Description: Attn Katt

Christopher Henley - June 27, 2008 10:25 PM (GMT)
The dust had settled for the most part at the pack house. They cleaned up a bit outside and Chris walked the perimeter to make sure all the wolves at the house would be safe. He even gave a call into his lieutenant, off the record of course, to step up the patrol in this area for the night. Not paranoid, overly cautious of his Pack. Chris and Katt both walked out the door together without a word. They needed to be alone at least to talk about what happened tonight.

"I'll follow you" Chris said as they came to the end of the path, he gave her a brief kiss, but said everything he needed to at that moment. It kind of hit him as they were making sure everything was secure that he was now in charge of the entire Pack with the best woman he had ever met being his Lupa. It gave him such a sense of happiness and nervousness all at the same time he wasn't sure what to do about it. So he turned the radio on and followed Katt to her beach house.

Many thoughts were going through his head, mostly good ones until his train of thought led him to the source of tonight. Adelphus, his jaw tightened at just the thought of him. He let the death grip he had on the steering wheel relax before he had to replace the whole steering column because he couldn't control his temper. Christopher put all thoughts of him away. No he wanted to focus all thoughts on the woman who was pulling into her driveway now.

He got out and walked over to Katt and took her in his arms for the first real time tonight. Yes he had carried her into the house, but he wasn't hugging her then. Apparently her getting shot took more of a toll on him than he realized. "How are you feeling?" he asked finally releasing her from the hug. His voice was steady but he was sure she would be able to hear the worry that laced his words. A lot had happened tonight and he was coming off the adrenaline rush all the events caused. Him and his Lupa had somethings to discuss.

His wolf didn't want to discuss anything though, he reached out to Katt through his fingertips and found her wolf. He nuzzled the female, circling her and then gave a playful bite to her. He was happy to see Katt made it through alright too. After all it was instinct that brought him to call her beast, he had seen it done by the man who helped him shift, but didn't even think it possible he was strong enough for that skill. Apparently instinct was a better judge than his rational mind.

Christopher followed her up and into the house, he shut and dead bolted the door behind them. "Would you like a beer?" he asked walking to the kitchen. He had been her once before and still remembered the layout as if he was living here. Living arrangements, yet another thing to talk about. He opened the fridge and grabbed the drinks. All topics would come in time, just let fate guide you, it hasn't done too bad of a job so far he thought staring at the beautiful woman standing in front of him.

Katt Marshall - June 28, 2008 04:38 AM (GMT)
To say it had been one hell of a day would be the understatement of the damned century. On top of the emotional roller coaster ride, Katt had also been shot, damn near bled to death, and then had her beast ripped out from her. All in the matter of a few hours. Yeah. One hell of a day. After eveything had settled down, Katt checked the inside of the house, making sure that things were secure, while Chris did the same for the outside. They had to talk, but they sure as hell weren't leaving until they were positive that the pack was safe.

Soon, Katt found herself walking out the front door, heading back towards her car. She nodded to Chris, returning the small kiss. It was as if she was working on autopilot, moving because she knew she had to but not really sure what else was going on. So much had happened today, and it was all starting to settle in her brain. On top of how tired she was, all those thoughts just added to it. She got behind the wheel, started her car and pulled out of the driveway. Her house was just a short distance away, maybe a five minute drive, but those five minutes seemed to drag on to an eternity.

Her eyes fell on the letter from Adelphus and she quickly pushed all thoughts away from it. The last thing she needed right then was to think about that, or she just might have kept on driving until she found him and ripped his goddamn heart out. Instead, Katt let her thoughts turn back to the man n the car behind her. Chris. Chris was Ulfric now and she was Lupa. Talk about a mind job. Excitement, nervousness, elation. A myriad of emotions fluttered inside of her. Katt had never thought she would end being Freki, let alone Lupa of a pack. And now, here it was, all laid out in a neat little row in front of her. She couldn't imagine having a better partner in all of it than Chris though.

Katt took the last turn, the one into her driveway. She got out of the car and stood there for a moment, just waiting. Chris moved in close, and without a word, wrapped his arms around her. Every thought left her head in that moment as her arms circled around his waist, letting her head fall to rest on Chris' chest. Katt took in a deep breath, pulling his scent down deep into her. Slowly, Chris pulled away, keeping his hands touching her. The worry in his voice was clear as he spoke, tugging at her heartstrings. "I'm just really tired now, and my chest kind of aches. But, I'll be fine. Better me than Kelsi, or one of the others. I don't know what I would have done if..." Katt's voice faded, shaking her head. She didn't even want to think about that.

