Title: Just movin' to the music.
Description: Open.

Luz strutted down the sidewalk with a click of heels against the cement sidewalk. Tight denim skirt clung to her hips low enough to expose the slightly darker pawprint tattooed against her tan skin. Long hair fell still damp just beneath her shoulder blades. Dark leather of the boots contrasted nicely against the woman's skin, thick black liner elegantly outlining her large eyes and causing them to be brightly evident in her otherwise make-up free facade. Lightly glossed lips created a slight pout as a rumbling beat vibrated through her slender body. More-than-human senses noticed the distant beat of music pulsing in the evening air. The full moon wasn't far off, and any club that bore booze and music was sure to be pulsing with that other-worldly energy.
Gait quickened slightly, lips parted ever so slightly so as to taste the air around her, to let whatever may be nearby to roll around on her tongue before being memorized by her pallet forever. Finally reaching the club, the lioness glanced at the sign above. Grinning with a perfect row of white enamels, the woman procured her ID, flashed it at the doorman, and seductively proceeded to walk past him. Brushing the bare skin of her shoulder against him for the black hatlertop wasn't covering her arms, she let the slightest trickle of lycan heat crawl across his skin. Not looking back, the curvaceous woman moved through the door, past a crowd of shouting voices, and to a table by herself not far from the dancing crowd. Propping her body atop a high stool, her long legs dangled freely over the ground, legs swaying a bit in rhythm as fingers tapped the beat on the tabletop. She wasn't going to just get up and dance on her own, at least not yet, and so she waited, quite patiently, like a lion stalking her prey.

Even though Jon liked and enjoyed dancing did not mean he was good at it. The idea of the beat and that he was trying way to hard was lost on him when he danced. He just moved how he thought he would with the supposed ‘beat’ and did not care in the least about what others thought. Granted most others just pointed and laughed but Jon was used that and enjoyed just being out on the floor. The person he did feel sorry for was Shana. She had tried and tried to get him to dance on the beat and in something that did not resemble a one legged man convulsing on a flat surface.
Shana on the other hand made him look good. The way she moved with him had every single guy looking her way on the floor. It was a very good thing that anytime they came up to try and dance with her they became inseparable. Her previous occupation was starting to show and after all Jon was trying to listen to what she said. The only time they ever found a beat was when she had the entire line of her body pressed to his and they moved together in a perfect harmony. He felt the closeness of the full moon and that made their dancing when they joined almost other worldly.
His beast kept rubbing up against Shana’s skin still looking for a way to call the lioness out to play. Jon could not help but wonder how much longer they would be allowed to be so close together without their animals making the decision to finish the mating was beyond him. He was just happy as hell to be with this wonderful woman.
While they were dancing he felt the power of another lion in the room and without looking directly at it he leaned over acting like he was kissing along the neck of Shana as she had her back to his chest. “We have a new lion in town it appears. Can you catch a glance over to the bar without drawing attention to us?” Then he really did kiss and nip along her neck. Even with the full moon close they both had a tight rein on their energy not letting it spill over and attract too much attention.

Shana was having the time of her life, on so many levels. Jon’s attempts at dancing were nothing short of amazing to watch. Not because he was good, instead because he was the only person she knew of, other than the lead singer of the Talking Heads, who could manage to dance completely and totally out of rhythm to the music surrounding him. The difference here was, Jon did this the entire time with a smile on his face.
She tried to show him what to do, but his mimicking her was just as bad, if not worse than his attempts on his own. It wasn’t until she moved in close, pressing the entire line of her body back against his, that he found the beat. That was just fine with Shana, because that was just where she wanted to be anyway.
Shana’s lioness flowed under her skin, rubbing back against Jon’s each place that their bodies touched. She knew that it was only a matter of time now before they finished truly mating. Jon was already Rex of the pride, and she was his Regina. They had both been enjoying the entirely human reaction to each other. Although it hadn’t been slow, it still was damn nice.
Content with Jon at her back, she grinned as Jon’s mouth moved in close to her neck, speaking softly. “I’ll see what I can do,” she said, still grinning. With Jon’s hair hiding the direction of her eyes, Shana glanced over at the bar, her eyes falling on the lioness, sitting on a stool as her legs bounced to the beat of the music. Jon’s mouth then began to actually kiss and bite at her neck, bringing a shiver to run down her back as she continued to grin. “She seems like she looking for something, or someone,” she said quietly into his hair, knowing he would hear her. Her hand on the back of his head moved, her nails tracing patterns once more into his scalp.

