Fun! Wiggle it just a little bit!
I was just looking at some of the pictures of the 10 gallon I set up earlier this year. It was so nice and green at first.
Makes me want to try one more time, but I know what will happen. Why you little..
cturner - January 11, 2008 02:12 PM (GMT)
Awww come on Aura try it again! We can help each other out and learn together.
I'll tell you what, I've got alot of crap on this little 10 gallon. I'm running 45 watts of t5 lighting and CO2 plus I'm adding Flourish, Flourish excel & Flourish iron (because my water naturally has none!). I can't wait to see it in a month!
Let's see that old 10 gallon you used to have, please??

The planted tanks look so nice that it wouldn't take much arm twisting to get me to try it again, but I would have to do something about the lighting. Right now, all I have left are plants that don't require a lot - java fern and moss, anubias, and one unbelievably tall water onion - that thing has grown like crazy.
Here's what the tank looked like soon after I set it up.

It didn't last long! There are a couple of before and after of my plants in this thread.
Plant Failure Maybe I will try again. Hmmmm

It looks like from your other pictures that you might have had a touch of algae (can't tell for sure).
I'm gonna twist your arm as much as I can! I'm having surgery at the end of Jan. and I'll have lots of time on my hands to read all the different plant forums!

Algae is my specialty - brown algae, that is. Good Job
I hope the surgery isn't anything serious and that you have a swift recovery!
cturner - January 11, 2008 03:21 PM (GMT)
Yeah brown is my specialty too! Giggly
Ohh it's no big deal just a Thyroidectomy. I got a really big lump and we all agreed that we didn't like it being there! Cut date is 1-25-08! It will be my first surgery ever and hopefully the only! blinky
