Doing a water change yesterday, I had my arm in the tank and, as usual, someone was biting my arm hard and as usual, I involuntarily jerked my arm out of the tank, but this time the fish was still hanging on and fell off on the floor. twitchy Those darn female calliptera are mean -- they are almost as bad as my saulosi. I tossed her back in the water and she swam off, apparently unharmed. I have a tiny little tear in the skin -- again.
Electro-shock therapy works for mine, keeps em in check. That and time out, they hate it when I make em sit in the naughty chair.
At least she isnt drawing blood yet, right?

No blood from the calliptera, but the saulosi have done so a few times. Of course they are just tiny bites, but when they start biting it's always startling. It even hurts sometimes! Prboy
Shock therapy sounds good to me. Maybe knock them out long enough to clean their tank. :FAINTLY:
My Saulosi do the same thing to me too, Aura!
But my male Rusty really likes to take a nip just as I begin
the water change.
