem necessary."
Darla Strigoi - January 24, 2008 06:51 PM (GMT)
Watching impassively as Issac lowered his bow and offered his wrist Darla took it in one hand and pressed her lips to it with the hint of the sharpness of fang hiding behind her lips, close enough that had she parted them her fangs would of punctured through his flesh. It was meant as a sign of her displeasure as to his ignorance of the proper greeting the first time around, but she also wanted to test his nerve in such an offer. His lack of eye contact all of a sudden and the woodeness of his movements was a source of amusement though she did not show it.
Releasing Issac's wrist, Darla moved to take her seat behind her desk and motioned for the two men to take the chairs infront of it as she settled into it and folded her hands neatly in her lap, staring at the two other vampires opposite her.
"I do not see the need for a token of allegiance, you will of course obey by natural order will you not? Nor do I see the source of your authority in telling me how much I can or cannot take, do you, Issac?"
Issac Grey - February 13, 2008 10:19 PM (GMT)
"Ofcourse i will follow the natural order, you are Master. And i was not informing you on how much were allowed to take, my appologies. That were not the meaning of my words. I ment i offer you my blood. Please forgive my misconception."
Issac's words were sincere, it was what he honoustly ment. He wasn't telling Darla how much to take at all. He snapped his neck quickly to the side, causing an un-nerving pop. Issac was simply cracking his neck, nothing more. Issac rose, so did Dahn. Dahn looked to Issac and the two seemed to discuss something very quickly inside their head. Brotherly connections, nothing supernatural.
The two vampires stood in the statue like poses most master vampires could without any show of difficulty. They waited for Darla to speak again.
Darla Strigoi - February 25, 2008 10:49 PM (GMT)
Arching a delicate eyebrow in a curious expression though the eyes beneath the brows were far from curious so much as steely, Darla again gestured to the chairs for the two men and then proceeded to speak as though there had been no hitch in the conversation.
"It is forgiven Issac, though I do not understand why your brother is here. Unless he wishes to pledge his allegience too?"
Looking at Dahn, Darla steepled her fingers and rested her head slightly tilted upon them, looking every inch the soft young woman she was in body save for her eyes, and smiled in 'congratulations' at him as he took his seat before Issac did. Although she had asked her question to Issac, she kept her eyes on Dahn and wondered casually if he would speak for himself or remain the weakling brother.
Issac Grey - March 12, 2008 10:24 PM (GMT)
"I'm here to see him off. I'm taking over the family affairs in Moorebank and i wished to ensure Issac was settled in here first before moving on to resume my affair back home. I swear no alligences on this night My lady. My appologies."
Issac turned to look at his brother. Dahn smiled at Darla before looking back at his brother. The two seemed statues for a moment. Like they had frozen in mid action. You could tell that a battle was happening in their eyes. They shot a few words at each other ancient persian before looking back to Darla.
"My appologies for that my lady. My brother will leaving shortly for home. He is only here to sign the paper work required to take on the business, after that You shall not see him unless he chooses to come back."
Darla Strigoi - March 15, 2008 03:52 PM (GMT)
Smirking in a way that left her fangs hidden still at Dahn as he spoke, Darla's eyes flicked to Issac as he turned to his brother and watched with some amusement as the two seemed to inwardly fight over what had been said. Having never had a sibling, Darla did not know that link, but assumed it was that of brothers rather than metaphysics as she could sense nothing and neither of them would have been able to hide it from her had they tried. She did not recognise the language but what passed between them could always be extracted by other means than linguistic knowledge.
Shaking her head slowly, waving one finger in a 'tsk tsk' motion as she watched Issac like a cat stares at a bird, Darla sat back in her chair casually as she spoke.
"No, Issac, I enjoy his honesty and frankness. Especially as he had the good grace to apologise afterwards. However...it will not be to him if he returns, but I. You would do well to remember that, if you are to receive lodging within my city. Now, if you have no other reason to be here Dahn then I reccomend you vacate my office and provide my head of staff with your company whilst I talk to Issac. I trust you not to cause trouble for him, as the repurcussions would not be worth so triffling a thing."
Issac Grey - March 17, 2008 03:33 AM (GMT)
Dahn smiled and bowed. Leaving the room. He sat on a chair out side the office and waited. He could still hear what was happenign in the room. So he snapped into that pristine, staute-like calm most old vampires were capable of, that moment where time freezes until the next moment require activity.
Issac watched his brother leave. Idiot. He turned back to Darla and sighed. He was ever so hungery as he hadn't fed since Moorebank. He didn't show it in any respect. He remained tall and strong. Not to show off but to keep his stature.
"Again my appologies for that. It has been a very long time since i've been in a city that normal. Moorebank was a very... Odd place to live. I hope that you will allow me to stay in your city Darla. Its is a great city after all. It reminds me of the way i use to run London so many years ago. Do you remember it my lady? The wonder London use to be?"
