Alright everyone what do you feed your fish? How much do you feed them? What is it that you feed them? and of course why?
MY schedule:
I fed my fry and africans twice daily. In the morning i fed a very small amount of Brine Shrimp Flake and at night i fed them SPirulina flake again a very small amount. The reason if fairly selfish I love to watch my guys eat and i feel if i break up the same amount i would feed in one sitting into two i get to watch them more.
I also feed them tetra fin colour bits as a treat now and then.
Let me know what everyone else does

I feed mine once a day at night when I'm sitting by the tanks to watch them
for a while.
I feed them 1mm pellets and spirulina flakes.
I also feed my peacock/Mbuna mixed 125 tank a treat of
Frozen brine shrimp once a week usually on Saturday night.
I feed my fry tank crushed flake food.

When I had Mbuna I fed them once a day usually at night when I could watch them and make sure everyone was eating. I fed them NLS and spirulina flakes. I would usually skip a friday night and feed them seaweed or brine shimp as a treat on Saturdays.
With my discus I feed 3 times a day. 1st feeding is pellet and flakes, 2nd feeding is discus formula and brine shrimp, 3rd feeding is frozen blood worms. The night right before a water change I give them frozen beef heart because it's really messy but they love it!

Great info so far guys the only other thing i will add to this is on tuesdays when i work late at the dealership my guys do not get fed. After talking with derek and larry they have told me that the WC fish i have basically starve in the wild and feeding them every day will make them fat and lazy and not very good at breading which i have started doing.

I forgot to add that I fast my fish once a week;
usually on Sundays.
Who's next?

I guess I'm next. I feed NLS 1mm pellets sparingly twice a day -- once in the morning and once in the evening. I do occasionally miss a feeding. I also will occasionally add a chunk of zucchini or cucumber for the plecos, but the other fish really enjoy it as well.
The reason I feed twice a day is that it seems like it's better to break one larger meal into two smaller ones. I know it might be different for fish, but I'd rather have two spaced out meals than only one. Drooly

I feed my fish twice a day, Hikari cichlid excell in the morning, spirulina sticks when I get home. I fast them on thursdays, and Saturday and Sunday I feed them a homemade shrimp/veggie paste.
