Title: The Lonely Cemetery
Description: X-x OPEN x-X
Rose Muertos Sangre - November 2, 2007 01:49 PM (GMT)
Rose walked throw the Cemetery; the cold air brushing away her dark curly hair from her pale face, she had already fed, and was full of energy, after all a vampire only had a nights worth of fun.
Her eyes held a cold glow, a haunted mist as she examined the headstones, names after names Peter Smith loved father, husband; Samantha Helton beloved daughter and sister; Mary Anna a missed mother and wife. So many people, remembered… loved… missed.
With no memories of a family, no memories of being loved, she felt closer to all of it walking throw these people’s remainders, remainders of a life. A life she will never and has never had.
She paused at an old oak tree, the smell of the risen dead hung in the damp air around her, she sunk to the earth, her tight black outfit clinging to her body.
Rose pulled her feet under her, in which placed her daggers under her fingertips, the handle nudging her thigh slightly as the smooth blade was protected in a cotton, soaked in holy water no vampire had a chance, if it was to enter the heart…but she didn’t have the slightest intention to kill, she was just careful, precise and a perfectionist … Rose never went with an idea with out thinking it out, it was after all one of her powers on other’s, and on herself

Julian watched the vampire from the shadows, he was such a fool! Taking a step back further into the darkness he wondered what the hell he was going to do. Vampires weren’t his most favorite of the local nightlife, but…he wanted to turn tail and run, there was no need to beat around the bush. Running a hand through his hair as he let out an aggravated breath he stepped forward “Hello there.” Sod it! He had to get some sort of life.Dressed in a white poets shirt and skin tight jeans with Biker boots he looked like a cross between a biker and an artist. Well at least that’s what his brother called him.
Rose Muertos Sangre - November 2, 2007 02:27 PM (GMT)
Rose had already felt the young wolfs presence, She did not know how to explain the shiver of recognition to the wolf’s vibe, even in his disguised form of a human, she knew he was much more.
Unexpectedly she heard a low voice, she didn’t turn her head, only lifted her eyes towards the shadows, her dark curly hair falling delicately into her eyes as she brushed it away, her pale golden hand, shimmering in the moon light.
She felt his clouds of thoughts, very strong, she blocked off her mind completely, she had a close bind to wolves, after an experience of sharing thoughts and more with them she felt closer to them than to the vampires.
“ Hello, what are you doing out? Admiring the moon?” she didn’t mean at all to make it sarcastic, even more admiring, but yet a sour taste hung in the words, she instantly regretted it, but kept her head low and waited for an answer.
You don’t have any friends and you wonder why?
Julian Stephens - November 2, 2007 02:51 PM (GMT)
“Hello, what are you doing out? Admiring the moon?”
Julian was floored. Watching the vampire he snorted “What are you doing out? Hunting for blood?” the retort fell form his lips before he could stop it and he paled. Ok, so it wasn’t good insulting the undead but it was close to the full moon. Tempers did flare even with the saintliest of werewolves, and the Irish tended to be cranky on the best of days. Catching himself he smiled thinly “Forgive me. I didn’t mean that.”
Rose Muertos Sangre - November 2, 2007 03:04 PM (GMT)
“Forgive me. I didn’t mean that.”
Rose looked up, tilting her head and flashing her fangs, smooth very smooth
“ that’s okay… I understand, After all I wasn’t the exact welcome wagon” she moved her back slightly against the oak tree, feeling awkward, She couldn’t exactly say lets get a bite to eat, smiling slightly in the moonlight at her own thoughts. She looked more closely at him, finally coming to her senses she smiled “ Where are my manners, I’m rose “
She said gracefully standing, her black outfit falling around her in a mass of Italian layers, the dark cotton falling to the floor around her chunky black boots, the wedge making her height, only a few inches under the wolf, Making her have to tilt her head slightly to see his eyes.

