I have one male frontosa that has a whte bump with red around it, it looks like a wort or mole??? what can I do to make sure the other do not get it?? Is this a disease??

I don't think I can take a picture, he's hiding, but nothing unusial with those fish. I seems that it's smaller today, or it fell off????? strange........ thanks

It could have been just one of the bump like areas cichlids get from time to time, or it could have been parasitic. Without seeing it, it's hard to say.

But, if the fish is hiding, it sounds like you've got something going on, so lets start with the basics...

How long has the tank been set up?

Were these fish used to cycle the tank?

What are the water parameters?

What is your normal tank maintenance routine?

Have you lost any fish under unusual circumstances recently?

Have you introduced any new fish without quarantine?

What size tank is this?

What are the inhabitants of the tank?
