Title: Just what is a Pack, anyway?
Description: TAG: All members of Puteulanus Luna
Adelphus Beckett - July 25, 2007 12:15 PM (GMT)
Sitting cross-legged on the floor of the living room, Adelphus Beckett, Ulfric of the soon to be finalised Puteulanus Luna Pack was awaiting the arrival of his wolves with something close to excitement bubbling in his chest. His white hair seemed to reflect the light of the fire burning in the fireplace next to him, and his bright green eyes flickered with the flames' reflection. When at home, he always wore Kimono, and it was from this that he now took his bespelled ink and paper, and began to draw.
Taking his time to make it as realistic as he could, he forced himself not to draw in the oh-so-popular manga style, and instead went for a more conventional drawing. 15 minutes later he was left holding an ink painting of his wolves as he had last seen them, standing on the beach under the moonlight and all looking to him as Ulfric. It had been one of the most proud moments in his life, and the memory was clear to him. He had captured the very essence of his wolves it seemed.
Looking out at him, their portrayals seemed to hold the force of their personality. Katt, his first wolf, with her calm power and inner strength looked up at him with a slight smile from the center of the paper. On her left stood Rowan, the submissive wolf whom had been so troubled but had bonded with Katt easily as a friend. She looked up at him timidly, and was holding hands with Katt. Beside Rowan stood Richard, his tall frame high above her yet his gentle and submissive self shined through the ink lines of his eyes. On the other side of Katt stood Sapphira. The wolf who had run to his aid at the sight of Jace grabbing his shirt smiled warmly up at him and her confidently quiet nature showed in every line. Next came Jacy, her leather catsuit setting her apart from the rest of the Pack and that huge confidence and self-knowledge beaming up at him through her knowing smile and slightly seductive expression. Finaly came Jace, the newest wolf and the one with such little control. His cocky grin that had plastered his face even as he was sick at Adelphus' feet was present in the drawing, but his wolf was also subtly captured in his eyes as his control was so poor due to him not having had his first full moon yet.
Smiling down at his drawing, Adelphus was so proud to notice that his memory had shown them all smiling at him, rather than fear or dislike. He'd of hated to have them portrayed as anything but happy. Whispering to himself as he looked at the painting, he decided to leave it colorless and set it on the low table next to him.
"My Pack...my wolves..."
He only had a moment to continue musing on this latest devlopment in his life when the doorbel sounded through the house, bringing his attention to the front door.
Rowan - July 25, 2007 10:21 PM (GMT)
Rowan smiled up at her Ulfric when he opened the door. "Hello, Adelphus," she said quietly. After taking off her shoes, she followed him into the living room, catching sight of an ink sketch resting on a coffee table. She padded over to it, eyebrows raising at the sight of so many recognizable faces, including her own. She felt the corners of her mouth curl upwards. Glancing up at Adelphus, she said, "This is beautiful! I recognize them all..."
She wondered when the other wolves would be arriving.
Adelphus Beckett - July 25, 2007 10:37 PM (GMT)
Smiling back at Rowan as he let her in, he took note of the fact that she slipped out of her shoes and left them with his own on the front porch next to the door. She knew some of his home customs and it pleased him no end that he had found somebody in America that recognised the gesture and upheld it. He had decided it was warm enough not to need his tabi today and was barefoot, for the house was warm enough that the floor was pleasantly warm rather than cold.
Leading her into the living room, the futons, low tables and shoji clearly marking it as a Japanese-owned home. There was not much color in the room, mostly black and white and cream, but in the far end was his family shrine and was a burst of color. Richly decorarated in flowers, incense sticks and jade tablets, it was a splash of eye catching beauty in the clean efficency of his home. He himself was a black-clad, white-haired and pale-skinned man, so he seemed to fit into the decorating apart from his jade eyes.
Smiling as Rowan spotted the painting, he moved next to her quietly to stare down at it with her, mentally thinking that he had done quite well with Rowan's portrayal. There was no pride at the thought of his talent, but the fact that he had met the people he had drawn.
