Kestral slipped her blue dress over her shoulder letting it drift down her body.She stepped in front of her floor lenght Mirror and checked to make sure everything was covered.Music was playing in the background keeping the silence of the rest of the house from Kestral.After one last check Kestral grabbed her clutch and made her way out the of the house.She made a small stop in the front hall grabbing her cell phone off the table.Checking the phone she made sure that she hadn't missed any calls while in the shower.



Ten minutes later she was outside the Doors of Ravers Paradise looking around for the familiar faces of her friends.The crowds seemed small tonight and she moved easily till she got to the wall next to the door. She shook her head when a radom guy came up and tryed to sweet talk her.She growled softly allowing her eyes to change to the light blue green she got when she shifted.The guy back up in a hurry making Kestral smile.Looking around Kestral sighed running a hand though her black hair trying to find something to distrack herself as she waited.

Karrie was happy when Kestral gave her a call about a girl’s night out actually being planned. Karrie was happy she was going dancing tonight and it didn’t have to be with a pole and naked. Something she could do for fun.

Karrie smiled as she put on her usual make up, just toned down since she wouldn’t be under all the lights and look like a slutty clown. As she walked to her closet, she smiled as she picked out exactly what she wanted to wear. She reached in and pulled out a shirt and slid it over the top of her head. Walking over to the dresser, Karrie opened the drawer where she kept a mass of skirts and smiled as she saw what she wanted to wear, a black leather skirt. With a grin, she slid it on and zipped it up so she had a nice size slit on each side.

Reaching back into her closet she grabbed a pair of boots she had reserved for personal use and not to use on stage even though they were killer. Throwing her hair up in a clip as to not bother her as dancing, she grabbed her purse and headed out the door.

Deciding driving to the club would not be such a good idea, she hailed a cab, which was very easy in her state of dress, and directed him to the club. As he pulled up in front of Ravers Paradise, she slipped him the money and climbed out.

Karrie covertly sniffed the air and found Kestral’s scent easily. She flashed her smile to a couple cute guys who looked her way and made her way toward the tiger. She rounded the corner just in time to see a man running away from Kestral. She giggled as she walked up. “Looking for someone?” she asked with a smile.

Kestral hummed under her breath as she waited for the girl's to show.A whiff on the breeze made her looking around.After spotting Karrie Kestral flashed her a bright smile.
"Yes,I was hoping i wouldn't have to stand here alony much longer.Guys see aGirl standing by herself and they think that it's ok to flirt with her".

Kestral offered a hug to her Lion shaped friend needing thelycan closenes at the moment.It was atleast a week to the full moon but she was starting to get a little Twitchier every passing day.

Adriana smiled as she put on her makeup. It was nice to have friends outside of work to hang out with and have a drink with. She took the curling iron out of her hair as the last curl bounced away from the devise. She smiled as she took a look at herself one last time before heading out into her bedroom where she had her outfit was laid out as she styled her hair.

After getting dressed, she headed over to her jewelry box and slipped on a pair of earrings that would match the cross she always wore.

Slipping on her shoes and double checking she turned everything off, Adriana locked the door and headed to the street to hail a cab. Just because she didn’t plan on getting drunk, did not mean it wouldn’t happen. After a few cabs passed by, one stopped and she climbed in with a smile giving the address of Ravers Paradise.

Arriving at the club, Adriana tipped the driver and gave him a smile as she shut the door. She glanced around as she entered the club and tried to spot Kestral. After turning down a dance offer, she made her way over to the bar. Spotting Kestral with another brown haired woman she had never met, she walked up to the two and smiled.

“Hi” Adriana said with enthusiasm to Kestral. “I was so happy when I got your call!” Turning to the other woman, she held out her hand and smiled, “Hi I’m Adriana. I met Kestral at a jazz club, you?”

Kestral chatted with Karrie as she leaned against the side of the club.A steady stream of passing cars and blinking lights filled up the street.It was odd how all the flashing lights and neon signs still didn't make the stars overhead seem any dimmer.A voice broken though the other sounds of the night and Kestral glanced around spotting Adrianna approaching the two girls.

Giving her warm smile Kestral turned to Karrie."This is the friend i was telling you about".