Julian laughed "Well Rose, I'm Julian." The anger that had been bubbling under his skin for the last few days calmed, who'd have known a vampire, was so polite. They certainly weren’t back home.
Rose Muertos Sangre - November 2, 2007 03:15 PM (GMT)
Rose smiled, this time keeping her fangs neatly hidden, she opened her mind slightly as she felt Julians thoughts surround her, she nearly laughed hearing his last comment.
Rose having originated in France, she new very few vampires, but those she did were old timers, even lovers, she had spent most of her life in the huddles of warm wolf packs. But she new that here it wouldn’t happen so easily, The lycans didn’t see vampires as friends, just users, which most were.
She got up and stepped closer to Julian, as she held out her hand, “ nice to meet you then, the night is young, were you heading any where?” her pale slender hand still held out waiting for Julian to respond.
Julian Stephens - November 2, 2007 03:27 PM (GMT)
Julian looked at Roses hand and smirked, taking it in his own his smile faltered ever so slightly at the coldness of her skin. Unlike his brother he wasn’t too afraid of vampires. Cocking his head to the side he grinned, brown bangs falling into his eyes “well I was going for a run” the way he said it implied that it wasn’t on two legs.
Rose Muertos Sangre - November 2, 2007 03:36 PM (GMT)
“well I was going for a run”
Rose smile feel slightly as her hand hummed, how strange, she still didn’t understand completely why that happened with lycan wolfs…
Rose looked up at the sky for a second after, hearing his answer, she understood as he implied “I” that he wasn’t planning to, run in human form, Rose contemplated an idea over in her head thinking of all the forms that could take place… finally smiling at her decision she closed of her mind and concentrated, on the surrounding, she was very careful that no others were close by, after all it was close to the full moon and she knew after experiences how worked up they can get.
“ How about a game of catch then, lets see just how fast you can run…” she smirked slightly, as she made sure she had stoked up on enough blood, using certain powers can take certain limits …
Julian Stephens - November 2, 2007 03:44 PM (GMT)
“Now that’s an idea that could be fun…it could also get you hurt Rose.” Even though his eyes bled into a strange mix of orange and brown he smirked and drew back. If he decided to take her up on her offer he’d need to shift somewhere, after all he couldn’t wander the streets as a wolf, or naked, so clothes where best left unshredded. Stepping back he grinned and shrugged anyway, "Besides, hide and seek is better then catch" he chuckled, catch was a game for dogs.
Rose Muertos Sangre - November 2, 2007 03:55 PM (GMT)
Rose laughed, the sound was smooth, and heavy, she walked backwards as she smiled at him “Hurt? About time” she had already thought it out, she could move fast, she could force him to change back and she has about 4 daggers hidden on her, not that she planned to use any brutal measures like them.
After learning from the witch, Rose was an extremely spiritual person, many would laugh, but Rose had a gift, the witch herself said I might have easily been a witch in my formal human life, if only I could remember. She felt her powers poor out of her, it was as though scrying, it was a simple picture transferred to the head of what her surroundings look like.
A bit like a bat would do she guessed, also having her slight power of reading thoughts, she might be able to bend it to her will, but this was only a little fun, she smiled and disappeared into the shadows, allowing space for him to shift. Though his Wolf eyes stayed in her mind, she was drawn to them, as a moth to a flame, she wishes that she was a lycan, having been treated like one and now thrown out as a vampire, one of cold feelings, she was sure that it would take a long time to be accepted again.
And then she dispread into the shadows not knowing where she was, but letting her senses envelope her, feeling the life of Her vampire expand, she fell into the night…

Oh Lord above, save us from the opposite sex he thought as he wandered back to where he'd been before he'd noticed rose. The backpack he's lugged around with him would be enough to hide his clothes. The groundskeeper had been and gone hours ago; from what he could smell there was no one around except Rose and himself. Chuckling as he stripped down and stuffed his clothes in the bag he wondered what the hell he was actually doing, she was a vampire! He didn’t hate them or like them, so why was she so different? Shaking his head he shifted, clear goop coated the grass as he yawned, his tongue lolling out the side of his mouth. Playing games with vampires….it was only going to end in trouble. Sitting down, his mottled grey coat ruffled in places by the wind he barked once before setting off slowly.
Rose Muertos Sangre - November 2, 2007 04:15 PM (GMT)
Rose was already deep in the shadows, her body swelling with the thought of letting go of all the smells, and thoughts, and sounds.
A distant howl, could be heard faintly from where was, she remembered the times, she used to play such games with her old family…not family they weren’t your family your alone rose, you’re a vampire, stop kidding yourself Rose argued with herself for a while before feeling the vibe of the wolf, she felt his presence, his strengths and his weaknesses, even his fears… wolfs were easy to read, not like leopards, she never could understand them… she walked quietly, as she examined her surrounding the light of the moon no longer shone her a path, she was lost alone in the darkness… as usual.
Julian Stephens - November 2, 2007 07:45 PM (GMT)
Moving from the shadows, he followed Rose’s path running parallel to her as the vampire moved. Head low as he ducked in front of a huge stone angel. It felt good to have the ground beneath his paws after such a long flight. Huffing a breath throw his nose he swerved sharply to put himself in her path. Slinking low against the ground he would have chuckled if he could. Tensing like a snake he darted out in front of her and yipped. It was a game true, but it was exactly like hunting.
Rose Muertos Sangre - November 2, 2007 08:33 PM (GMT)
Exactly what Rose was waiting for she smiled seeing the wolf in her line of view, she had been gathering her power, right now the tension of it all at a waiting halt was suffocating, how usual of hunter to not think throw the moves of his prey, waiting till the last moment she turned, forced her power into one thought, she was keep to move at the speed of light but knew she would come never so close in a blur she was past the wolf, throw the trees, and into the central of the oldest part of the cemetery, the earth here was less moved, the dead was less “played” with.
The air around her felt firmer, stronger, she felt stronger, she was sure her eyes now would be the palest of grey, she never fully used her powers, only ever once, once for a witch Esmarelda, and still today she remembered her horrified look, the look of 100 knifes. Ever since, she had never used her power enough to change her “formal” human look…
She could now easily pin point the wolf’s tracks, she was fast but new she had a faint wolfs smell, after living in a wolfs pack for over 100 years, it was sure that if he used his instincts of a wolf and less of a predator, it would be easier to find her.
She smiled into the nights air, as she calmed her powers, SINK, she told them, the young wolf doesn’t want to get so worked up, so close to the full moon, tut tut Rose shame on you for tempting such cruel things …
