This is water straight out of the tap this morning!!! Yesterday evening the fire department was working on the hydrant in our front yard and this was the result. Sad I don't know what they did, but it sure made a mess of things. I ran a ton of water through all of the taps and it's starting to clear out a bit, but I'm a little worried about it. No water changes today! No dishwashing or laundry or showers either.

What a weird coincidence. This morning I turned on the tap in my apartment and nothing came out, but you could hear the air running through. When water finally reached the tap it was that color as well. I did not put it near my fish. However, it is cleared now.

Thank goodness, it finally cleared up this afternoon.

I talked to the water company and they said they might have to flush out the hydrants again because the fire dept. didn't inform them and didn't do something properly - red tape sort of stuff. We'll be given notice this time. Good Job

Good thing it wasn't sitting on a table in front of Mongo or myself...We'd have put a lemon in it, iced it down and tried to drink it! :D
