I havnt posted in awhile I have been super busy trying to get my house ready for a move to Ar. But I felt I had to share this with you all.
This was my first cichlid I ever owned. He was bought up in Mi about 7yrs ago.
We moved him in a 10g 5yrs ago down to Al. He spent 10hrs in a camper driven down here with 3 kids, 2 dogs, and a bird.
We had hoped to make another move with him to Ar. But I guess he had other plans. This was my favorite fish. I hope you enjoy these pics of him.
I do think it was old age as the other fish in the tank are just fine.

such a shame to loose such a dear fish, he traveled well with you and gave you years of fun, I can only hope you can find a new fish, to take with you to your new home, that will bring you near the enjoyment this one did.

Sorry to hear about your loss Leslianne. Especially since it was your first cichlid. However, 7 years is not a bad age for a mbuna.
You do have some amazing pictures though to remember him/her by.

Sorry to hear about your loss! He sure lived a great life with you and it's great that you have such wonderful pics to remember him by!

Sorry to hear about your loss LB, its always hard to have a favorite fish die. I hope your able to find a new "fav" and make sure and keep us informed on your impending move.

Yes,sorry to hear about him passing on.I think back over the years and I can still remember those special ones,but I don't have pics of them all,,,mostly because they were pre-digital camera.

I've also been offline a lot due to my work schedule, but I wanted to join in and say I'm sorry to hear about your loss. The best ones do become as much of the family as a dog or cat.
We still discuss a Mozambique Mouthbreeder we had back in the 1970's.