"Can I offer you anything? I am waiting for the others to arrive before I start breakfast so I can know what you all like, but feel free to ask if you want a drink or snack whilst you are waiting."
Jacqueline Kapelos - July 27, 2007 01:53 AM (GMT)
Jacy walked up to Adelphus' house. She admired it from outside before she walked up on the porch. She decided to wear jeans and a green t-shirt and try to keep her power in check. She saw the two pairs of shoes next to the door so she removed her sandals. She waited a minute then knocked on the door. As she waited she wondered which wolf was already here.
Adelphus Beckett - July 27, 2007 11:15 AM (GMT)
At the knock on his door, Adelphus smiled widely and turned from his painting and Rowan to go and open the door on an already barefoot Jacy. Once again his happiness at the recognition of his customs spiked and he continued to smile as he lead Jacy in. He was also subtly pleased she had forsaken the catsuit, as it had been a bit distracting and would of been far too much for a breakfast meeting. The green tshirt was a darker shade than his eyes, but he loved the color in any shade.
"Jacy, it is lovely to see you again. Please, come in."
Leading her into the living room where Rowan was still looking at his painting with a smile, he motioned for her to take a seat or do as she liked then took his seat back next to the fireplace, crossing his legs and relaxing.
"We are waiting for the rest of the Pack to arrive before I start breakfast, but if you want anything whilst you are waiting just ask."
JaceDeitor - July 29, 2007 02:12 AM (GMT)
Letting out a hum drum sigh as he closed the door to the taxi, throwing a handful of wadded money at the driver, he stared at the house. It was simple enough to get the job done, and different enough to appeal itself to him. Trampling up the walkway he stared at the door for a few moments before rapping lightly. The ill sense of nervous excitement pouring over him suddenly.
It was bad enough his dreams were filled with weird things, meetings, happenings he couldn't imagine, now his reality was filled with were-wolves and magical powers and who knows what else. "Just my luck.." he grimaced, placing a shoulder against the wall as he awaited the door to be opened.
Adelphus Beckett - August 4, 2007 07:05 PM (GMT)
Jacy had not yet replied when yet another knock at the door moved him from his seat and he knew who it was before he even opened the door. The power leaking around the frame was enough.
"Good morning Jace, please come in."
Jacqueline Kapelos - August 4, 2007 11:20 PM (GMT)
Jacy felt power leaking through the door. The new wolf. She shook her head at Adelphus on the offer. She'd wait until the rest of the pack arrived.
Adelphus Beckett - August 6, 2007 11:25 AM (GMT)
Adelphus looked at Rowan, Jacy and Jace, chuckling inwardly at the similarity of the two names, and thought of Sapphira and Richard, yet to arrive. He was not sure if Deborah and Angel were to be coming, as they had not given a definate answer to his offer. He had told them about today, and was hoping they would come.
Leading Jace into the living room, Adelphus left the two women and the man alone for a moment as he walked into the kitchen. He got himself some fruit juice and walked back to his seat by the fireplace.
"So, Jace. How have you been over the last two days? It is not long now until the full moon so you are going to be a bit worse yet, but we will sort you out soon I promise."
Angel Ross - August 13, 2007 03:19 PM (GMT)
Angel parked out in front of the house and turned the ignition off. The AC kicked off and the black exterior of her jaguar started to collect the heat right away.
She put her head against the steering wheel and wondered, not for the first time, if she really wanted to do this. After the last disaster with the Hidden Forest, she was nervous. She had had nightmares all night about her old pack.
She took in a deep breath and opened her door, taking the keys out of the ignition and pocketing them. One key chain hung out of her pocket. It was of her in her BDU and of another man, looking to be old enough to be her father, with his arm around her.
She stopped on the walk up to the house, her heart rate speeding up. This was her last chance to turn around and continue searching on her own.
