Level:Less than clear. In terms of sheer power he straddles the line between the Alpha and the Beta, in terms of personality he’s subservient within a certain set of bounds. Overall, within the top tiers of the submissives.
Strengths: Apollo is very comfortable with himself and his beast. Deep down, he still believes that lycanthropes and vampires are still human and God’s creatures deserving of respect and dignity. Such compassion can be a profound strength. More than that, his own power to live in the world and retain himself and his own faith allows him to wear the trappings of his faith amongst vampires without a single flash of light or have it flame into a captive star of holy light. Representing his personality, even his abilities as a lycanthrope are relatively abnormal. He possesses the heightened speed of the wolf, but like his wild namesake, not the strength of the larger wolves. Instead he moves amazingly quickly and with grace far beyond what most lycanthropes would consider normal. Also, he also manifests the ability to use himself to calm the energy of others and even heal to a certain extent.
Weaknesses His religious ethics , while admittedly liberal, can get in the wa, especially when it comes to violence. Despite his own power potential, he stands in his own way, not desiring authority or dominance over others, which could be used against him. The same compassion and belief that the “monsters” are still human can also be a profound weakness clouding his judgment of reality. Further, even when forced to fight, he simply can not match the strength of other lycanthropes

Physical description: Apollo is approximately 6 feet tall with a well-toned and taken care of body. In dress he’s somewhat conservative coming from a relatively rural area of Canada. He tends towards simple attire of blue jeans and t-shirts, although on stage he’ll play up the image of the French boy and show off a bit more.
In his animal form, he’s a meager 3.3 feet at the shoulder and light at only 60 kilos in weight. His build is compact and he has sandy yellow fur with patches around his body. He’s easily distinguished from other wolf types by his smaller size and narrower muzzle.

Dislikes: Violence, the weak of will, the “gay” culture, sociopaths and the genuinely evil
Fears: Apollo fears what he could become more than anything else. He knows he could be harsh, cruel and domineering and he’s scared of that vein. Further, he truly fears that someday he won’t be big enough, strong enough, or whatever to save the people he cares about.
Nervous habits: He tends to lapse into French when nervous or scared, or he’ll randomly spout biblical versus.

Personality description: He’s generally fairly easy going and embodies the personality for the role of the teacher and healer within a society. He generally avoids conflict if he can. As both a stripper and an adult model he is billed as the demure, shy, submissive boy, which is basically his true self, very exaggerated. Underneath that he has a strong personality and sense of self. Anyone who pushes the limits will find out just how stubborn he can be when it comes to his base convictions, and how ferocious he can be in defending them. While being willing to perform with or for either sex, outside of performing, men have a better (read only) chance of getting anywhere. Also, given his religious conviction, reality sometimes (often) causes him cognitive dissonance problems with what good boys should be, although he tries to work through them as best he can.

History: Apollo is basically an average Canadian guy, at least as far as his childhood goes. He was born in Chicoutimi, which is one of three arrondissements of the larger Ville de Saguenay, total population approximately 143 000 for all three boroughs. He grew up in the city where his parents are farmers on the outskirts. He attended high school in the Notre-Dame-de-Saguenay neighborhood of the city as an out of zone student where he pursued the performing arts heavily. After graduation, he studied theatre further at L’Université de Québec à Chicoutimi where he received a theatre certificate. He then moved to Toronto to attempt to make a name for himself in the English speaking world.
However, his big secret is his “furry problem” as he likes to call it. Despite his beliefs, at 18 he decided he really was fine with being the plain old Jane human and chose to take the lycanthropy serum. Unfortunately for him, he received a bad dose and started becoming furry once a month. The majority of his friends and family took the problem remarkably well which was fortunate. However, what was unfortunate was the lack of a large shifter community, having at most 50 members in total of all species and only one other canine. He learned to accept his beast and did the best he could with it while still in Chicoutimi, but the lack of any organized shifter power structure left him virtually clueless as to the proper structure of a wolf pack, its rituals, or its terms. He did, however, manage to learn enough from reading to know he should approach the Toronto Ulfric and petition for admittance to his territory.
Unfortunately, things in Toronto were not to last. While he himself remained out of the worst chaos, Toronto was a city on the edge with problems both amongst vampires and amongst lycanthropes. Apollo learned much while there, and it forged him into a person with true convictions and ideas of life, but at the same time, Apollo didn’t fit in a city locked in a struggle for life, a place more in need of warriors and great leaders than teachers and healers, for there are some wounds that can’t be healed and some beliefs that run too deep for education. In the end, he moved to Miami, where he continues to make his way in the world as an adult performer.


Writing Sample: Apollo looked carefully at his friend as he checked his clothing for the routine he was practicing. He intuitively felt something was bothering the other man. Moving towards the stage, he prodded tentatively, “Mexi?” using his pet name for the other man. “What’s wrong mon ami?” The weredingo had a shrewd idea that it might have something to do with a particular female stripper that he knew the Hispanic man had been eyeing, but he wouldn’t intrude on his friend’s life so much as to say so, but the invitation was obvious. Beginning to sway around and limber up, he gave his friend just a little further prodding, “Whatever it is, you know it stays between us.”