Rachel Walked into the club, Ravers Paradise, she felt the presence of lycans, she couldn’t feel any vampires and hoped it would stay that way threw the night.

Rachel always wore tans of gold and brown, even in animal form … though as she entered the club, another night of soliture awaited her, she was getting quite used to it, yet tonight the atmosphere crackeled with other peoples powers. Rachel wondered if she would come across any body.


She walked up to a bar, where a handsom young fellow was serving an ordered a martini, sipping it slowly as she felt the buzz of alchool run threw her, she was less amune to alchool than humans, but if she put her mind to it, she was sure she could end up drunk, not knowing if that was a good idea though .

Karrie was listening to Kestral explain about the other woman who would be joining them, a human who could raise the dead. Ewww was Karrie’s first thought, but then some people thought that about shifters too.

She smiled as Adriana introduced herself. “Karrie. Nice to meet you” she smiled. [I]Sure doesn’t look like someone who would raise the dead, she thought. “I actually met Kestral on the beach. Lucky me.”

The woman in front of her sure did not look like someone who would be in a rave club, but maybe she would fit in. “Want to go inside, maybe sit at the bar and talk for a bit?” she offered even as she began heading to the bar.

She picked a spot where they could watch people come in and see people on the dance floor. There was a loud techno song that Karrie slightly danced to before she picked herself up and sat on the bar. There was a pretty girl sitting to her left, not just a girl- a lycan of some sort; Karrie smiled and then turned back to Kestral and Adriana.

“I can tell we are either gonna have a helluva lot of fun or get into a helluva lot of trouble” she laughed. The barkeep came up and asked what they wanted to drink. Karrie gave him a wonk and ordered up a beer, whatever he thought was good. “Ladies?” she asked so they knew they could order.

Kestral smiled as she watched her two mew friends get to know each other.She followed Karrie into the club wincing slightly at the overly loud music that started to pound into her ears as soon as they walked into the club.Shaking her head slighty Kestral grinned and followed Karrie asshe took a seat at the bar. She saved a spot next to her for Adrianna and looked over the club her head already bobbing in time to the music.

Noticing Karrie looking at something Kestral twisted her head and spotted anotherLycan sitting not to far from them. Leopard Kestral thought after taking a quick whiff of the air.She turned back when the bartender walked up to the Girl's.
"I'll take a White Russian Please".She turned to Adrianna to see what she wanted to drink to start the night off.

Adriana trailed the two other women into the club, bouncing her head to the beat of the music as they walked to the bar. Adriana hopped up onto the bar stool next to Kestral and listened as Karrie and then Kestral ordered. As the bartender came up to her next, she bit her lip and then smiled “New York Black Haus” she smiled. Yeah a shot, so she wanted to drink a little tonight.

As the barkeep shuffled off to get their drinks, she turned back to Karrie. “So what do you do for a living?” she asked, having to practically scream over the music. As she listened to Karrie reply she turned to Kestral, remembering she didn’t have a job last time she spoke. “And you? Any luck on the job market?”

Adriana knew that there were many lycans in the city and that they usually knew each other, she couldn’t help but wonder if Karrie was human or not, not that it mattered. The cute barkeep came back and handed everyone their drink. Adriana lifted her shot glass up and smiled “To a girl’s night out!” she laughed before she swallowed her drink down in one gulp.

A slight cringe grew on her face, but it tasted good overall. Adriana couldn’t help but notice that the last time she had a shot was the night that she had really met Gerard and gotten to know Gabe. The thought of Gabe gave Adriana a pang of longing to go and check to make sure he was okay, but he did not need someone babying him.

The other man, well vampire, had seemed to haunt her dreams, more vivid each night, something Adriana wanted to drown. She could already feel herself falling for Gabe, but it seemed another man haunted her dreams. She needed to find someone to talk to about this shit and fast; it was starting to scare her.

With no trace of the thoughts in her head on her face, she grabbed the other shot the barkeep had already brought her. With a smile to the man, she shot the drink back and grabbed both Kestral and Karrie heading out to the dancefloor.