Chris' wolf seemed to think that this would be a good time to do a check of his own. She felt the beast leave Chris and enter her, welcoming the warmth and scent of pack and Chris that he brought with him. Her wolf let out a small and contented whimper in her sleepy state, nuzzling back against him. Keeping her hand locked in Chris' Katt turned and led the way into the house. Chris moved through, completely comfortable as he stepped into the kitchen. "A beer sounds fan-fucking-tastic right about now," she said, moving to the couch and flopping down tiredly into it. She lifted her head as Chris entered the room, letting her eyes lock onto his. "Chris.. I... Just please come here and hold me for a minute. I'm kind of shaky and a little freaked that I am feeling kind of needy right now. So, please don't make me ask again."

Christopher Henley - June 28, 2008 05:01 AM (GMT)
He grinned at her words, fan-fucking-tastic, such a thing his Katt would say. That thought made his smile grow despite all the happenings. It faded a bit walking into the room, she looked exhausted and he just wanted to make everything better for her. Without a word he moved to her, placing the beers on the coffee table and took her into his arms. "You'll never have to ask me twice for this Katt."

He sat on the couch pulling her to his side, trying to touch every inch of her Chris could. In some relationships silence was regarded as something bad that wasn't suppose to happen if two people had enough in common, not for them. The silence held all they needed at the moment, nothing and everything. He took in the scent of her, his Lupa, sometimes rocking with her in his arms and sometimes just holding her. Chris brought a hand up to her chin and tilted her head gently upwards to place a kiss on her perfect lips.

"Feeling any better?" he asked, tone soothing, not holding any of the worry from before. He laid his head on top of hers running his hand along her arm. "I need to make sure my Lupa is not getting buyers remorse." Smooth with a capital S there slick he thought. Well it was one way to bring a couple topics up. He always made small little comments when nervous, hopefully she wouldn't see how transparent the last statement was.

Katt Marshall - June 28, 2008 05:16 AM (GMT)
Without skipping a beat, Chris closed the distance between them and sat down besde her one the couch. Setting the beers down, he wrapped his arms around her, pulling her close. Katt sunk in against him, letting her body go limp in that moment. This was what she needed. Now furry worries, no anger, no fear, just this. She needed the man that she loved and who loved her back just to hold her. Chris' arms were warm and comforting around her, rocking her at times, and just holding her, letting her know that he was there. For a moment, Katt actually had to blink back a few tears, forcing them away. She didn't know why in the blue hell she was crying, or even why she wanted to, but she damn sure wasn't going to let them fall.

Instead, Katt took in another deep breath, pulling Chris' scent in and letting it warm her from her inside out. Chris' arm moved, settling under her chin and lifting her head up slowly, settling his lips against hers. Katt's hand lifted, moving to Chris' cheek, lightly touching him with her palm. The kiss ended as softly as it began and Katt let her head move back to rest on Chris' shoulder. His voice rumbled in his chest as he spoke, and she gave a small smile, followed by a soft laugh. Chris had a tendency to blurt out the things that worried him when he was nervous, a cute and endearing habit that Katt had come to love. "Never in a million years. Best purchase I've ever made. I give it five stars," she said, another small laugh leaving her as the weight of Chris' head pressed against hers.

Katt snuggled in closer to him as his hand travelled over her arm. "I'm feeling much better now. Thank you," she said, her voice soft.

Christopher Henley - June 28, 2008 05:15 PM (GMT)
A wave of relieve washed through him as he felt her smile against his chest and heard the soft laugh. "I am going to the store and buying some start stickers for here. I am going to put a 8x11 picture on your refrigerator with 5 gold stickers on it." He began to chuckle at himself. Laughing always lightened the mood. Chris would crack jokes and make his mom smile when she was going through her treatments and it stuck with him.

Christopher gave her a hug, pulling her in tighter to him. "I'm glad" he said placing a kiss on the top of her head. He took a deep breath through his nose taking in Katt's scent and let it out slowly. He started thinking about how happy he had been in life since meeting Katt, he truly couldn't think of a time in his life that he would wear a bigger smile just at a thought. "I would hate for the woman I love not to feel better in my arms" he gave a small chuckle.