Lioness sat perched at the bar, body swaying a bit to the music with eyelids fluttering shut occasionally and visualizing the moves that could accompany the beat perfectly. A waitress of sorts passed by, and with a flag of Luz's hand, came to her lone table. "A bottle of sparkling water please," she asked with a slightly fanged grin, and in mere moments it returned. Opening the bottle with a twist, she raised it to her lips. Tilting her head back and pouring some of the cool liquid into her mouth, Luz nearly choked in that moment. Suddenly a new wave of power washed over her, a warm familiar power that tasted like the dry savanna air and warm fur. Pulling the bottle from her lips, she swallowed the liquid she had tried to swallow earlier, and opened her eyes to the scene. Slightly more golden gaze fanned the crowd, searching for the lions she had sensed. Surely they had felt her too, but being new, she knew no one and no one knew her. Capping the bottle and putting it in her purse so as to have no one take it, or drug it, Luz slid through the crowd
Metaphysical shields lowered slowly, warm lycan energy flowing from her body in a hot wave through the mixture of people towards the ones she had sensed. With this much power they were undoubtedly high in the hierarchy of the pride, if not the Rex and Regina themselves. Body passed lightly across the other creatures she touched, a burning heat coursing through her veins as the blood stirred at lycan heat. Sliding through a small cluster of people, Luz stopped suddenly in her tracks. The energy poured of a duo in waves, almost visible to her and so her eyes closed momentarily to bask in the moment of this incredible power over her. Returning to the moment rather roughly as strangers hands passed across her body, the woman simply walked away. Smiling slightly, the lioness' posture straightened and hands passed across her skirt. Tugging on the end of her hair in an anxious manner, Luz stopped a few strides before the two. They would have sensed her approaching, and so her head hung somewhat limp in a somewhat submissive manner, waiting for her dominants' permission to near.

Jonathan could feel the lioness moving. She was obviously not alpha or anywhere close if her power was rolling over him and the entire crowd at this range. There was a benefit of climbing up the ranks of alpha and then Rex. It required more control then the new lioness was demonstrating. They could keep their power under control even to the night of the full moon. Even when together dancing in close proximity and basically enjoying each other's company not a single drop of power fell from them. That was what surprised Jon the most in the lioness closing in on them.
Sure she could smell that there were people that were not exactly what they seemed here but to be walking directly over to them in a large crowd of sweaty humans she would have to have an amazing nose to pick them out. He made a mental note to ask about her sense of smell or where she found out about the two of them to recognize them on sight. Marcus would not like that he was becoming such an easy to notice person.
With Shana against him and running her fingers through his hair he turned his attention back to the wonderful woman pressed up against him. “Well it looks like she was looking for us. Quickly Shana act human!” this whisper held a touch of his usual humor before his mouth found her neck again. He decided to ignore the lioness until Shana greeted her. After all what kind of man would he be to notice another woman while pressed tightly against one that was quickly becoming his everything.

Still watching the lioness from her spot behind Jon’s hair, she watched as the woman continued to dance alone in her chair, flagging down a waitress and grinning at her. Minutes later, after almost choking on her water, the lioness stood and moved fast to the dance floor as if in a trance. Her power moved in front of her, as if it were calling out in her search. Her eyes moved to them before dropping, standing a few paces away. Shana would have blinked in surprise, had she not been much more interested in the feeling of Jon’s lips on her neck than the rather submissive lioness in front of her.
She chuckled a bit as Jon’s words, leaning further back against him as he resumed his gentle attack on her neck. Letting her fingers continue their travels through his hair, Shana watched the lioness in front of her, tilting her head slightly as she took in her appearance. She was far from an alpha, that was plain to see… but how in the hell had she zoned in one them like that? Unless her sense of smell was strong enough to catch lion over the many other scents in the club, she shouldn’t have really noticed they were there.
Now, here was a dilemma. Acknowledge the lioness in front of her, or go back to enjoying the fantastic man that was her Jon at her back. To be honest… she’d much rather go for the latter. Instead, she made a compromise. The lioness could at least wait until the song was over.