Kestral was so full of energy she could almost feel her skin twiching.She bounced slightly in her seat as Adrianna ordered a shot and they waited on their drinks.Kestral watched the dancing coupled swaying to the loud beat and tapped her fingers on the bar in time to the music.A clinking sound drew her attention back to the bar to see that the drinks had arrived.She grinned as she watched Adrianna slam back her shot.
"Actually I manged to get a Part-time Job at thr Coffee house down the street.I finally got enrolled into school as well".Kestral took a huge gulp of her drink as she scanned the crowds pausing when she spotted a pretty girl in a tight shirt and leather pants.She dragged her eyes away when a hand landed on her upper arm.
"Time to Dance?" She asked with a wide smile as she let Adrianna drag her and Karrie out to the Dance floor.

Rachel took her drink and set herself aside from the party, she had alway been an observer, not in a stalkers way, more like she found watching people with almost normal lifes facinated her.


She looked around but didnt see anyone she recognized, not worrying she took another sip of her drink, watching as the lycans who were close by drifted of on to the dance floor .

Karrie smiled wide at Adriana's question. "I actually am an exotic dancer. I work at Blood Dolls. Its nice to have feline dexterity on a pole you know." Karrie wasn't ashamed of who or what she was anymore, not being a stripper-she never cared about that, but being a lion.

She couldn't help but be a little bit taken aback by animator's choice in drink, for some reason, she just expected her to order something fruity and girlie. "So, you raise dead people huh?" she asked Adriana. "Thats an odd profession" Karrie said rather bluntly, but hoped the woman took it well.

Turning toward Kestral, she smiled. "Thats great, a job and school!" Karrie was really excited for her, it was good to get what you wanted. Karrie took a few more swigs of her beer and eyes widened at Adriana ordering another shot. This girl is out to get drunk she thought.

Karrie was pulled off her stool, hand still holding the beer, as she was dragged off onto the dancefloor by Adriana. If you would have asked Karrie who was going to be the most conservative of the group, she would have jumped up and yelled 'Adriana', but it turns out clothing and first impressions, as she told Seth, can be very wrong.

With a laugh at Kestral, she nodded "It looks like it!" They found themselves on the outskirts of the dance floor and began dancing and laughing with Kestral and Adriana.

Scarlet looked around the graveyard, everything was intact, the dead dead again, all was perfect, she thought sliding into her car as she threw her bag into the seat next to her, looking down slowly at her outfit, mud drowned the bottem of the trousers.
Damn she thought as she tried hopelessly to clear it up with a tissue, BAD IDEA the tissue fell apart against the black trousers making them worse, she looked over at her bag hopefully, but only her straight forward work clothes were seen.

Fuck that she thought getting out the car and slamming the door, looking hopefully in the boot, her hands found a plastic layer and pulled, she came out with a Spanish Dressshe had brought for a funeral. She felt the soft material. And decided to throw it on, getting back into her car fully dressed she wondered where she could head off to.

She decided to head for the closest club there was, parking her car in the free section she walked the rest of the way, she wondered how silly she looked, “ well damn it, what’s a gurl gotta do to go in a club and not look out of place” as she walked in she saw 2 pretty girls circling the centre dancing to the music, one of the she recognized, but had a slight hesitation at her name, finally remembering she walked over.

“ Hey Adriana, how are you?” she said to her work colleague.

As Adriana led both Karrie and Kestral out to the floor, she began dancing. Shouting to be heard over the music, she answered Karrie's question. "Yeah, it's something like a family tradition that no one wants to talk about. I think I got it from my Nonna*. She passed away before I was born though."

Sighing loudly as to not drag down the evening, she turned abruptely at her name being called, not knowing anyone who frequented clubs. "Scarlet! I didn't know you hung out in clubs." Waving her hand in the air as to dismiss the statement as unimportant, she turned to the lycans behind her and smiled at them.

"Scarlet, this is Kestral, and this is Karrie. We are enjoying an evening out without men" Adriana smiled. She was a bit of a lightweight when it came to hard liquor and she was starting to feel the effects of the shots. Turning back to the kitties, "This is Scarlet, she works with me."

