Bloodlines of the Race of Vampires
Credited to the wonderfully smashtabulous Guy for writing this up for me. XD

Belle Morte: The Beautiful Death. Vampires of this bloodline have powers that center around sexuality. Vampires descended from Belle Morte may undergo a slight change in appearance on their turning to make them more beautiful. They could potentially be able to raise lust in others, see their heart’s desire, or even force them to love. Greatest and most dangerous of the powers of Belle Morte is the Ardeur. Exceedingly rare , with only three known possesors, vampires with this power are labeled as Succubi and Incubi. This ravishing power forces its holder to feed off of sex, and can become addictive. Beware, all the powers of Belle’s line cut both ways and don’t pay attention to such trivialities as age or sexual orientation. You may want to know your enemy’s deepest desire, but do you want him to know yours?

The Dragon: The warriors of vampiredom. Vampires of the Dragon’s line base their powers off of violence. This is one of the more obscure lines around. Once upon a time the Dragon was one of the leading creators of vampires. Now, she secludes herself. Perhaps you may be able to feed from violence, but what other powers might there be that use violence as their base?

Morte D’Amour: The lover of death. It should come as no surprise that the most Macabre of vampires come from this line. The theme of this bloodline is death and decay. Some of the vampires of this line possess the ability to literally rot at will and reform later, making fire or sunlight the only surefire method of killing them. Still other vampires of this line may spread corruption with their bite. The chosen victim will literally begin to rot and decay unless they are powerful enough to resist. What other power might there be in the despair of death?

Moroven/Nemhain: Even the mention of the name of the Sourdre de Sange of this bloodline will instill fear into any that have met her and can call her power, even from across the Atlantic. Vampires of this line are known as Mora or Nighthags. They can cause fear and sheer terror in everyone around them and then feed off that fear. Thankfully, Moroven secludes herself from the world. How did you escape your worst nightmare made real?

The Earthmover: The oldest known vampire aside from the Mother Dark was the Sourdre de Sange of this line. This bloodline predates the evolution of humanity by at least several millennia, and is possibly millions of years old. This bloodline was able to cause earthquakes on a whim and could walk amongst the daylight. Another master was almost entirely resistant to silver and repelled a flamethrower attack by reversing the flames in midair. What other children of this now leaderless bloodline might there be?

[b]The Queen of Nightmares:
Nothing definitive is known of this bloodline. It’s Sourdre de Sange is the head of the vampire council but she has secluded herself for many centuries from the world outside. Although, the name of this bloodline suggests that one of their powers may be over the realm of dreams.

The Master of Beasts: Vampires of this bloodline have an increased affinity with animals and shapeshifters. Considered one of the minor powers on the council, this bloodline doesn’t appear to confer any advantages beyond the ability to control many forms of lycanthropy. While many of the council can control more than one species, most of them are limited to a certain “family” so to speak, however vampires of this line are not. Attack with your cats or your dogs, or maybe your rodents?

The Obsidian Sacrificial Knife Butterfly: One of the few bloodlines of vampires that isn’t European in Origin. The Sourdre de Sange of this line is the “Goddess” Itzpapalotl, an ancient Aztec Vampire. Vampires of this line have power as the basis of their abilities. They may confer or take power from others, some even to the point of being able to draw the very life energy from someone and release their soul. For more than 50 years Itzpapalotl has killed every vampire who has dared to enter her territory, and the council has declared her realm taboo. The power is great, but is it worth the risk?

The Traveler: A bloodline with the apparently unique ability possess the bodies of lesser vampires, allowing him to go anywhere there are vampires without risking his body. Also, this bloodline carries with it the ability to bolster the abilities of another vampire, irregardless of their actual blood line. Perhaps there are other forms of trickery left in this line?

Magnus Scientia:(player created) The grand knowledge. Vampires of this bloodline have abilities that enable them to gather and use information. Some vampires of this line can gain information and memories from touching another person or object. Additionally they often possess an aura and a gaze that is often the equal of that of a vampire of considerably greater age or power. Often seen as minor powers by many, with the right combination of personal traits, vampires of this line could also make great leaders, religious or secular. What are the dark secrets of this world? Further Questions or want to join this rare blood line? Please PM Guy

Strigoi:(player created) A select bloodline due to her reluctance to sire too many vampires, vampires descended from Darla have an increased ability to play on emotions. She herself is able to take an emotion and completely change it, or even create completely new ones that have no link to the world around the subject. Although able to toy with emotions more easily, her descendants can not feed from the emotions they cause unlike Darla. When love can be turned to rage in the blink of an eye, can you trust your mind? Wish to join the Elite? Contact Darla for joining this bloodline.
