i have a 75 gallon planted tank with 5 angels 5 young curvicep cichlids and 4 half grown ? keyhole cichlids and 12 rummy nose ive had the 4 keyholes since they were real small and im possitive 1 is a male will over the last several weeks im findind dead cory cats could the keyholes be the murders or is there some underlining problem? i do weeky water changes and there are no nitrites ect.
Do the cories appear to have been victims of aggression?
Are you seeing any tattered fins with the ones that are still alive?
I've had issues with keeping cories in community tanks that have any type of cichlids before, not actually deaths, but some abuse to the finnage.
Aggression would be the first place I would look...

yes i have noticed some tatered fins
It certainly sounds like something is picking on them. I'd bet this is your problem, if you haven't had any problems with any of the other species.
No cottony or fuzzy growths around the tattered areas, I hope???
Kim
I would suspect the angels or the curviceps. My dosigera (also a laetacara like the curviceps) have been know to be nippy. I had to remove some to prevent fin damage to an angel. On an unrelated topic, I'd love to see pics of the tank; it sounds really nice.