She shook the feeling off and forced herself to walk up the walk and on to the porch. She could feel the energy leaking out of the house. It just made her all that much more nervouse. She took a moment to calm her heart beat. She didnt want to walk in with her enegry level spiked.
When she was as calm as she was going to get, Angel knocked on the door and slid her hands in to her pockets.
Adelphus Beckett - August 14, 2007 11:21 PM (GMT)
Adelphus heard the car engine approaching the house and wondered which of his wolves it would be this time. He knew it wouldn't be anybody else as the house was set back from the road and only the people who recieved his address ever knew to come visiting. Walking to the door, he waited for the knock before opening it onto the face of Angel. He smiled and motioned for her to come in, then shut the door with a quick glance at the rather nice car. The nervous energy coming from the woman was fairly well supressed, but her body language showed that she had something on her mind.
"Good morning Angel. Are you alright?"
Angel Ross - August 15, 2007 02:28 PM (GMT)
Angel smiled and leaned down to take off her shoes. She slid them over away from the door and straightened, still smiling.
"I am fine Adelphus. I've just bee thinking about some things recently. Nothing ti be concered over though."
She smiled and pushed her hair behind her ear, "SHall we? i am sure your other guests will become nervous if you are absent for to much longer."
Adelphus Beckett - August 16, 2007 11:08 AM (GMT)
"Well so long as you are alright then I won't bother you further, please come."
Smiling, he led her to the living room and motioned for her to take a seat anywhere she liked. The room was slowly filling up...not long now until they were all here and they could begin.
JaceDeitor - August 23, 2007 06:57 AM (GMT)
Distracted fully into his own deep thoughts he didn't hear anything anyone bothered saying to him until he found himself being led into a living room. As his host left him to his own devices he slipped his hands into the pockets of his bottoms and let out a long huff of relief, he had thought the home of a werewolf would be strewn with corpses of things like deer and mail men stupid enough to come to near the property. Tilting his head and admiring some paintings on the walls he mused to himself out loud, but not to loud o be overheard, "I guess some people prefer there own cultures to us Americans," His eyebrows furrowed at his own slightly racist remark. He sounded more and more like his own father, which he loathed. His lack of control was only getting worse, and he had the sudden urge to scream out dramatically for answers as to what was happening to him, how to get rid of it, and where the nearest brothel was. At the mere recollection of it he felt the rough erection in his pants throb back into physical awareness. It hadn't abated since his attack and didn't feel it quite necessary to ask about it, writing it off as increased testosterone or something. But the level of lust which filled him so full now was nearly staggering, it made him both angry and judgmental, two things he would normally count himself as not being.
"Things better start happening around here...." he turned as the last of his words trailed into murmurs of frustration leaving the room in search of what he hoped would be answers.
Adelphus Beckett - August 25, 2007 10:15 PM (GMT)
Watching Jace, Adelphus' calm expression slowly stiffened and his green eyes flashed as his wolf moved behind them. The arrogance and impatience from the young wolf made him want to pin him to the floor and growl in his face, remind him who was boss. If Jace did not learn his place soon then he would have to be taught it, something Adelphus did not want to have to get into this early into the Pack. Settling for a low growl with a tinge of his wolf in his eyes, paling them to a hazel color, he stared at Jace and stood slowly, power prickling at the skin of all around just enough to be felt uncomfortably.
"Things will and are starting to happen around here Jace. It takes time and effort to start and keep a Pack, to create a trusting and friendly group that all can live in, that we can all rely on. If you are not patient enough for the ones that seek to help you and take you in as your own, then maybe you would be best suited to discover the hardship of being a lone wolf."
Jacqueline Kapelos - August 26, 2007 02:22 AM (GMT)
Jacy smiled at Angel as she entered. She didn't greet her because her attention was drawn away by Jace. She watched Jace. He needed to learn his place. Jacy felt more than saw Adelphus' expression change. Adelphus' power was biting but not entirely painful. Jacy didn't offer to help. She felt that Adelphus had everything under control but she was ready if he needed her. Jacy suddenly smelt lust. It was coming from Jace but not directed toward any of them she didn't think.
