I came home from work today and found one of my 1" demasoni females holding!! Gimme an A! I knew it wouldn't take long! I'm so excited Bouncy Bouncy Bouncy

My first holder wasn't much bigger than that. She only held 5 tiny little fry, but they were the cutest little things.

The little devils look just like their parents from the second they are born! Very neat to see those tiny little bars and realize that they are fighting within seconds of entering this world!

I find the fry grow out pretty fast, too, and we had great success in keeping many different stages of fry together as far as size goes.

Kim I plan on letting them spit in the main tank at this point unless the females get harrassed then I'll pull them out.

I don't blame you...You tend to invent alot of new words when you're chasing a female that looks identical to 20 other fish with a net... :D

Some will survive, I'm sure, and it's always interesting to watch the little fry slipping around in the rockwork in a main tank.

Thanks all! I'll try and get some pics of her! You know your asking alot! It's gonna be hard getting a picture of a 1" fish!

Well it didn't last. Either they weren't fertilized or she just spit/swallowed the eggs due to being a new mommy. I'm ready for the next one!!

Oh that's too bad, but you're right, there will be plenty to come.
