Wow, looks like you really planned the electrical well. Cool, ambitious project!

These pics are a couple years old, much has changed since, much more rock.
All my tanks have HOB filters.
I am an electrician and when I built my new fishroom I made sure I wouldn't have the mass of power bars and cords I did have .

Ok Fever Im gonna pick your brain now!Im going to be wiring my fishroom shortly what kind of wiring do I go to the plugs 14/2?and should I use Bx wire or is that necessary?I noticed you used conduits.Should I use GFI's.Its hard to see if you did or not
Sorry to get your professional advice without paying for it but if you need to know about Sony electronics I will be happy to return the favour

No problem about free advice, thats what we'r here for, to help each other out.
I used conduit because my walls were already finished. Also I have several circuits in the conduit, 1 for filters, 1 for heaters and one for lights, controlled by a timer.
# 14 NMD(not BX) is good for what you are doing and GFI protection is always recomended (even though I don't have it) yet
You can do this several way's, GFI receptacles throughout, GFI rec. in the first outlet and this if wired correctly will protect everything downstream from it, or a GFI breaker, (expensive)
GFI througout is also more expensive but the advantage to this is if you have a problem in one device it is easy to find the problem

I like hearing you recommend GFI to people also because of the safety issue: my high school band partner was electrocuted and died after touching a metal pole while using a defective supposendly-insulated sander.
I think about that every time I stick my hand in a tank...
