Hello and welcome to Circus of the Damned, an anitaverse RPG. Please read the following rules. Once you join, you are acknowledging that you agree to all of the following.

Signup with you characters first and last name.
There is no way to change your user name after you have signed up. An admin has to go in and do it for you. So, to save your leverly admin a few headaches, please sign up with your characters name from the beginning.
RESPECT ALL MEMBERS!!
Let's face it. We are all adults here. If you have a problem with another member, please handle it in a civilized manner. If things get heated, let an admin know and we will take care of it. It is, after all, what we are here for.
God-modding is strictly forbidden
Do not attempt to control another player's character without their permission. If two or more players wish to participate in a co-post, each player must express their consent in PMs to the Moderator or on the thread in question.
Power-playing is forbidden
No character is perfect. The most expert of archers may miss and the clumsiest of fools may achieve a lucky blow. Additionally, do not assume that your character is matching with everyone's sense of beauty. What is attractive to one may be repulsive to another. Along this same vein, killing another character requires their player's consent, or the intervention of the Moderator.
Signature images and size
It is a great help to have a sig banner with your characters face claim. It makes it easier for those your are rp'ing with the get that character into their head when working on a reply. All signatures are to be no more than 550px wide and 300px tall. Any larger and it stretches out the margins of the board. If you signature does not follow these guidelines, I will have to remove it.
Separate IC and OOC
This rule touches on several aspects. First, the player's personal knowledge does not equate to the character's knowledge. Secondly, while in character rivalries are permitted, even encouraged, players should treat each other with civility and maturity. If any player has trouble with another player(s), please contact the Moderator.
IC posts should be of moderate quality
Perfect spelling and grammar is, by no means, mandatory. Everyone makes mistakes. This rule is intended to prohibit chat speak and leet from role-playing posts. If one wishes to role-play, they should be courteous enough to their fellow players to offer comprehensible posts.
Language and content
Profanity is permitted by both characters and players, so long as rule 4 is kept in mind. OOC posts will require civility, at the least. So far as adult content for our underaged members, fade to black scenes are recommended if taking place in privacy. The managerial staff requests that posts of a more mature nature be posted in the Mature Forum. This board is passworded, too keep out our younger members. Please PM the admin for the password should you need it, and remember that only members who are 18 and up will be allowed there.
Underage Members
Please note that this is an adult site with mature situations and characters. We prefer 18 and up for our members, but will allow underaged members as long as they refrain from posts of an adult nature. If you are underage, your age will be posted in your member title, and our admin staff will make sure that you stay away from any topics or posts that are adult in nature. This is your first and last warning on this. If an admin or mod catches one of our underaged members in a mature rated thread, or find that you have lied about your age on your character application, you will be booted.
Characters
All characters need to be approved by the managers before introduced into gameplay. NO EXEPTIONS!
C-box
Understand that the use of the c-box is a privilege, not a right. We ask that all members and guests uphold all rules meant for the board on the chatbox as well. You will get a warning, and if the behavior is not changed, you will be banned from using the c-box. We are all here to have fun, not be accosted or annoyed.
Characters after a member leaves
If a member leaves, for any reason, their character bio will then be moved to the 'graveyard', or Abandoned Characters forum. Understand that if you do choose to leave, you character will then be available for adoption after a period of time. Now, this adoption could be done by another player, or if the admin see fit, that character then becomes an NPC for us to do with as we see fit (Namely for use in an outrageous and gory death scene should the mood strike us). If you do not wish for this to happen, please inform the admin team upon your leaving the board and we will place a note in the character bio that states your character is not open for adoption.
Read and understand
To ensure that all members have read the rules, in your application, where it asks if you have read the rules, please reply with 'Oui, ma petite.'