The closer they got to the middle of the room the louder the music got.Kestral could feel the beat pulsing against her skin and she shivered a bit enjoying the feeling.As soon asthey got to the dance floor Kestral grabbed Karrie's hands and started moving to the beat.The nice thing about crowded clubs was that she could get close as she wanted to her fellow shifters with out anyone so much as raising an eyebrow.
Hearing Adrianna raise her voice be heard above the music Kestral spun while holding onto Karrie's hands.She smiled and nodded at the newest memeber of their group.
"Nice to meet you Scarlet".

Scarlet smiled nodding a greeting to everyone, “ without guys hey, bit like our business” she was getting used to the work without men, it was easy to walk around when men weren’t staring at every point of your body you kept hidden.

Scarlet felt a small power field around the two girls, but defiantly not vampire, she guessed they were lycans, which didn’t bother Scarlet, she dismissed the thought with a small flick of her hair, feeling well out of place with her dress she had thrown on. Awkwardly she smoothed out some of the creases that had formed just below her chest.
“ well I like to hit the clubs for a bit of nightly entertainment” she said grinning, raising the dead and partying what a rightful mixture.

One of the best parts of being at a club was you get the closeness that all lycans carve. As she began dancing with Kestral and listening to Adriana shout above the music, she nodded about where Adriana got her ‘gift’.

“Hi Scarlet” Karrie said with a smile, well more of shouted because of the music. Another pretty girl, Karrie was scoring the jackpot tonight. Twirling around herself, Karrie continued dancing. “Please feel free to join in.”

“Nightly entertainment is always fun!” she laughed.

Adriana laughed, “Just like our business.” Adriana walked over closer to Karrie and Kestral motioning for Scarlet to join their little circle. “Nightly entertainment…well we have that!” Adriana kept dancing. She turned to the girls, “Does anyone want something to drink? I am gonna head back to the bar.”

After taking everyone’s orders and empty glasses back to the bar, she sat there and had a small flash back to what happened at the office a couple days ago after greeting Scarlet. Damn it all to hell she thought. I will never have another dreamless night she silently vowed.

With a smile and thanks to the bartender, she headed back to the girls. “Everyone get acquainted?” as she passed out the drinks, taking her shot down in one gulp after the minisode at the bar. Now , she thought, I am well and truly drunk. “Lets dance!”

Kestral giggled as she rested her hands on Karrie's waist.She nodded as Adrianna spoke. The music boomed loudly in the background making it hard to hear what everyone was saying.The lights swirled and danced around coloring everything Red and blue.

"That we do!" Kestral laughed twirling Karrie around like a ballerina.

Scarlet laughed at the woman’s openness, she had never been a social person or even much off an outgoing person, she smiled as she was offered a drink and too gulped it back, “ thank that’s nice off you” she wasn’t much of a dancer either, but she grinned and thought screw it .

Picking up half of her dress she walked closer to the gang, being opened into the circle for once she smiled and it did reach her eyes, turning and dancing to the music as the lights swirled and made the place shake with music.

Adriana was rather enjoying dancing with the other girls. She hadn’t had a fun night out like this since she was in college, which seemed like a very long ways back. Dropping off all drinks that were ordered she smiled at Scarlet, “The good thing about raising the dead is people will pay anything to get it done” she laughed.

It was true, the company raked in a lot of money and the Animators made a pretty penny as well. The fact that the job paid so well was the reason she could buy a condo where she did with beachfront and city views.

As the DJ came on the loud speaker saying there will be a small interlude, the music seemed softer and she assumed he put on a CD until he came back. Looking around, the dance floor seemed to dissipate and the mill of people went two directions, the bar and the bathrooms. Now, Adriana could actually see there were tables lined out on the walls and she motioned toward one of them so they at least had a collective spot to rest while they weren’t bustin a move.

Taking a seat, for she was feeling a bit woozy, knowing it was the three shots she downed in a very short period of time, she smiled at the girls. “Ok so we know what everyone does for a living, does anyone actually have any men in their lives that they left at home? I have a…well I am not sure what we are, I guess dating would be the only thing I could say. You?” she offered to anyone who would answer.

Kestral was fanning herself off with her hand when Adrianna motioned for the group to seat down at one of the tables that lined the Club.She watched as the Dj played a Cd on and took off.She followed gratefully needing a break from the dancing.

Taking a sip of water that was placed in front of her she shook her head at Adrianna's question.