JaceDeitor - August 27, 2007 08:46 PM (GMT)
Without wishing to or even thinking of the words, they spilled from his mouth in a rant of anger and lust he never knew was in him, "And how patient am I suppose to be?! Waiting for these lil girls to show up before I can fu**ing ask how and why this happened to me, how to get rid of it?" His fingers bit into his palms and he felt the rush of prickly tingles return to his skin, the draw of energy from the other wolves in the room sparking his own into a light pulse felt deep inside his stomach. And at that moment of release, he wanted them, wanted them all, even Adelphus. He could see them all tangled together in a mass of pale skin turned to fur.
Taking a shaky breath he buried his hands into his pockets, forcing them from being fists. Drooping his head he murmured a few apologies "Just a little stressed and having a hard time dealing with all this crap...I wan-need your guys help, and I appreciate you letting me into your home" he gave a small nod and that perfectly practiced smirk.
"Just forget I said or did anything, I can wait."
Adelphus Beckett - August 28, 2007 04:04 AM (GMT)
Adelphus' voice did not raise even slightly higher than his normal pitch, but the anger carried in it all the same.
"Those little girls Jace, are your Pack. Your family, your protecters, and your friends. You can not get rid of this, but you can learn to live with it. To exist with your wolf and even find a friendship with him."
He could smell and see the lust in the young wolf, and coupled with his inability to control his beast, it was a bad mixture.
"Jace, tomorrow is the full moon. You will be able to get your first shift out of the way then, and we will all be there to help you. Every last one of us is here to help you through this, to make sure you are safe."
JaceDeitor - August 28, 2007 03:10 PM (GMT)
Giving a small scoff he shook his head from left to right slowly, "I'm not overly worried about my own safety as much as I am everyone else. I walk into a club and nearly jump into the nearest swarm of bodies, I'm in the same room with someone alone for more then 2 minutes and I'm contemplating holding them down to have my way with them. Suffice to say, I'm not at all to happy with the way things are going with this illness."
His hands slipped from his pockets and he roughly crossed his arms over his chest, he didnt like being singled out, and he hated that on his 'first day' in the pack he was already getting a lecture from big daddy.
Adelphus Beckett - August 29, 2007 11:44 PM (GMT)
"You needn't worry for our safety when it comes to you Jace. You are a new wolf, and strong as you may be some of us here are far stronger. I will admit that I have not seen anybody be quite so...lusty...before their first shift as you are, but I have a feeling as to why."
Shaking his head, he pushed his wolf back slightly and sat down again, the energy vanishing from the room and his eyes returning to normal green.
"This may be an illness technically, but it will in time become a way of life to you. You will learn to handle it and you will be fine, trust me. We are all here to help, and tomorrow night when we meet in the woods we can be there when you shift. We will make sure everything is alright. I promise you."
Kelsi Whittle - August 30, 2007 01:15 AM (GMT)
It was when Kelsi sat down in the taxi, clad in ripped jeans, a green t-shirt, tennis shoes, and her rectangular glasses with her long hair tied up into a bun on her head, that she realized the full extent of what she was doing. She was going over to a stranger’s house, only because yet another stranger had come up to her randomly on the street while she was shopping for that month’s food supply. He had told her to come here for some reason, and she was actually doing what he wanted her to do. For all she knew she could be walking into some cult that had been around for centuries bent on killing women then building a house out of their bones. Though, she thought about the situation she had put herself in while the taxi pulled out into the street.
As the ride started, Kelsi already had a weird feeling in her stomach. What if these people knew about what had happened to her? Ever since the attack on her house she had been renting the most scandalous movies and documentaries on lycanthropy and werewolves. It was only when she stopped at An American Werewolf in London (because of the fact that the werewolves looked like someone was throwing stuffed bears around) that she realized that no movie or scientific phenomenon could help her right now. She would only need to ride it out until it stopped, right? But in accordance to her internet sites and information, it wasn’t going to stop any time soon. That is, hoping that she didn’t get shot in the next five seconds.