They had never said the "L" word to each other, it had kind of been implied the last couple times they were together and now even more so with her being his chosen mate. Again realizing he wasn't going to say what was on his mind smoothly he gave a feeble attempt. "So I think I need to find a realtor. My house is too far away from the Pack house, I wouldn't feel comfortable with our Pack being so far away from me. Its a good piece of land shouldn't be too hard to sell. I can always stay at the Pack house until I find something closer." There it was out, he sighed a bit then laughed, Katt was lying on his chest so she could hear both his heart beat and the fact he was semi holding his breath. Oh well.

Katt Marshall - June 28, 2008 05:35 PM (GMT)
Katt grinned with her head on Chris' chest. "Perfect. We'll just add a note to the picture. Turn it into a receipt. Purchased, one mate in fairly good condition." Even though she was tired, her tone was teasing, still smiling as she rested against Chris. If Chris could pull off the offhandedly mentioning the things that he was thinking about, so could she, damnit. His lips felt warm as they kissed the top of her head, making her smile all the more. She laughed inwardly, thinking about just how much of a golden brick her old friends would shit if they saw how one man had changed her. Badass little Katt fawning over a guy. Not to say they wouldn't be happy for her, but that golden brick would show up anyway.

His next words sunk into her, making her heart beat a bit faster. Before Katt had a chance to reply, Chris popped out with another one of his smooth attempts at talking about what was on his mind. His heartbeat picked up, a bigger clue in to his nervousness at the words he had let go. Katt turned her head, leaving it resting on Chris' chest, but still able to look him in the eyes. She gave a theatrical sigh, rolling her eyes for emphasis. "Ok, ok. Fine. You can stay here. But don't take that as me being happy that I'll have to trip over all of your stuff or share a bed with you every night." Katt's eyes twinkled as her own heartbeat sped up. The thought of having him here with her was something that made her happier than she could even attempt to describe. But, again, if Chris could get way with his attempts at being smooth, so could she.

But, the next words she had to say would be true, and with no little games behind them. With the smile still on her face, Katt locked her eyes with Chris'. And just so you know, I love you too," she said, smiling up at him.

Christopher Henley - June 28, 2008 05:56 PM (GMT)
Yes, moving in with Katt had crossed his mind more than once since he had seen the place. Every time they were together it made him so happy and he could only hope he effected her that way too. Truth be told he had ventured over to a few jeweler's websites and looked at some rings, but he stopped thinking they needed more time together. Oh there was no doubt in his mind that his heart belonged to her and there was nothing to change that, but slow moving was more his style. Maybe in a few months he could start looking again.

Chris was sure his smile was about to split his face. "Well if you insist" he sighed "I will try to stay out of the way. And if you don't like the idea of sharing your bed" he stopped teasing her with a look of being wounded "I could always...sleep..on the couch" he sniffed playing it up. This was what he wanted to come home to every day. Being able to smile and laugh with Katt, hell he even looked forward to the fights they would have. Dating someone and living with someone were two different things, but he felt they were ready and so did Katt.

There they word, so she had caught the "L" word slip, Chris knew she would. He kissed her after those words, a deep passionate kiss she deserved. He only broke away to breathe, not wanting to stop kissing her. It was validation that she was real and all of this wasn't some strange dream.

Katt Marshall - June 28, 2008 07:07 PM (GMT)
Chris' face lit up in a smile that was brighter than the sun. Katt couldn't stop a similar smile from hitting her, stretching from ear to ear. She laughed as he laid it on this, even sniffling and looking down at her with big and wide puppy dog eyes. Shaking her head softly, she laughed again. "Ok, fine. I'll share my bed. But that doesn't mean I have to like it. Granted, I will like it a whole helluva lot, but that's besides the point." Katt grinned up at him, just looking into his eyes. She took in another deep breath, revelling in the idea that if he was living here with her she would be able to do that any damn time she pleased. Heaven knows she did whenever he would spend the night. Just thinking that she would have him, his scent and everything that went with it, around her all the time was a damn good thing to look forward to.

"So, maybe tomorrow we can drop in and check on things in the pack house and then head out to your old place and start packing." She would have continued talking, she really would have, but that was when Chris' lips found hers and every other thought fell right out of her head. Katt let out a small whimper, letting her arms move up to wrap themselves around Chris' shoulders and hold tight to him. She melted into that kiss, into that embrace, with everything that was in her. Her heart was thudding in her ears by teh time he pulled away, both of them breathing heavy.