"There's someone that catchs my eye but I don't think she's interested honest enough".

Karrie smiled at Adriana’s words, it was really cute to see couples together. She smiled at Kestral, “Wow. Hmm well I don’t have anyone in particular, I have had a couple guys and gals catch my eye but I don’t think anyone is interested in a stripper for much else than my talents on stage, which they think translate to the bedroom” her smiled widened into a grin “and it usually does.”

Scarlet happy for the distraction to the tables plonked herself down on to a seat, edging closer to the table so that she could hear better what the girls were talking about, smoothing down slightly her dress as she laughed.
“ Well my job is killing and raising the dead … it doesn’t appeal in either my social or relationship skills, everything I talk to is dead or undead so nope I’m 100% single” she grinned slightly

Adriana couldn't help but glance at Kestral when she spoke of being interested in another woman. She had no problem with it, but was only taken off guard. It seemed Karrie liked both men and women. Wow, Adriana thought.

At Scarlet's words she laughed "You see, what you have to do is either date a guy who is in our profession or a vampire. Thats the only way you would be on the same schedule, let alone not be looked at like a freak when explaining your job to a white collar business executive." A page out of her own book, maybe, but it was sound advise.

Adriana smiled at the women, "I would never have done this myself. Thank you for inviting me out, I needed it, badly." Probably more than they would ever know. She decided to stick to water the rest of the time she was there, deciding it would be better in the long run.

Kestral looked over at Adrianna almost able to taste the Drinks that she had been downing all night.She moved her seat closer to karrie to make sure there was enough room for all of them.
"Who dod youhave your eye on?A Lion?" Kestral asked now curious.She took another sip of her drink as she looked around the busy club.

Karrie was nodding her head to the beat, semi-dancing in her chair. A smile grew on her face at Adriana's explanation. "I know how that is. Trying telling anyone, yeah I am a stripper so not only do you get to see me naked a lot of other people do. Usually a killer for relationships, especially men. They seem very possessive."

Karrie turned to Kestral at her question. "Well there are a couple kitty cats that have caught my eye" she said being vague on purpose. "But I don't have a preference, usually I don't like being around any canines though" she laughed. "And most humans only like to watch, but have heard too many horror stories to be with a lycan of any sort" Karrie shrugged.

Adriana nodded at Karrie. "Yeah I think you may have a harder time of trying to explain your job" she laughed.

Adriana raised an eyebrow at Kestral's question and looked at Karrie. Adriana laughed about how she usually doesn't end up with canines. "So it is true? Cats and dogs don't get along?" she asked. Sometimes she could be so naive.

Scarlet laughed at Adriana “ yes seeing as I kill vampires that’s out, and seeing our office is made of women I don’t have any luck, unless the boss wants me to have a big promotion” Scarlet laughed picturing the man in bed she shook her head in both disgust and laughter at the off putting images.

She listened to the groups discussions, she hadn’t known many lycans, so she didn’t really know which got along with which but she guessed it was logical.

Kestral looked over at the two humans slightly surprised they weren't unnerved by how they acted.
"It really depends on the Lycan but most Wolves are really guarded..Thye like to have their space".

Karrie was intrigued by the women she was out with. Most humans would leave the area afraid of catching lycanthropy as soon as they heard you were one of ‘them’. She really liked Scarlet and Adriana and was very happy that she was out with Kestral.

“Well what about you, what girl has your eye” she asked Kestral, nudging her with her shoulder and giving a wide smile. She understood what Scarlet was saying, “I guess by the look on your face your boss is not appetizing?” she asked with a laugh. People had done much worse to get ahead in a business.

“Alright everybody, our break is over. Are you ready to party?!?!” the DJ asked as he returned from their break. The whole club seemed to swarm to the dance floor. With a smile to the group, she grabbed Kestral and started to dance toward the floor as well. “Hell yeah I am ready to party” she shouted. With a laugh she began to dance close to Kestral, enjoying the lycan warmth radiating off of her.

Kestral had just enough time to finish her water before the Dj took the Mic back.She let Karrie pull her back onto the dance floor and swayed her hips to the beat keeping her hands on Karrie's hips.In no time at all they were in the middle of the dance floor once again.She smiled and started tossing her head to the beat of the music pulling Karrie closer to herself.

