Title: New Fishroom

Slowing working away at the new fishroom! We finally got the slate floor finished and now alls we need are to do a bit more elecrical, water, and buy/move tanks!

The room will have:
8 15g
8 38g
4 45g
8 75g
4 90g
3 125g
1 300g SHOW

I have moved the first row of tanks (pictured below). We still have alot of work to do, but hopefully we will be moved by december as we may have a fish club meeting at my place sometime before christmas.
All of the tanks from 75-125g will be run on a state of the art cental sump/wetdry. All of the smaller breeder and fry tanks will be on air.
I am more a a malawi guy, and only 4 tanks in the fishroom will be for tanganyikans... My 2 frontosa colonies and my 2 paracyprichromis colonies. the 300g will be a malawi show tank built onto the wall right as you walk in from the exterior entrance into the fishroom.
Right now, I believe i have one of the most diverse and large collection of different malawi aulonocara species with currently over 20. I also have alot of huge pretator haplochromis with a few mbuna and tangs...
Here is what i have moved to far!

Looking great so far!

I agree with Derek; you should write up an
article on how to build a fishroom from the ground up!

Can't wait to see the finished product!

Good luck, Brad!

So is putting together a fish room more work than fun or more fun than work?

With all of the electrical, water, filtration etc. it sounds like you really need to know what you are doing!