Kelsi screamed when she looked out the window to see a homeless man trying to clean the windows. After a thought like that, she really didn’t need to be seeing random people that close to her with something that was long and looked sharp. Finally, though, the light changed and they were off again. It wasn’t another ten minutes afterward that Kelsi arrived at a large Japanese-styles mansion. She gaped and almost forgot to pay the driver, which he rudely told her of when she had started to walk away. Pulling a ten dollar bill out of her messenger bag, she pushed her rectangular glasses up the bridge of her nose and walked up to the door.
She had never done something like this, being very wary of strangers when she was a child and never coming over to anyone’s house unless they were a personal friend. But this was different. She could feel it in the pit of her stomach that she needed to do this, or live her life wondering what it could have been all about. Kelsi knocked once quietly. When no one answered, she found the door unlocked and stepped quietly inside.
“Hello?” she asked, hesitantly, and only for a second thinking that it was deserted and haunted. Her voice reverberated off of the walls and it came back at her with full force, sending a chill down her spine. “Hello-o?” she asked a bit louder than the first time, changing pitch on the ‘o’ to have more emphasis on it.
JaceDeitor - August 30, 2007 04:28 AM (GMT)
Jaces reply was cut short, as a rap on the door was followed with a quiet "Hello?" he gave a small glance back to Adelphus and then down the hall to the origin of the call. The hairs on the back of his neck had stopped prickling, and his muscles which were tight and ready to take a beating slowly relaxed.
"Mind if I take this one boss? Im sure everyone here could use a 5 minute break without me in the room" he gave a small wave of his hand and waited patiently for any orders.
Rowan - August 30, 2007 10:36 PM (GMT)
(OOC: I'm so sorry, guys. I totally forgot about this thread. I'm gonna try to cover everything in one post, so please forgive me if it's confusing)
IC:
Rowan sat cross-legged on the floor when Adelphus went to get the door. She wondered who the second wolf would be, and her question was answered immediately. Jacy walked into the room, her power very controled. Rowan apreciated that and she offered a shy smile. No sooner had Jacy entered the room when there was another knock at the door.
Power was leaking from the entryway, so much that she knew it must be Jace. She smiled up at him as well as Angel when they entered, a smile which slipped when she heard Jace's slightly racist comment, followed by a spike of lust. She was very confused, because the comment and the emotions did not correlate at all. Then the Ulfric's anger leaked out, and even though it was directed at Jace, Rowan shrank where she sat. Again, the scent of lust traveled from Jace, this time far stonger, which frustrated Rowan; fear of him, pity for him, and confusion about him lead to frustration.
She was not sure she agreed with Adelphus. Had her last pack been her family? Had they protected her? No. She prayed to anything that would listen, please, let this pack be different.
Again, there was a knock at the door, and Jace offered to open it.
Richard Brent - August 31, 2007 07:53 PM (GMT)
Richard walked back up to Adelphus's house slowly, aprroaching the door and knocking a few times then leaning on the door frame. He hadn't bothered taking his new set of keys on his morning run as Adelphus had told him about the morning meeting for the pack.
Adelphus Beckett - September 1, 2007 12:07 PM (GMT)
Having sensed the wolf's appraoch, Adelphus had already started to move forwards when Jace offered to open it.
"We shall be there in a moment" he called to the newcomer, then he turned to Jace and nodded. Catching the scent of Richard returning from his run, he smiled slightly as he looked back to Jace.
"Not at all. You can also invite the other wolf that has just arrived behind her, Richard. Bring them both in here please."
JaceDeitor - September 1, 2007 07:21 PM (GMT)
Giving a small but deep sigh he suddenly felt more like a door man. Giving a small wave of his hand he strode to the door, pulling off his over shirt and tossing it over a piece of furniture. To his suprise a girl had let herself in. He looked her up and down and the cold dark voice in his head said 'I wanna touch this." Grimacing into her face, he blinked away the thought and made a sweeping gesture toward the living room. Wordlessly indicating where to go. Stepping around the girl he whipped open the door and stared into the eyes of one of the only other male werewolves. Giving another small wordless nod he stepped aside and ushered him in.
