Erik quickly made his way across the busy street of Miami and into the local gym in the hope of a good workout. He hadn't gone to the gym in ages and felt like he owed it to himself to go and get in at least 30 minutes worth. He entered the building and gracefully stepped onto the gym floor, eyeing each machine and trying to decide what section of the gym to use first.

He finally settled on the free weights area and headed over there, placing his workout back on the bench as he stood in front of the arm flexer machine. He slowly began using it, adjusting the weights to what he normally could lift, aliot stronger than the average human thanks to his lycan side. A human on the left side of him gawked at the amount of weights he was using. Erik just shook his head in amusement and continued using the machine.

The added muscle was a very nice bonus to being a Lycan though like anything else it had it's cost. One cost was that the Lycan had to work out twice as hard as a nomral human to keep the muscle mass. Loosing it just wasn't a Option to Quinn. Enforcers were the Pard's Body guards and to do his job well meant Quinn had to work out at least three times a week.

Quinn slung his bag over one shoulder as he took in the face of the local gym. His shaded eyes swept over the front of the building taking in the mirrored doors and tarnished handles. Sorin had suggested this place after hearing the leopard moan about not being able to get a proper work out wince returning home. he did feel a little bad about whining to her but it had been true. Since returning to Miami Kali had disappeared and he hadn't heard from Marcus as well.


Shaking off this thoughts Quinn pulled open one of the heavy double hinged doors and walked though. The inside seemed nice enough Quinn thought to himself as he made his way inside. He wasn't to surprised that he smelled Leopard as he wandered though a group of laughing girls. What was surprising was the fact he didn't know the scent. Another new leopard in town Quinn thought to himself making his way over to the thread mills. He glanced around trying to pick out the leopard without drawing to much attention to himself.

Erik finished using the weight machine and proceeded passed the treadmlls, he caught a whiff of another leopard in the room and glanced around, trying to see who it was. He could tell it was definantly male but he couldn't pinpoint where it was coming from. He took a seat at another machine next to the treadmill and began working out, still glancing around, trying to figure out where the leopard was.

After setting a steady pace on the thread mill Quinn set his bacvk bdown next to the machine and placed his bottle of water in the little cup holder that all the machine's seemed to have.He slide on to the machine as it started rolling making sure to not lose his balance and fall face first onto the ground.


After jogging for a few moments he notixced the smell of leopard seemed to increase and head his way.Glancing around he noticed a tall Blonde making his way to the machine next to his. He watched idely for a moment wondering why he hadn't seen this cat at the Pard house yet. Normally all leopards stopped by even if they were only passing though.

"Howdy there.You new in town? Don't remember seeing you around here before" Quinn let out a small sirring of power to let the Blonde know that he was a lycan as well.

Erik startled at the males voice and turned around on the machine, having been so caught up in his workout that he hadn't noticed the man next to him. He smiled at him and his own leopard caught the scent of another leopard once more, this time, he knew the scent was from this male in front of him.

"Sort of, I've been here for a few weeks." He replied, "I'm Erik, Erik Desmond. What's your name?" He gave a friendly smile as he extended his hand in greeting to the fellow lycan.

The sounds of machines running in the background clouded Quinn's sense of hearing so it took a moment for sounds of the leopard talking to actually reach his ears.The machine's would seem quiet to any human but with the enhanced hearing that came with being a Lycan the machine made a medium whirrling noise.Quinn offered a nod and his hands as Erik reached his own out.

"Name's Quinn.Nice 'ta meet ya" Quinn let his hand wrapped out the other lycan's hand trying to get a sense of the cat in front of him. His leopard rose up in him interested by this leopard that he hadn't had the chance to meet before and he got a sense of white spotted fur. Erik must be snow Leoaprd like Bou Quinn thought to himself releasing his hold on Eirk's hand. Snow leopard were rare enough that he had only meet two in his time since becoming a shifter.


"You just passing though or you got plans to settle down in Miami?" Quinn asked trying to keep his jogging pace even so that he could carry on his talk without tripping on his own feet. He noticed that a few of the girls that had come in after him seemed to drift closer to Erik and he had to smother a grin.
