CHARACTER INFOCharacter name: Jackson Lupei
Nicknames: Jake
Character age: 16 years of age
Birthdate: July 24, 1991
Gender: Male
Lycan Species: Hyena
Level: Submissive (though that has yet to be revealed)
Strengths: Jake is a newly made werehyena, and so has not learned much of his strengths in that area. Before his being bitten, he was very into the theatre at his school. He, also, has a very good balance system to himself. He acquired this from frequent skating on his skateboard at the park. Along with these, he can also hold his own in a fist-fight. And... does video game skills count?
Weaknesses: Of course, Jake now has the usual weaknesses that all other lycanthropes have. He is also her stubborn and rash, just like a teenage boy would be. If he doesn’t like something, then he throws a temper tantrum and thinks that everything will bow down to his will.
Weapons carried on person: The only weapon that Jake carried on person before his attack was a pocket knife and his own fists. Now, though, it is uncertain whether he will upgrade his standards.
Tell me about yourselfHair colour/style: Light brown-blonde, shoulder length and shaggy
Eye colour: Grey / Blue
Portrayal: Aaron Dismuke
Picture: Physical description: Jake’s clothing style is everything but uptight. He likes to be comfortable, no matter where he would be going. And so he normally wear t-shirts of all kinds: band, name brand, etc. Because of the heat in Florida, he is used to wearing his cargo shorts where ever he goes. He wears the same kind of shoes all the time, skater
shoes. It is very rare that you will ever be able to see Jake in anything close to a tuxedo. Along with this, though it is not a part of his wardrobe, Jake brings around a
backpack that holds his CD’s and his skateboard, as well as anything else that he needs to lug around with him.
Jake was born with olive-colored skin. He has retained most of that color, though his arms and legs are slightly tanned. Jake has large steel-blue eyes and light brown-blonde hair. His hair is long and shaggy, with the back reaching the top of his shoulders and the front to his eyebrows. Jake’s body is at a normal height of 5'9", and weighs about 120 pounds. His skin is mostly smooth except for a few callouses on his hands and feet from skating a lot.

Personality description: Jake is a very interesting figure. His personality shows that of an outgoing boy, but shy at times. Though, the latter has yet to arise for some time now. Jake is what you would call a normal teenage boy. He wants everything in the world, and is unhappy that he can't have it all. He wants to be older, but has not matured that much as of yet. He does act this immature, and throws hissy-fits often.
Even through this, Jake is a very kind person. It takes a while for him to trust a person, but when he does he will put his life on the line for them. Despite the fact that he doesn't get along with his parents very well, Jake still cares for them. He has never been on a date before in his life, though he has still set standards for himself when that time actually comes. He trusts himself in everything that he does, and goes with his gut a lot of the time, as well.
Take me home to meet mom and dad:Parents: William Lupei (father, deceased [42 years]) / Catharine Lupei (mother, deceased [40 years])

Children: None.
History: Jake Lupei was born and raised in Miami by his parents, William and Catharine Lupei. He was their first and only child, and so grew up with a lot of expectations sitting on his shoulders. Jake grew up in a nicely-sized apartment with his family. His mother taught in the high school as an art teacher, and his father worked as an emergency medical technician. With his mother working within the high school, and his father being an intelligent man, Jake grew up with pretty good, average B grades.
When Jake turned 12, he began to get interested in skating. His parents bought him his first skateboard that year for Christmas, and he began to practice immediately. He began to get better and better, and soon enough he was racing toward the park every day after school. After major practicing, he competed in tournaments and started to win first place in almost all of them. He began to get bored of it soon, though. His mother started to get concerned about his grades not too soon after, and Jake was grounded from skating for a while.
It was at this time, his fourteenth year, that Jake started to get interested in theatre. He applied and was allowed to play as many different characters in the next bunch of plays that the school set up. He found that he enjoyed it a lot, and continued with it. His grades started to soar then, and he was allowed to start skating again. He was doing very well in school, the plays, and his skating. One day, though, he stayed at the park for the longest time, putting off coming home until he got his trick done right. By the time this happened, it was one in the morning.
The lights overhead shone bright, though a few of them flickered. It was a full moon, but Jake didn’t pay any attention to the fact. He was, by far, an extremely realistic person at this time. He was exhausted from all of the effort that he had put into his new trick, and didn’t even notice the paws hitting the pavement, following him as he walked home. It didn’t happen in more than ten seconds. A large ...
thing jumped up on Jake from out of the bushes and bit his arm, jaws clamping down hard. Jake had instinctively pulled out his skateboard and started to beat the creature over the head with it, screaming for it to get off. The two wrestled on the ground for what seemed like hours. The animal finally ran off, but the damage had already been done.
His parent’s didn’t notice that he was suddenly wearing long-sleeved shirts in the middle of June. Jake didn’t bring any attention to it, not wanting to worry his parents. The teen had used some of the gauze and medical things in his father’s medical aid kit to wrap up the wound. He thought that it had just been some dumb mutt that had gotten loose. Jake even put off the sudden need for meat at every meal, and pain that shot through his abdomen. He was proven oh-so-wrong not but a month after that. (continued in the writing sample)
Writing Sample: Jake didn’t know what was happening. One moment he was sitting in his room, playing Guild Wars on the computer, and the next, he hurt. The scar on his arm burned like it was on fire. He was on the ground the next moment, writhing as if his body would have exploded. He screamed, and he could hear dishes breaking in the kitchen, and heels clicking, coming toward his room. Jake heard a high-pitched scream come from his mother, and then his father from down the hall. He felt like his back was ripping open, and he suddenly felt hungry.
It seemed like the world was going to hell. Jake didn’t know what to do, where to go. It felt like there was something inside of him, telling him what to do. He couldn’t think anymore, and it felt like that something inside of him was driving him. He was suddenly running. He didn’t know where, but his legs did. He saw flashing lights, people, cars that seemed larger than they used to. He then knew what he needed; refuge. Jake needed a place to go now that his home wasn’t safe for him anymore.
His legs continued to move until he reached a long, dark pathway. This alleyway was deserted, cramped, wet. Not even a homeless person would even think of going down this horrid place. Jake did, though. His nails – no –
claws clicked on the ground as he made his way to the end of the alleyway. A tall, bricked wall acted as a sanctuary to him. Cars zoomed passed the alleyway, lights blaring through the darkness. They didn’t know what kind of a monster lay in that alleyway, and neither did Jake.
He didn’t know what he had become. It hurt, somewhat. His joints felt different, and his body felt smaller, but bigger at the same time. He felt warmer, even though he wasn’t wearing clothes. The taste of blood writhed in his mouth, and flesh stuck between his teeth – no –
fangs. Then, suddenly, a black rush came toward him, and he closed his eyes.
And the rest:Anything else? The first roleplay that I wish to do with Jake would be in an alleyway just after his escaping from the scene of the crime where he killed his family. Also, his sexuality is unknown as of yet.
Did you read the rules? Oui, ma petite