"Were all in the living room."
Richard Brent - September 2, 2007 02:10 PM (GMT)
Richard nodded to Jace and took off his shoes and placed then with the others, walking into the living room nodding a greeting to Adelphus first and then a smile to everyone else before sitting on a couch.
Kelsi Whittle - September 5, 2007 02:23 AM (GMT)
Not soon after her second hello had Kelsi been welcomed. A mans voice traveled from a room not to far from where she was telling her that they would come to her in a moment. She crossed her arms over her chest as she waited, only to be greeted by a man in black (no pun intended) clad. He stood in front of her, looking her up and down. She blushed and was about to say something when he pointed her to where she was supposed to go. She smiled a bit and nodded, feeling a bit weird as she passed by him.
Kelsi soon found herself in what seemed to be a living room. As she looked around, she found that she wasn’t the only person who seemed to have been invited here, and she was seriously hoping that this wasn’t some type of secret society that she would get messed up in. Kelsi turned her head to see the man that had let her in, blushed only sightly, and turned back to the room. She was at a loss of what to do, and who to say hello to. It was obvious, though, that she was in the right place. Not because of anything showing in the people, but just the fact that this was the right address and the fact that no one had thrown a vase at her for interrupting something of importance.
JaceDeitor - September 5, 2007 04:27 AM (GMT)
Closing the door after Richard had entered, he ran his fingers and palm over his hair, leaving it slightly more wavier then it had been. He contemplated leaving right then and there. 'Like they would miss me' his mind chimed. And as he took his first step toward trying the whole "solo wolf" thing, he gave deep momentary thought as to what it would be like, being a monster with no other monsters to tell him that its alright, when his face was twisted and filled with teeth, who would wanna cuddle up to him and wrap there arms around him.
'If Giants are real I guess I could be a big lap dog.'
He smiled and quietly laughed at the disturbingly erotic thought of watching his giant masters wife undressing, licking her face, humping her leg. Shaking away the thought, he quickly stepped back into the living room. Feeling much more cheerful then he did.
Richard Brent - September 5, 2007 04:47 PM (GMT)
Richard looked around at everyone in the room , breathing deeply he leant back on the couch closing his eyes and relaxing.
Adelphus Beckett - September 6, 2007 05:43 PM (GMT)
Looking around the room, Adelphus decided that pretty much everybody who was going to show up had arrived already, and any of his wolves who were late could be filled in later.
"Well now that almost all of us are here, I feel we might as well begin. I want to leave this up to you all, if you have a question, ask. Anything at all and I will answer you. Today is about making sure you are all comfortable and aware."
JaceDeitor - September 6, 2007 09:42 PM (GMT)
Leaning his shoulder against the doorway to the living room, he gave his hand a small wave and waited for someone to make eye contact with him before he blurted. "Is it normal I wanna screw everything that moves?" he smiled, not minding this one loss of wording.
Adelphus Beckett - September 7, 2007 10:00 AM (GMT)
Seeing Jace's hand move out of the corner of his eye, Adelphus turned to look at him and waited for him to speak. If he didn't always maintain steely control over his expressions and emotions his eyebrows would of raised at the question. He guessed he might as well test his suspicions as to the cause of Jace's lust now then...
"No Jace, it is not. Hormonal changes are to be expected obviously, and that could increase the levels of testosterone in you...but not this much. I have a feeling that this is a sign of the position you should hold in the Pack. You would have to have much training in control and that I can help with, but once you have learned solid control then I feel you may well be destined to become the Pack Eros. You would be the one to teach new wolves how to control themselves during sex, so that they don't shift during the act."
