Hc 1st advice: read book reference. I believe this is the most basic step you should do before going into a new venture (not just stock market alone).
My 2nd advice: Visit CU.. haha. Why? From practical TA chart examples within CU, books reference recommendation (thou' not many) to online educational websites/resources to TA practitioner blogs to charting softwares to data vendors to research links to... ... just quite many to list out :D