The day may have started out pretty crappy, but it sure was ending well.

Christopher Henley - June 28, 2008 07:28 PM (GMT)
He chuckled and then began nibbling on her neck "Right, not enjoy, I see that" he teased her. Chris liked the idea that he could come home and give her a kiss as soon as he walked in the door, definite perk for actually coming home. When he broke the kiss, he took a few seconds to regain his composure and breathe a bit normally. "Yeah, we can check on the pack house and then begin packing. I can take a few days off work too. The way they have been working me I need it" Chris said resting his forehead on hers, his fingers rubbing absentmindedly on Katt's cheek.

"What do you need me to do around here to help you get ready for me?" Chris didn't want to move in and just take over Katt's space, no he wanted it to be a joint venture and so did Katt, she volunteered to help him pack. It seemed to be getting off on the right foot. He sat back, taking his beer in hand and took a sip. He was going to continue that kiss and then there would be very minimal talking if her kept so close to her. Luckily Chris had a little self control, but it seemed to flutter out the window when his tattooed beauty was in the room.

There was one more thing he wanted to talk about dealing with pack business, but this wasn't a hard subject to talk about like the previous one. "Jaqui proved herself pretty well tonight. She makes a great first impression" he chuckled taking another sip of his beer. An ice cold beer, a beautiful woman that he was planning his future with and a comfy couch, what else could a man possibly want?

Katt Marshall - June 28, 2008 07:46 PM (GMT)
If she were a cat, Katt would probably have started purring as soon as Chris' mouth met her neck. Instead, a light growl formed in the back of her throat, smiling as she snuggled in closer to him. As tired as she was, if he kept that up, neither one of them would be going to sleep for quite a while. "I can probably take a few days off as well. I'll call the boss man tomorrow and ask him to have someone take care of my appointments over the next few days. I'm going to need to talk to him about working less too. I can't spend all of my time at the shop anymore. Not only will it drive me crazy, but it looks like I'm going to have a lot more to do." She smiled as his forehead came to rest against hers, titlting her face closer to the soft touch of his fingers on her cheek. Yeah, she could get used to this.

Taking her own beer in hand, Katt sat up a bit more on the couch. "Well, the place is in good condition, but there are a few things I want to do anyway. I'd still like to redo the cabinets int he kitchen, and fix up the master bath. For the most part though, that stuff is just the icing on the cake. With as much as I've been working lately, I have enough saved up that we could trick this place out." Damn, it was nice to say 'we' when it came to this house and Chris. Things were defintely looking up in her life. It seemed that life in general was getting better, that is, as soon as Chris came into the picture.

Katt gave a half laugh at Chris' next comment. Taking another sip of her beer, she nodded. "Yeah. It's kind of hard to have a bad opinion of a person when they helped heal you. Let's still keep our eyes and ears on that one, just in case. She may have helped us, but we still don't know her all that well. Adelphus may have been one to trust any wolf that walked through his door at face value, but I'd rather be safe than sorry." Adelphus. That bastard. She growled again, this time for not as much of a good reason as she had before.

Christopher Henley - June 28, 2008 09:12 PM (GMT)
Chris was happy to hear she wouldn't be working as much, enough to keep her happy and pay some bills. "Well I won't be pulling anymore all nighters and waking up with the imprint of the keyboard on my forehead. I have too many good things waiting at home now." Chris' house was for running around and getting a bit of exercise for his wolf on days off and sleeping - that was pretty much it. Now they were building a home, ok well it was technically already built, but they were making it better.

"Oh good, my overtime and bonus now has someplace to go, home improvements for us. Plus you have forced labor right here baby" he winked at her smiling. "You say what needs to be done and it will get done, we are just lucky I heal fast, nails through hands don't feel very good contrary to popular belief."

Chris nodded a growl came out matching in sync with Katt's. "True, who can you trust when you Pack leader runs off at the beck and call of some bloody sucking bi-" he stopped himself taking a deep breath calming himself and his wolf noticing the air around him had gotten thicker with heat. "Yeah a probationary period sounds good. We can sit down and talk to her about everything after the dust settles. For now" he moved closer to Katt wrapping his arm back around her. "I just want to hold you and make you happy and not think about anything else but my Lupa, my queen."