Kelsi Whittle - September 7, 2007 09:21 PM (GMT)
Kelsi shifted in her spot when she heard what the man had said after coming in the room and leaning against the doorway. She wanted to look back again and eye the man, but held herself from it with all the power she could muster. He was, apparently very blunt and didn’t care what people thought about him. She would have to write this down when the means and ability was less embarrassing that this.
The female wolf had no idea what was going on then when another man in the middle of the room started to talk. They were talking about positions, and a pack. Confused at first, Kelsi pulled her messenger bag (that was currently holding her laptop, her most prized possession) securely on her arm, crossed her arms loosely over her chest and eyed all of the people in the room self-consciously. They all looked as if they understood everything that came out of his mouth, and that she was the only one standing in the middle of the room with strangers of which she had only come to visit because another stranger told her to. Kelsi was starting to think that this visit was a bad idea.
JaceDeitor - September 7, 2007 09:49 PM (GMT)
Impatiently he pushed himself from the door way and strode a bit deeper into the living room. "Ulfric's, Eros. Were-wolves. I don't care about all that. I just wanna know how to make it stop." his mind had liked the idea of teaching others about sex. It made his ego and other things swell at the thought.
"And no offense, you of all people teaching me about control probably wouldn't be necessary. I think I have quite a bit of that already."
He shoved his hands into his pockets, tilting his head and giving a good look over everyone, tired already of reactions and rules and dominance. He just wanted to feel like he use to. To wake up and go to school, worry about things like, how well his muscles looked, who he was gonna date, and when the next time he would have casual sex would be. Not how long his tail was gonna be, was he allowed to kill and eat everything he wanted to, and when the next time he would have casual sex would be...I guess some things never change.
Jacqueline Kapelos - September 9, 2007 02:06 AM (GMT)
Jacy smiled slightly as she listened to Jace talk. They had all been where he was but the difference for must of them was that they understood they'd needed help. Jace didn't think he needed to learn control. He did. Jacy thought about letting her power drift over him but decided Adelphus wouldn't like it. She thought about asking Adelphus what her spot in the pack would be but decided against that too. She'd wait and see what Adelphus decided.
Rowan - September 14, 2007 12:44 AM (GMT)
Rowan raised an eyebrow at Jace's comment. This explained alot. She held back a snort as he said he didn't need control. She could tell he liked the idea of being eros, but if he ever wanted to help others learn control, he needed much better composure. Even if he was controling the impulse to tackle someone and have his way with them, he would never survive in the preternatural world without composure. She should know. As a submissive, her place was obvious and no one expected her to hide her emotions--something she'd always been bad at.
but in contrast with her, it was obvious that Jace was powerful. The only thing that made him weak was that he didn't know how to chanel it yet.
In her old pack, the line between dominants and submissives was distinct. In her old pack, the line between Bolverk and Eros was blurred. In her old pack, it was all about control and lack thereof.
She had a feeling this pack would be different. She was glad.
JaceDeitor - September 14, 2007 04:51 AM (GMT)
"I mean I'm still here aren't I?" he continued after a moment, scuffing his shoulder back against the door frame. "I came here looking for help and so far all I've been able to accomplish is getting everyone to either hit on me, ignore me, try and fuck me or simply try and keep me quiet." he was losing it again, the peace he found not minutes ago was slipping threw his fingers, and he had no intentions of clinging to it.
He let out a deep over exaggerated laugh, half doubling over, "HA! I mean, no one has even told me what the hell is going on inside of me, why I feel like theres a damn snake in my stomach, slithering around when I don't do something it likes. And for the record, it likes sex, and lots of it, I woke up last night with an erection taller then me! "You want to know exactly what is happening Jace? Well, you have been bitten by a wolf, you now have a wolf inside of you, and that wolf needs to learn to control itself, as do you, or you will find yourself in a situation you really won't like. You think we won't help you, that you already have control? Wake up kid, you have less control than anybody else in this room and you know it."

Can you in all your wisdom of great Ulfric, fill me in on that part?"
