Misfit- noun. : One who is unable to adjust to one's environment or circumstances or is considered to be disturbingly different from others.Misfit is an understatement to the young and quite unique students of Forks High School. The word misfit doesn't even describe the half of it. These students remain hidden in this school to keep themselves locked away from the outside world by their choice. It's not their fault that the world can't handle their special “abilities.” So that's why they stay here at Forks. It was started not too long ago by a vampire that knew of the struggles of these different people. She understood the pain and suffering that came from others who taunted and made fun of those who were unique. And that was the exact reason why she started the school. Finding an ancient castle that was no longer used, she decided that it was the perfect place to build up the school that she knew would be famous one day for it's ability to contain creatures and keep the “normal” people out. And it did just that. Students started flocking into the halls in hope to find their purpose of living. Forks soon became a boarding school that, at first, kept hundreds of students. It soon became thousands as more and more heard of the wondrous tales of Forks High School. The place where you can belong without being ridiculed for your species.
But this all seems to good to be true right? Not all stories that start like this one end the way that you want it to. Soon students began to turn against each other claiming that their species was superior. Vampires against werewolves, Nymphs against trolls. The school had turned into a place not of acceptance, but competition. The vampire who started it all waited as she watched her school crumble down. The only thing that she had left was Forks, and though the school itself wasn't gone, the purpose was lost and forgotten. Soon enough, she disappeared and was never seen again by the students. Some say that she just disappeared into thin air. Others say that she stabbed herself in the heart. Nobody really knows what happened to her. After she left, the students began to settle down a bit. But it doesn't seem like it will be long before things start to heat up again. There's tension in the air and everybody can feel it. It only takes a spark to light the fire. It all depends on who lights it first. What will become of
Forks High School?