Katt Marshall - June 28, 2008 09:24 PM (GMT)
Katt grinned up at Chris before taking another sip of her beer. Wow, Chris coming home to her. Was all of this really happening> Yeah, she had thought about it a lot lately, asking Chris to move in with her. But to have all fo this happen in one day, it threatened to make her head float away. Wow. Coming home to Chris and having him do the same to her. Oh yeah, this day took a definite turn for the fan-fucking-tastic. She smiled again at his next comment, chuckling as he winked down at her. "Well, I don't want forced labor. I'm sure we can come up with some type of agreement on the payment you will require." She waggled her eyebrows a bit, before chucking once more. "Besides, it's not like you are going to have to do all of the work. We can do it... together."

Katt's grin left her as soon as the conversation came back to Adelphus. She nodded in her agreement, taking ehr time to calm down just as Chris did. There wasn't a thing that would be accomplished by sitting there and getting full of rage and anger at him for leaving them like that. All it would do is make them pissed off and miserable. Besides, oddly enough, it seemed things were much better now that he was gone. Chris was Ulfric now and she was his Lupa. Talk about a crazy world.

Chris seemed to echo her thoughts with his next comment. Taking another sip of her beer before setting it down on the table, she nodded and let out a quiet mmhmm as her reply. Katt sunk into Chris' arms, smiling aganst his chest as her arms moved back to circle around him. She could get used to this.

Christopher Henley - June 28, 2008 09:47 PM (GMT)
This had to be the best relationship he had ever been in. Katt was beautiful, intelligent, witty, and his. Not his in a possessive way, no he could never tame Katt and he never would want to, no it was the same sense that he was hers in that forever sort of way. He had to thank the Fates that he had found Katt and she had let him in. Now they were moving in together, sharing everything. He could only cross his fingers and pray that nothing would go wrong.

When Katt settled into his arms he just let everything go, no more thoughts of Adelphus or the crazy humans, it was just Katt and himself. He smiled, holding her in his arms for a bit again content to sit there in silence. His wolf this time wasn't though. He wanted his mate and scent wasn't enough. He again left Chris and found his mate. He found her and again circled the female before lying beside her. She was still wounded and the wolf knew that. He licked at her shoulder before lying his head down on her. They were in a cuddly mood too.

Christopher sat her up a little so he could look at her face, his eyes lighting up as soon as he met hers. After a long hard day all you want to come home to is a loving woman and here she was. He kissed her mirroring their previous kiss, drinking her in. His hand came up around her neck, holding her though all was gentle still remembering she had been shot and lycan or not a gunshot wound hurt. He pulled her into his lap, maneuvering so her legs would wrap around his waist and then began kissing her again. He needed her, all the stress of the day had faded as soon as their lips met. His shoulders released their tension he hadn't even realized he had and he melted into her becoming one.

Katt Marshall - June 28, 2008 10:25 PM (GMT)
Feeling this much content from a simple embrace had to be a crime. It was just too damn good not to. It amazed Katt still just how much she had taken Chris into every aspect of her life, and now he was going to be living there with her. They didn't talk, because mostly it wasn't really needed. All that mattered was the warmth she felt wrapped so neatly in Chris' arms. She felt his wolf leave him and slip past her skin, moving deep within her and circling her own wolf. Her wolf lifted a sleepy head, a canine grin parting her muzzle as her counterpart laid down beside her. The wolf let out a small and content whimper, nuzzling Chris' wolf as he licked at her shoulder before resting his head on her. That was about the time that Chris' lips met Katt's, making a similar whimper escapse her lips as well.

Now this was the kind of kiss that made you want to stand up and slap somebody. As soon as their lips touched, it was like they both let out an inaudible sigh of relief. Every other thought left them, no more worries, no more anything, just the feeling of their arms wrapped around eachother and the smell of skin was more than enough. Katt was sure she could live, just from this alone. Chris kissed her like he was going to drink her down, and Katt revelled in it. Her arms moved up from around his waist as he shifted, lifting her up to rest on his lap. Her legs moved around him, wrapping themselves neatly as she crossed her ankles behind his back.

Katt melted into him again. God, she needed this. No matter how tired she was, or the fact that her chest was aching, she needed this. She needed him. She let out another mmm sound, tlting her head as she sent a hand up to tug lightly at the hair on the base of Chris' neck. She vaguely remembered thinking earlier that if he kissed her like that again, it would be quite a while before either of them got any sleep. Yeah, it looked like sleep was flying off into the horizon.
