[[OOC: after the Storm thread]]

It had been but a mere few days since Natasha's arrival into Miami. From the moment she stepped foot onto the wonderful streets of Miami, she had been searching for the Mistress of the City. Her current master was preoccupied enough with many other matters, he gave Natasha leave of his command. He was a kind master, but did not pay much attention to many of his vampires, he was more interested in his businesses. She spent her few nights trying to find information on where the Mistress lived. She finally found one vampire who couldn't quite keep his mouth shut. After she found the estate, she went home to prepare for her hopeful meeting with the Mistress.

As she strode to the gates of the estate, her black gown flowed nicely with the night breeze, she hoped her sudden arrival at her home would not been seen as rude. Natasha awaited the guard that she was sure would come as soon as the Mistress felt her presence near her home. As she was escorted to one of the rooms inside the estate, she awaited the Mistress, content to wait however long. She sat down patiently awaiting the arrival of the Mistress of the City poised with her back straight, eyes downcast, and her legs crossed.

Darla, still mentally preocupied with the events of the previous night with Gerard, almost did not feel the arrival of a vampire in her estate. It was not the power of Guy, Sigurd, Joshua or any of her vampires. Telling her guards to allow the vampire entry, she swept down the staircase and followed the power to one of her small but comfortable rooms.

She entered the room quietly and walked to a chair opposite the newcomer, eyes taking her in without the human habbit of disguising the stare. Her suspicion of all newcomers had been aroused by Gerard...was this vampire another of his?

"Good evening...may I enquire as to your visit and it's intentions?"

Natasha stood at the entrance of the Mistress and immediately went into a deep curtsy, her black hair falling forward. Natasha straightened just a bit to where the mistress could see her face, but keeping her eyes downcast from the woman in front of her.

"Greetings Mistress of Miami. I hope you will excuse my intrusion of your night. I merely wanted to gain an audience as to speak with you to gain entry into your fair city" pausing a moment to extend her wrist toward her, "And mayhap your kiss."

She kept her gaze downward, for to make eye contact with one so much above her would be a terrible breach, awaiting her reply.

Darla was pleased to note that Natasha was not one of Gerard's vampires. She knew without asking...this woman was far too 'normal' for a vampire to belong to him. She took the offered wrist and brushed it with her lips before releasing her. Willing to submit...definately not Gerard.

"If you wish to join my Kiss, then I must ask that you answer any questions I have for you...to show your loyalty shall we say."

Taking a seat to release some of the tension from the room, Darla smiled slightly before speaking.

"What brings you to Miami?"

Natasha closed her eyes as Darla's lips brushed her bare wrist. After being accepted into Miami, Natasha straightened and one could see the confidence returning to her posture, no longer weary of what might happen with Darla. She nodded as the mistress spoke of loyalties. "I will answer whatever you ask m'lady"

As Darla sat, Natasha did as well, sitting much the way she had found her, but her gaze was not downcast this time, but upon the woman seated near her.

Natasha couldn't help but smile at the question asked of her. She knew it was coming. "Mistress Strigoi, I have come to Miami for a few reasons. I have always lived near the water, it reminds me of Greece in a way, no matter which Master I was under. I have had many Masters in my span and they have traded me for whatever it would gain them. Some of my Masters were cruel and some ignored all their vampires under them. I have come to Miami searching for a Master and city I will thrive under." Her gaze never left Darla waiting.

"Aah, Greece. It has been a century at least since I visited that wonderful place."

Smiling, Darla did not miss the obvious meaning behind Natasha's words.

"And you feel that I am that Master under whom you would flourish?"

Natasha couldn't help but smile as Darla spoke of her homeland. As she asked her next question, her smile didn't falter, "M'lady, I have heard many things of you and your city. I believe you will be a Mistress in which I would have respect and loyalty too as well as enjoy the city around us as we should."

Natasha waited for the Mistress's reaction smiling as she waited. Many things were going through her mind: Would the Mistress accept her? If this fails where would she go? Who will care enough for her to stay in their City and not be traded away yet again? Does Darla have any of The Traveler's vampires already, do they have the power to possess? Although many of these things were going through her mind not one of them showed on her face, she may not be a Master, but Natasha had been around for too long to know emotions may break even the best vampire down.

"You flatter me, Natasha, with your complimetns to both me and my city. You are welcome in my Kiss, and I offer you the chance to live with me in my estate should you find yourself without a home at present."

Natasha bowed her head to her now Mistress. "M'lady, at present time I do not have a home to call my own, I have spent what few precious nights I had here to find you Mistress. I would truly appreciate you opening your home to me lady Darla."

"M'lady, do you share your home with all of your Kiss? I am looking forward to meeting the rest of my family." She spoke softly and with happiness in her voice.

"It is no problem, you may choose your room in a moment. As for the living conditions of my Kiss...my Temoin lives here, Guy. Sigurd chooses to live in his own home, as do Kiana and Jacob. My pomme de sang lives here, but no other vampires at present."

Smiling, Darla stood and lead Natasha to the foot of the staircase, leading her to the living quarters of her estate so she could choose a room.

Nodding as Darla spoke of her Kiss, Natasha filed away the names, she payed particular attention to the name of her Temion, Guy. Because she did not want to be difficult, the first room she was shown, she accepted. "M'Lady I truly appreciate all you have done for me so far" She bowed and went into her room to see if she could make it her own.

Smiling as she watched Natasha, Darla showed her the rooms and was not let down by the expectation that she would take the first one rather than me awkward.

"You are welcome Natasha...I am sure you will have the chance to repay me one way or another whilst in my Kiss. I shall leave you to settle in now."
