Title: White sand/Black Rocks or Black sand/White Rocks?

Please help me decide! For a community tank of Tanganyikans, which works best, Light sand with dark rocks or Black sand with White Texas Holey rock? Please advise with pros and cons to both. Fish would include Shell Dwellers, Julies , Black Calvas and Paracyprichromis.

Well I have 4 tanks. 1 has light tan sand with different colored rocks and live plants. It houses a calvus and pleco...shows the poop really bad..not fond of the light sand. My other tanks have the black sand..poop shows very lil. 1 of those tanks houses Brevis and snails. 1 has holey rock and that looks great against the black sand.
When it comes down to it, its really a personal preference....But if I could I would have used the black sand in my planted tank..instead of trying to make it look all natural.

Hope this helps alil