Scarlet grinned and took another swing of her tequila sunrise, she kept it low as already her head was spinning, she turned back to the woman and thought of replying about appetizing a lycan, but decided against it, she liked the girls very much and didnt have the slightest problem with them being lycans, just like her being a Executioner, each person was different in their own way, i happened to kill people and raise them, they turned furry. Not a big deal

“ Well not appetizing is one way to say it, but hey I’m good single… I’m going for the record” she said winking to the girl, Scarlet couldn’t even remember her last boyfriend, Damn she needed help!

Before she knew it the music was on louder then ever, distantly she heard someone saying the pause was over, Scarlet glided over to the dance floor, swiftly dodging people as the heat of bodies surrounded her, intoxicating air to heavy to breath as the music hummed threw each persons veins. She grabbed the other woman and pulled her up, spinning her and joining the other two girls in the centre again she danced with each of them laughing as all worries and stress lifted off of her.

Adriana laughed, “Going for the record? Nice.” She watched Karrie drag Kestral to the dance floor, watching the two dance close. She then had a pang for Gabriel, wanting to be close to him again. Adriana couldn’t dwell on it too much longer for she was spun and pulled onto the dance floor by Scarlet.

Adriana was feeling light headed and she thought the night would have to be cut short because of the brashness of her drinking earlier. After the song Adriana tapped the two kitties and gave them both a smile. “Girls, I have to call it a night, I hope you all have a fantastic time” she gave a hug to Kestral and Karrie and then turned to Scarlet and shook her hand with a smile. She didn’t really know Scarlet too well other than a co worker and didn’t know how well received a hug would be,

With the round of goodbyes done, she went to the bar to pay for the drinks everyone in the party ordered and headed out the door to hale a taxi and go home. Walking into the house, she saw no messages and frowned, hoping to hear from Gabe. With a shrug she headed to bed. The liquor in her system seemed to amplify Adriana’s dreams. Waking in the middle of the night she vowed to go the church and see Father MacNamara.

Kestral rested her hands on Karrie's hips swaying backand forth to the music.She watched as Adrianna got spun around the dance floor by her co-worker so she turned her attention back to dancing with Karrie.As soon as the music stoppedand the next song started she felt atap on her shoulder.She glanced up into the flushed face of Adrianna.

Kestral pouted a little bit but returned the hug and watched as Adrianna made her way to the door.

Karrie returned the hug offered by Adriana and watched her as she walked away. There was something bothering that woman, she could smell it underneath the booze she had drank she shook her head hoping she got help with whatever she was trying to drown.

With that Karrie turned back to Kestral and whispered in her ear, "As soon as Scarlet leaves I could have you all to myself. I would be so lucky" she laughed in her ear as she continued dancing with Kestral.

Turning to Scarlet she shouted to be heard, "Come over here and join us, three makes it more fun!"

Kestral watched as Karrie returned Adrianna'e hug and returned to their dancing.Karrie wasa really good dancer a tiny part of her mind mused.She was having alot of fun being this close to the Lion and smirked when Karrie whispered into her ear.
"I can't wait" She whispered back knowing she had to be blushing at least a little bit.What with the extra heat from the crowds andt he drinks that she had downed it wouldn't surprise her in the least.She turned lazy eyes towards Scarlet to see if she was going to join them or her co-worker and take off into the night.

Scarlet watched her co-worker walk off, she shock her head slightly and decided it was better that she get on as well, remembering the tone of work she had to get along with, Animator paper by day, raise by night, it was so tiring she never found the time to sit down and relax already her sleep was straining 4 hours. She looked at the two young lycans dancing in front of her and heard barely over the music.

Shaking her head drastically she laughed at her clumsiness “ it okay girls I must be off as well” she couldn’t wait to get home and have a long hot shower and slag of her liquor, she pondered over and decided she would hit the bed straight away.
“ it was nice meeting you both” she slipped out one of her many business cards, fashionable get your self known cards even says I raise the dead…
“ give me a call and we can meet up” she said smiling as she handed over the card and shook their hands politely, before drifting off into the crowd.
